Jazzercise Raleigh Fitness Center: what do users think?
Barbara H: Best instructors, best overall workout. I have been Jazzercising over 30 years and feel I get a great workout every time. Classes are geared so you can workout to the best of your ability.
Sonja Warner: Best workout, great people, diverse music, awesome moves, just try it out.
Nancy Kennedy: I love coming here! Great, professional staff! Fun and friendly ‘Jazzer-girls’! Looking forward to heading back to ‘in person’ classes very soon but have thoroughly enjoyed the remote, on line classes this past year!
Diane Walters: This is a great dance fitness studio! The teachers are well-trained, and are great teachers for people of all fitness levels. In my experience with Zumba (several classes, with different teachers at different gyms), they're is truly no comparison. I always leave those classes frustrated because I can't keep up ... little instruction, and always an assumption that you can learn by watching on the fly! Jazzercise is much more instructional, which ensures proper form, and for me, a MUCH better workout. I've never been a good dancer, but I feel successful with Jazzercise because the teachers always cue the next steps that are coming up so I'm ready for the change. The nice thing is that you can take your Jazzercise moves on to other dance floors. 😉

Ladies Fitness & Wellness: what do users think?
Karen Scharf: Love it here! The best "gym" I have ever belonged to. The owner and other teachers are WONDERFUL!
Lenor Marquis: LFW is like going over to a friend's house. You want to go to LFW even when you think you don't "want" to work out. Fell in love with this place when I moved down here 10 years ago because the dancing (Zumba; hip-hop; cardio dance) makes me SO HAPPY in the purest way. Stayed in love because it introduced me to Pilates and spin and weights and everything I need but didn't really know anything about. Wear what you want, look how you want, set your own intentions (as they say in yoga, which they have too). If you love your comfort zone, stay there. If you're ready to stretch beyond it, you will get the right instruction and support because everyone who walks in is viewed as strong and capable.
Donalyn Heilman: Love this gym! Great variety of classes for all fitness levels. Supportive and friendly community of members and instructors. Have been going for several years now and have no desire to go elsewhere!
Emily G: If you are a woman and are looking for a gym, look no further! I have nothing but good things to say about LFW. The instructors are great, the classes are great and the people are great! The fact that I enjoy and look forward to visiting the gym is amazing in itself. Personal training is also an option; in individual setting or as a small group. I LOVE LFW!!!
Terri Boulay: Great gym lots of variety and the best instructors.
Kate Haggas: Wonderful women’s gym in North Raleigh. Great variety of classes and friendly staff.
Sue Guttilla: i started with going to LFC! There are variety of classes. People are friendly and both the people and teaches are encouraging. no judgment , you just do your best! one of the best places to be working out!
Brenda Hill: Best gym ever! I’ve been a member for 19 years. Instructors, classes and members are amazing!
Наталія Назаренко: This is exactly what I was looking for! Homey, pleasant atmosphere. Supportive friendly staff. Here you feel like a part of the family, not just a nameless gym member. Great variety of classes so you sure will find something to your liking. My work schedule always changing but I never have trouble finding a class that fits my schedule. This gym offers early morning, late evening and weekend classes, personal training and small groups. Perfect place to workout and have fun!
Kristin Koch: I moved to Raleigh this year and joined LFW a few months ago. It was hands down the best decision I've made since moving here. The trainers are great and have personalized the experience based on my needs/goals. I love going to a place where people notice if you're not at class. Highly recommend checking it out.
Jess Barbour: Love every class I take! Great selection for your schedule whether you take morning or evening classes. The small groups are great for an even better challenge. Fun events all the time! Such a great community of women.
June: Great selection of classes at an affordable price. Everyone is very welcoming too and it's a great place to work on your fitness goals!
Caitlyn Leonard: The best gym! There are so many classes to choose from throughout the week and there’s something for everyone. In addition to classes, they offer small group training and personal training. The community at LFW is so much fun and so supportive of your fitness goals! Highly recommend!!
Coach Szelli (E.V.): I love this place, the trainers and the members are really nice and supportive. It is different than a gym , there are only classes butworth to try this place. I am highly satisfied .

Jazzercise East Cary: what do users think?
Heather Carper: I started Jazzercise on a whim in November because of a package deal and I haven't stopped! Absolutely love it. The workout is fun and I have improved in my fitness, body composition, and ability to execute the moves. I love Jazzercise as an addition to my workout routine. I do wish there were more class times available, but I am glad for the ones that do work for my schedule. I routinely go to the 6am class led by Eva. Eva is absolutely amazing-- she leads a perfect class, she has high energy, she keeps the group engaged/makes it fun, and she has never been late or missed a class (which is so important when you show up at 6am!). This location is a great facility too-- it is bright, the floor is floating/easy to land on, mats & weights are supplied, and there are mirrors (I really like seeing myself getting better at the moves!). Tara is the owner and she is friendly, kind, and runs a great class! Cannot say enough great things-- highly recommend giving it a try!
Jenn Bejin: I love the smaller classee that felt like an instant community!
Angela Wright: An awesome way to get in shape!!!
Kathy Fussell: Tara and her team of instructors teach great classes!
Kathleen Perry: Positive:Communication,ProfessionalismI absolutely love this Jazzercise center! Tara and all the other instructors are so awesome, give good vibes, and always make you feel great after every workout! It’s more than a workout. Jazzercise is a community and we all care! I’m blessed daily to have Jazzercise in my life!
Sarah Stein: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityAs far as I'm concerned, East Cary Jazzercise saved my sanity for the pandemic year! And it's such a pleasure to be back in person--this studio and all of the instructors are wonderful. Fifteen years later, I'm still grateful every class!
Dianne Higgins: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityEast Cary Jazzercise provides classes that are fun, challenging, cater to all levels of fitness and incorporate a good variety of cardio, weights, great music and a full body workout. The instructors are top notch and each class is a positive and uplifting experience for body and mind. Highly recommend!
Rebecca Andrews: Twenty plus years ago I found Jazzercise and their amazing instructors. I've worked out with them in Clayton, Garner, Raleigh and currently attend classes in East Cary. No matter where you live or work, there's a special group that strives to be active, loves music, and enjoys dancing together. If you don't love your work out....it's time to try Jazzercise. Hope to see you on the dance floor!
Karen Brittain: Jazzercise has been there for me for the past 6 years (in July) including the pandemic! I love all of the instructors and have made so many great people through East Cary Jazzercise! I cannot wait until we are all able to jazzy in person again! Truly my favorite group of people!!!
megan atkinson: A fun way to spend 1 hour! More like a party, but all the while getting a fantastic workout! I highly recommend Jazzercise East Cary. Tara is so welcoming and energetic!
Deepali Sinha: The best place to workout!! It’s my Happy hour of the day 👌👌
Joan Romer: East Cary Jazzercise is a wonderful place to work out. All of the instructors are excellent and there are lots of choices of times and formats. The members are friendly and encouraging. If you want to develop an addiction to exercise, begin here.
Psalm Sebastian: The best and most fun workout you'll ever do. I have been coming to East Cary Jazzercise for almost 3 years and I don't see myself quitting ever. I drive from North Raleigh just to attend because all other workouts pale in comparison. Lovely, clean studio. Wonderful owner, instructors, and a great group of ladies. You won't regret giving it a chance!
Monika Shakinovsky: I have been going to East Cary Jazzercise for over 5 years now and love it! Tara is the best and the routines are always fun and easy to do. New routines are always added and I love the new Fusion Fridays.
Rosemary Lee: Jazzercise at East Cary is the best 1 hour workout in town! It's fun and you get both cardio and strength training in a friendly supportive environment. 5 stars!
Betty Lynn: Absolutely love the feeling I get after a workout here. I especially love the strength training and fusion classes. Everyone is friendly and welcoming, the instructors are all fantastic!
Susan Santos: Class offerings limited, class sizes crowded. Suggest the floor be marked for designated spots so newcomers don't get crowded out. Very nice management, territorial regulars.
Keisha Robinson: The first time I tried Jazzercise, I fell completely in love with it and would not trade this exercise class for the world. I was invited by two co-workers of mine, and I must say this was the best invite ever. I took some time off, due to me being a new mommy, but now I'm back in the swing of things. This is a full body workout class, where we dance, do resistance training, kickboxing and Pilates all in an hour's time. So I say to you, if you have not tried Jazzercise yet, please find the nearest studio to your residence and join this class. Not only is the class great, but the instructors are awesome as well.

O2 Fitness Raleigh - Falls of Neuse: what do users think?
Grace Mumpasi: Amazing place! Everyone was so nice and welcoming and the place itself was really clean and of high quality. I was given a tour by a front dest staff member named Louie and he was absolutely amazing. Great energy and very friendly!
Destiny Johnson: This is a great place to workout! Staff is always so friendly and super helpful. I never have to worry about parking and there are great spots nearby to get post workout meals!
Charlie Meyers: I have had a wonderful experience at this location. One of the biggest reasons I joined this gym is for the turf - it is always clean and the sleds are almost always available. The equipment throughout the gym is also very nice. A lot of treadmills and the weights are in great shape. It’s very well kept and the staff is always super kind offering a smile to everyone that comes through!
Anthony Isaacs: the staff is extremely nice!
Heather Olson: Roosevelt is awesome to work with as a trainer. He researched my chronic disease and designed fitness routines to work with it and not aggravate it. At my first session, I commented that I was out of shape and he said no, I am still a shape. There is no out of or in shape, just different shapes. That's when I knew I had found a great personal trainer!
Taylor Stallings: Nice gym and friendly staff. They just got all new equipment too which is nice.
Santana Wingate: Always enjoy the Atmosphere of the Gym!!
Paul Mikuta: O2 Falls of Neuse is great. Clean and very accommodating and friendly staff. Ray is amazing! The recent equipment upgrades have really improved strength training capabilities.
Joshua Fernandez: Great location and friendly staff
Fratdougal Family: This location is great. Everyone was friendly and helpful.
Alan Fratantuono: The gym is really clean, and the staff are helpful. The manager, Louie, is friendly and responsive.
ben anderson: Great gym
Griffin Bailey: O2 Fitness is genuinely one of the best gyms I’ve had experience at. The staff is always friendly, the machine selections are great, and even at peak hours I rarely have to wait for any machine at all! Couldn’t recommend a gym better than O2 fitness!
Charles Ferranti: Simon was very friendly and extremely attentive to the cleanliness and organization of the gym
Sharon Nelson: Great staff and lots of great equipment. 😊
Erin Binkley: Staff here is phenomenal. Kids club experience is awesome.
Rachel Tanzola: Great.
Joseph Baxter: I love this location, primarily for one big reason - Ray at the front desk. She is the main reason I decided to convert my free trial to a membership. She is a pure delight every morning. Greets me and my friends with a smile every day. Always a breath of fresh air. Thanks for being the best Ray!This specific facility is very nice too!
zotiyac: great place, been going for almost a year needs a location in wake forest
Daniel Poole: Great staff, phenomenal environment.
Mr. Everything: The whole facility and team are great.

O2 Fitness Raleigh - Creedmoor Road: what do users think?
DDE Happy: Clean friendly staff. Maggie is great. But closing a gym with 1 week notice is bad. Thank goodness my membership ends next month and I can go elsewhere. Hopefully another gym will move in their place.
Beckett London: Great gym! Sophia at the front desk does a fantastic job!!
Zachary Carpenter: I have to say, I’ve been a member of O2 for some years now. Although brennan has its pros (great equipment, crowd is never overwhelming, and staff is great), i can’t get over how much this location has gone downhill upkeep wise. The bathrooms by far are the must disgusting i have seen, and I’ve been to plenty gyms in the state and others as well. The mirrors haven’t been cleaned in near a month and it’s evident. The gunk on the floors continues to build along with dusty equipment. The showers haven’t been cleaned in enough time that last time i showered i immediately got out in disgust. And that was the only shower with soap in the dispenser.I also understand the pandemic halted a lot of things, but to pay for a gym that used to also offer towel service and still continues to use it as an excuse to not offer it…is ridiculous.if that were true, mask wearing would be mandatory. It’s a droplet virus, not contact only.I just feel very let down by this location and it’s the closest and most convenient for me. I wrote this only to hope that this location makes some improvements to upkeep and considers its loyal members feedback while implementing it as well. Those complaints aside, it’s a great gym and with a small effort to upkeep the simple things listed above, i feel more members would be enthusiastic to refer more potential members and keep current members from leaving as I’ve noticed in previous reviews.
Ann MacNeill: Positive:Professionalism,QualityHad a trial session and I have to say what an awesome trainer Josh is. He's incredibly professional, experienced and a pleasure to work with. The staff here are all very nice. If you try it out, I think you'll enjoy it too!Great location near lots of amenities as well.
Susanne Deacle: This is a well run gym. Management is highly effective and customer friendly.
Hatu Kanu: Positive:Professionalism,Quality
Austin Drake: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityMaggie the manager is very accommodating!! Good energy all around the space. Love stopping here when I’m in town
Andrew Chinnes: Great lifting equipment (plenty of free weights, squat racks, dumbbells, plate-loaded and stack machines, cable machines, etc. No power racks, though, which is a bummer if you’re wanting to do banded bar movements), lots of cardio equipment, nice locker rooms, and plenty spacious to spread out with whatever you’re doing.
Dwayne Leatherwood: The gym is great, but front desk girl could not have been more unfriendly.I left over a year ago because front desk staff was rude, nothing has changed there. Nice gym equipment.
Travis Stoker: I go here when I’m visiting occasionally but not my main O2. It is a great gym equipment wise! They really have everything you need here + plenty of space so you don’t feel crowded. BUT currently, and I think there were a few other reviews on here about this, the AC seems to be broken at the moment. I went on a hot winter day (as there are a few of in NC) and it was really uncomfortably hot. They have fans set up but it’s not enough. Also the area near the water fountains currently smells pretty bad, and it’s been like that for a while. I’m assuming from protein powder clogging a drain. Other than these things it’s a good gym but I wouldn’t like to work out here full time
Billie Edwards: I’ve been a member of O2 Fitness for 5 years and quit my membership today. During the winter months there was no heat and I never complained, just started my workouts in a hoodie until I warmed up. It was bearable but not anymore. There has been little to no A/C for months. I sent an email on June 15, 2021 in regard to the lack of a/c and stagnant air and fans were brought in. That was 38 days ago and still no working a/c. It is unbearable to work out under these conditions and corporate has done little to fix the problem. It was suggested to me to go to the Briar Creek location, I didn’t join O2 for the Briar Creek location! There are too many other gyms in the area to have to suffer this lack of a/c. I’ve had continuous 2 x week training during my membership. That’s a lot of money folks! Another lady came in and dropped her membership as I was leaving. It’s always the same response…we’re working on it! Nothing is being done! O2 has had months since reopening after Covid to fix this!!! You can see in the photo the units are not even operating. This is not a recent dilemma, but an ongoing one.Update: As of 8/18/21…still no a/c!!!Update: As of 11/19/21… I was told by a member still no HVAC working.
Bombzy: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityMaggie is amazing and so welcoming. The workout machines are professional and a real luxury gym! 5/5 stars across the board!
Veronica Jennings: Positive:Communication,ProfessionalismBryce is an excellent trainer, very professional and knowledgeable.
Jack McKeon: Positive:QualityI just started working out there for the first time and I like the facility. I like the people and my trainer, Bryce, is a cool guy. He makes training fun and I’m learning a lot about health and fitness. I high recommend this gym.
Iris Salswach: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality
Malcolm Nicol: Good vibes
Doug McKeon: I thoroughly enjoy working out at O2. The environment is friendly, and the staff is courteous and professional. The men’s locker room is well maintained. My personal trainer, Bryce, is both personable and adept during my workout, and I feel I’m achieving my goals in a fun, informative way. I highly recommend anyone looking for a gym membership to consider O2.
Christopher Nickerson: Positive:QualityHas everything we need in an gym
Sarah Rhodes: Positive:Quality

Kayla M: Great place for Trap aerobics and I’m sure the other gym services are awesome as well. Book a session and you will not be disappointed. The atmosphere is welcoming and the instructor is motivating!
Melissa Agosto: Loveeeee this place!!!
Christie Carter: Dante is a great trainer. I like how he adjusts the workouts so I'm not putting too much strain on my body but still pushes me to work hard. Even though it's a group setting I feel like I have my own personal trainer.
Giovanna Chiappe: Best personal gym hands down. If you are a newbie at working out, I highly recommend this place.

Crunch Fitness - Cameron Village: what do users think?
Thomas Lotrecchiano: Trash
Joelle Cirimele: Very friendly and honest team.
Alex Hoeber: Horrible. Just awful. In every way.
Rj Hall: Just moved back to NC after my Navy stint. Went ahead and signed up for the premium for the bring a friend benefit. Ended up having the pleasure of doing a fitness assessment with a trainer named Lucky. I knew I wouldn't be able to afford training sessions post move, but this man really helped me out in the span of 45 minutes. Even gave me stretches help alleviate my herniated L5-S1. Extremely personable and outgoing guy, I could tell he genuinely loves people and wants to help you reach your goals. If you need personal training, ask for Lucky!
Anthony Perfetto: Great staff! Very clean
Abba’s Child: This is the worst gym when it comes to valuing gym enthusiasts and members needing to utilize equipment and overall experience. Although the staff is wonderful and there is great personal training, I feel like we are not valued when it comes to our fitness needs and experience. The fan has been broken for months. There are several machines that are broken. The speakers at the HITT zone does not work and has been this way for months. I never see any maintenance on the machines. They just wait until the machines go down and then tell us after several months of waiting they will fix them. The promo 📺 TVs do not work at all. 😞🤦🏾‍♀️ The sad thing since the gym is so small, when a machine is down, it is really impactful.
Trevor Close: Recently moved to NC back in December and Crunch has been my favorite gym so far! Lots of free weights and machines along with a very welcoming environment
Jason Garris: Best gym in the Raleigh area! Has lots of equipment and space, AND kids care, tanning, and classes are all included in the membership! The staff is very friendly and inviting everytime I come in, and it the cleanliness is always on point!
Michael Vega: Great gym only issue is a lot of members don’t know proper gym etiquette
Leah McNear: If I could give them 0 stars I would. I was on a month to month membership and they refused to cancel it unless I physically came in the gym or sent a certified letter. When I told them I was unable to do that, the manager at the time was extremely nasty and instead of cancelling continued to go back and forth. I finally cancelled it with my credit card provider. They continued to call me weekly even though I stated that the account had been cancelled. This went on for a YEAR!! Now they have sent the account to collections. Im currently reporting them to the CFPB, BBB, their corporate office and writing reviews so future customer can know how unprofessional they are. Any decent business with customer service skills and decorum would have cancelled the membership upon request especially after the whole ordeal the previous manager put me through. I believe this shows how greedy a company they are. STAY AWAY - Planet Fitness and Anytime Fitness are much better options.
Brian Griffin: The gym has plenty of machines, dumbbells and benches for use, even during peak time. The staff is friendly and inviting when scanning in.My recommendation moving forward would be to clean around base of equipment. While the common areas are clean, the base of benches and machines are attractive for alot of dust/hair/etc. It's getting noticeable given the spring pollening
Njainah Olshinski: My son started membership on Aug, 2022 the first two month was okay, after that they charge us twice. When I called they said it was refunded already but it was never refunded so I disputed one of the charges, they keep chargeback us. It has been four months back and forth email the General Manager Garrett Plantier and no resolution. It seems like they have no intention to solve the problem and refund my money back.
Brittney Hunt: I’ve been to 4 gyms in Raleigh since I’ve moved in October. This is probably the best one I’ve been to so far. Everyone seems friendly and willing to help. It’s a nice space and CLEAN. But most importantly, you don’t have people bothering you during your workouts. Very pleased so far.
Stephanie Sammour: The worse gym management ever. When I joined a great staff that worked together. Had 2 premium memberships and 2 training packages because of the management who is not customer retail friendly at all no more. I have left many training behind the live has been stolen due to inadequate head strong management which I’m my view looking around why so many have left.
Chase Crihfield: ***Warning to people traveling*** I was told that I could not use the facility. The explanation for this was because it's not my home gym and even though I have the peak membership that is supposed to give me access to all 300+ crunch gyms. This gym is apparently "select" in who they let in.
Jeremy Engelman: This place is a "select" location. They will not allow the "basic" location members access without paying for a day pass or changing your home location to this facility. I pay for the top-level access at my apparently "basic location", but still not able to access this location without a day pass. I even contacted my "basic location," and they gave me a number that would allow me in this facility. At which the "manager" did not even look at and proceeded to tell me he is just the messenger. This man had no imagination and will not even try to see things from your prospective.I was allowed to work out for the day, (which was appreciated) and i assume to prevent a scene. This location actually has less to offer than 90% of the "basic" locations that I have gone to across the country. If you pay for access to this "select" club, you will be at best case paying the same for less gym and, worst case, you are paying more for less gymAlso if you talk to other crunch locations they have never heard of a Select location.
Zahra Elsayed: Great place but becomes very packed at times
Lamar Bierman: Experience has been great from the moment I walked in the door. Randy was great introducing me to the gym. Justin went above and beyond helping me with mobility and form in free intro session
FrozatoScotto Boston: The gym itself is nice, quality equipment, not too little or much of anything, but I’ll be honest, what has kept me here is the staff. Especially Tmoney (Trevor”) and Abigail (Abigail). In all seriousness, they treat you like you’re human and we’re all here to just better ourself. Every time someone walks in or out, Abigail knows them by name and treats time like she’s known them for years. The personality and energy she brings truly will keep people around. Trever might be the kindest person I’ve met inside of a gym, he’s never not in a good mood, even when I see him working out off the clock. The gym atmosphere in general is pleasant. It’s by a college so take that how you will.
Erik Bartholomaus: Lisha’s warm smile and professionalism are a real asset to this business! The gym was clean with up to date equipment. If I lived here I would definitely be a full-time member!
Alissa Barela: HORRIBLE!My husband first called to try to cancel membership and they said they would and then they kept charging my card!!! And then I emailed saying that my husband cancelled the membership a while back then I got an email back saying they have no record of us cancelling? We no longer live in an area where a crunch fitness is available and turns out we have to go in a sign a piece of paper which would’ve been freaking nice to know the first time we tried to cancel!Just as bad as planet fitness when it comes to cancelling a membership.

Fitness Connection: what do users think?
UnwiserStorm P: The customer service was great. But when I ordered a shake I didn't know I was getting thick ice cream that was hard to suck through a straw with thick Pieces of ice that wasn't blended well 😅
Brian Ellsmore: This gym is over crowded, humid, smells bad and the equipment you want to use is never available. Bench press? forget it. Sauna is dirty, locker room is crammed and overall just a horrible gym.
Rainer Zarzour: The customer service is terrible through this company. After requesting to cancel my membership they continued to charge me, and afterwards I called the online number to cancel again. After canceling my membership for the second time, the representative on the phone was disrespectful and hung up while I was mid sentence.
Carolina Shore Fishing: Good gym as far as most equipment goes. Pool and sauna have been RIP since 2019 although they advertise these as amenities of the gym. It's been 4 years they've been saying it'll get fixed. Turf room is getting overcrowded quick with random stuff. Needs organizing and lot of random cardio equipment removed from. They stopped giving towels out with memberships which is pretty dumb too.
Elizabeth Seyoum: This place is getting real down, no swimming poole, no steam, no jacuzi, overall the worst custumer service.
Adam Lindsey: I have Gym Pass thru my job and come here or the one in RTP often. Today one guy behind the desk gave me a hard time. Saying it was showing up as a week pass. I think all their employees don’t have the knowledge of how Gym Pass works. I was embarrassed and he kept me up there in front of ppl like I was trying to sneak into the gym
UNC23: 22 years and counting of working out...Fitness Connection may be my favorite gym! The price and space are second to none. IMO Hammer Strength equipment is the best ever made. Tried and true. The variety in the free weight area is tremendous!Clean locker/bathroom. The lady working the front desk in the morning is pleasant & welcoming! Happy to be part of the FC fam!!
Rachel Ertel: Gym is fine some of the year but has horrible airflow and is VERY humid and miserable in the warm months. I’ve never been so uncomfortable in a gym in the summer before and they don’t seem to want to fix it. Sucks because they have the right equipment and a great location but the heat just ruins my workouts
Austin Jones: It's dirty and disorganized but it's cheap and well equipped.
Deric Privette: Decent gym. A lot of the equipment is out of order quite frequently. Only thing keeping me there honestly is the 10$ a month membership fee. If another gym opens with heavy free weights and equal pricing then I'm out.
lindsy Foxx: Dirty VERY DIRTY. Gym equipment is dangerous and old and the some of the new equipment is cheap and not commercial grade and will result in injury if not careful. The bathrooms are DISGUSTING and the smell is bad. This gym was BEAUTIFUL 10 years ago when it was Golds Gym. Very well kept always clean and spotless and came with great amenities and solid equipment but it required a semi more expensive membership but it was well worth the money for the value and service. It had been a while since I’ve been because of how bad it got once Fitness Connections took over and Golds sadly had to give it up. All the members left after they lowered the cost and of course when that happened a different breed of people flocked in. $10 a month also comes with laying off staff, not cleaning and no maintenance, no personal trainers, horrid selection of clothes and energy drinks, and no good group classes….also my keys were stolen and my locker was broken into. Not only that they broke into my car and took money out and left my keys on top. This place is set to fail and is the only one left as the other locations have all closed…go figure. Your welcome
basma hamzah: It’s good
Rob Moore: This place has all the equipment I need and I prefer going to this one as opposed to the one in Durham. Sure the plates are scattered at times but that’s really the patrons fault for being too lazy to put them back. It’s just gym etiquette.
Alexandria Ethridge: I get it. It’s a $10 gym so for me im not expecting excellence BUT when I go, 80%+ of the treadmills downstairs are broken. I’ve literally hoped from one to another down 5 or 6 at one point before finding one that worked. I’ve walked there before and had it randomly closed to staffing issues with no email, text, or online notice at all. The women’s area is a joke and now they offer “premium membership” for an area when their equipment in the women’s area is slim and/or broken and the upstairs is overtaken by high schoolers and meatheads. They send out a survey and I’ve placed all this in multiple times in hopes that something:anything is done to improve it with no prevail but maybe a public review will have more meaning? Also, there is no pool. That NEVER returned if it was actually ever available before 2020 and no clarification or explanation on that was ever offered
Attila Didek: People complaining ,this is what $10 buy you.I go there in the morning, people are respectful, kind and WORKING OUT.It does get crowded in the evening so I decided not to go then. Guess what other " high end" gyms get the same way Gym culture will remain the same. Some go to socialize and some to work out. I believe to support this club and believe that It'll Improve over time.Especially when everything gets built up around It .Hopefully They raise the membership to $20 so They have reserves to Improve. Some to meet people's expectations.
Luke: Great gym to workout and exercise. Can get crowded sometimes in the evenings, but that comes with the territory.
Lincoln Doan: Worst and goofiest gym in the area. The members here have no respect for each other or the gym equipment. Get a membership here to workout in a pig pen. 2 stars for the price.
Thomas (No-BS-CMT): A bit run down but a great price and place to work out
James The Just: it's funny to see ppl complaining about a gym that's $10/month 😂 Theres literally 14 squat racks! 🙌🏻 and yeah when it's cheap you get ppl that aren't experts but think they are, & guess what? things break, just like the $10/month is breaking your bank acccount 🤦🏻‍♂️....and yep it's busy, your talking about a cheap gym in one of the most popular areas of the capitol city of NC...theres obviously more going on in someones life when they take time to leave a negative review for a $10/month gym as if it's going to initiate major change....release your issues another way & heal, then leave a realistic review with some context. 🙏🏻
Isaiah Gonzalez: This gym is going downwards, everyone is in the way with their tripods, no etiquette in manners, while others are hogging the machines, during busy times. And gym goers show no gym etiquette for others around them, or care to put their weights back. For $10 that is the crowd you attract. The equipment I would rate the cleanliness around a 5. There are better gyms around. I reached out to management and they failed to respond accordingly, I am glad I had cancelled my membership.
Alexis Moore: In addition to my previous review, even though we’re post COVID, I find it shocking how this gym can’t find it in they’re budget to give each member some space in between tredmills and all equipment. Everything is slammed directly beside one another and gives members absolutely no space to have a comfortable workout without another member hovering right on top of another. Also the steam room has been broken since January 2022 and beyond and it is now January 2023. Member can’t even enjoy what we pay for on a monthly basis. Wouldn’t waste your money or time here. There are plenty other gyms that are spacious and have all member equipment properly functioning.
