Steven DeYoung: Shoutout to Dequon Harris at this U-Haul location! He didn’t expect me to lift a finger, even though I was more than willing to help connect the 6’ x 12’ trailer I had on reservation. Dequon explained everything clearly, patiently walked me through the process, and brightened my day with this extremely fast and efficient experience. Thanks, man!
David Forrest: With all the negative reviews, I had hesitation about renting from this location. That said I took the chance, and I’m glad I did! The people were very nice, there was no issue with miss quoting rates or anything like that as referenced in some of the other reviews, and they pick up and drop off process was painless. I could not ask for a better experience and, due to having multiple properties that I own, I would likely be renting vans and trailers again!
Haley Finn: Paid for a dolly and it was not available. Check engine oil light was on the entire time, so it would not let me see the mileage. Van REEKED TERRIBLY of cigarettes. Lots of scuff marks already existing on vehicle. TERRIBLE customer service. The 2 employees working did not look up from their phones when I Came in until I cleared my throat and they acted as if I was bothering them. Absolute worst service and will never return.

(This was reported to police and they have been arrested)The manager at the store didn't check my photo ID or the picture on my debit card that the scammer used, and now U-Haul is SUING me! This store is refusing to help me and the manager is extremely defensive and unprofessional, hung up on me 3x and refused to give me her name when she is the one who did not check photo ID and made the stolen vehicle claim.

There was a customer loading up a tank ahead of me. He explained that he had already been to the one downtown and reported there was a leak in their system. He also reported there was no one qualified to fill a tank at the outside beltline location. Complete fail.Weak sauce.

He say, “safety, due to static friction.” The only believable explanation is laziness. If you’re looking for a good customer service experience, you should avoid the store.
Steve King: My experience with this store was excellent. I needed to rent an enclosed 6x12 trailer and thought I reserved one on the website. By mistake, I had selected a 'utility' (open) trailer and not the enclosed one.None was available, but Ms. Rodnai Drew went out of her way to get parts needed to get an out-of-service trailer working, so that I had a trailer to rent, without having to scramble and find another trailer at a different location. Then was asked for another reservation, then was told "I don't know when it will be available" multiple times in a row. When finally given one, it already was occupied with someone else's stuff!!!! After moving everything out, the moving truck did not have enough room to carry everything. We requested a vehicle, they told me "none were available, they're reserved". When asked when the next reservation will be available, they repeated that they do not know. They flat out refused to let us rent a vehicle. There we're multiple vehicles on the lot. There were so many more issues. DO NOT USE THIS UHAUL!!!!!
Md Nazmul Hasan Bhuyan: The lady over there asked me to leave the key in the truck to let her check me out at a later time and she promised me to provide return confirmation via email by the day end. I did not receive any email and visited the store again the next day to get an update. She started claiming that I did not leave the key in the truck and, thus, she could not check me out. She also asked me to pay for the key if I do not have it. Even though I repeatedly told her that I left the key in the truck, she was not ready to accept it. I then retrieved the key right from the same truck. She then check me out without any sign of remorse or a simple "Sorry".

Was told that someone would be out to fill it. Went outside, finally saw a different employee after another 10 mins. She told me to get someone else, who told me she couldn’t do it bc she was ‘in training and didn’t know how’…. Went back to only employee who seemed to know anything. They told other employee to get a certain person and tell them I need propane…. Finally, that employee came out and said there was a hole in the propane line and they couldn’t fill it….?? Oh, and I’d need to drive to the next closest Uhaul to fill it. Total waste of time, with my 3 yr old to keep entertained the whole tome. Avoid this place at all costs.
Elaina Espinosa: GO TO PUBLIC STORAGE.Moving is already stressful , and this location has made it 1000x times worse. I work remotely and decided to work abroad for a couple of months. I got a storage unit here as a one month free was offered. I return and try and enter my storage unit for the first time… and the key does not even enter the lock. I go to the front to ask for assistance and they told me that this sometimes happens and I’ll have to get a lock smith. There is nothing they can do… I HAD TO PY FOR A LOCKSMITH FOR A KEY AND LOCK THEY PROVIDED. The manager here is unprofessional and downright useless. Save your money, time, and headaches.

Ariana Yu: I love enterprise but this particular store is run by a power hungry tiny man named Jorge. I misunderstood the price of the car and when I called and explained the situation his employee told me there was something he could do but wouldn't. Then put me on hold. I waited for the manager (Jorge) to get on the phone. After being on hold for another 10 minutes and being told there was something they could do but wouldn't I got extremely agitated. I asked for the customer service number and he gave me the tech support number for their office. He refused to give me his last name to call customer service. I went to the store to get the number where he told me that he wouldn't adjust the price because I'm rude. I called customer service while sitting in the waiting room and they refunded me for the extra money. It is so unnecessary that I had to go through all these steps over a misunderstanding. I will not return to this particular enterprise solely because it is managed by the tiny power hungey man named Jorge with no last name. Yes, Jorge people get rude when you treat them as dollar signs instead of human beings.

After experiencing a fender bender here in the great south with wildlife amongst us, AAA Insurance scheduled me for a Priority Pass Appointment on a Monday morning. I was initially scheduled for a pick up from John's collision office but the owner knew how busy enterprise was and decided to drive me and another customer over. Susan assisted me and reviewed what models were in stock. I initially requested a Nissan Sentra or Dodge Charger Sedan. I also confirmed with her that I wanted to stay within my policy's daily allowance. She showed me a 2023 Mazda CX5. I found the vehicle too large for my needs and asked to see other options. I decided on a electric blue 2021 Ford EcosportCompact SUV. I love a fuel efficient vehicle, so this was perfect for my needs. The car smelled new, did not have cigarette odor and the entire was spotless. I enjoyed the keyless entry, Automatic engine shut off, cap free gas tank, comfortable stain free seats, amazing fuel economy where $30 fills up the tank. The collision shop originally promised the repair would be only a few days but I had the car for over a week's time. I am not a fan of FORD but I really enjoyed my EcoSport. When it came time to return the vehicle Josh was wonderful and assisted me with the return. Caesar drove me back over to John's Collision and I was on the road again.The customer service at Enterprise is unmatched. I will definitely return for my rental car needs. Prices are affordable and the selection of vehicles was spot on for me.

I’ve rented from numerous locations dozens of times with no issues but for whatever reason this location decided to be predatory with how they handled my rentals. Due to my work I require a rental car that is covered by my company. For my protection I video record each rental inspection.Upon returning the vehicle, Enterprise tried to charge me for a cigarette smell and dirty vehicle. Thankfully I had evidence this was not the case and that this issue was on them. They tried to push the issue and were proven wrong.Another time they attempted to charge me for a ding on the vehicle that was already there when I rented and the paperwork proved them wrong. Maybe this is why they have attempted to push their insurance when I rent. After these interactions I have decided that I am much safer and much more welcome at the Apex location or any other location.As a customer who used to rent weekly from Enterprise, the experience at this location made me use other rental services

Ami Bright Barrios: I went to this location with a reservation from my insurance company. I received an email in the morning to start the check in process and one saying they would call me within an hour. I did not receive a call from them. I showed up before close of business. I was informed they had no inventory. The representative did not apologize for not being able to accommodate the request- she did not even make eye contact. She simply stated that the insurance did not send over the date when I needed the car. I retorted that was odd, because the car is not safe to drive, they had to tow it and the insurance sent it to a body shop. I told her that did sound right and also said had they called me this morning like they were supposed to this could have been rectified. She provided me with the numbers of 2 other locations & said she could not help & call around to find me a vehicle. It was my responsibility. I expressed frustration and stated this was poor customer service- 1st they didn’t call, 2nd they claimed it was a problem with the insurance, 3rd they couldn’t accommodate me until Friday and were unwilling to help me find a location with a car, & had they called I could have been working on this all day. As it was now, it was an hour before closing - if people had inventory I was likely to be in the same situation and pressed for time. I wanted to speak to the manager- she was the manager. I said well- what’s your bosses name- I want to make a complaint. She refused to provide me with the number for her manager. She argued that they had tried to call but the line was busy- I retorted- it’s a cell phone ma’-am there’s no ringing busy and I have no missed calls or messages. I called the other two places she gave me there at the counter- because they have no other tables or chairs & I had no where to go. When those 2 also had anything I asked her for other locations. She refused to provide me with the numbers- stating it was the week before the 4th of July and no one was going to have anything & my expectation was unreasonable. Again, during this conversation she did not make eye contact- she was typing on her computer. Her affect was that she was completely disengaged from the conversation and I empathetic. She told me to have a nice a day as I walked out. I turned and told her she needed to return to customer service training. That when you are unable to provide a service & someone is clearly frustrated you don’t say have a nice day- you say I’m sorry we weren’t able to help you this time. Or that there was a miscommunication (according to her there was between them and the insurance), or I hope your day gets better. But have a nice day is the last thing a person wants to hear in a situation where your company is not willing to help find a resolution or provide a service. I turned to leave and what does she say again- have a nice day! I turned and said “again with the (insert exploitive) have a nice day- just say bye or nothing.” I complained to my insurance company- who spoke with the manager- they refused to provide me service. I did nothing. I did not yell, I did not curse at her, I simply called her on inconsistencies & poor customer services. But apparently you cannot confront someone or expect better customer service from a company because you will be labeled as difficult, rude and confrontational. I called a few more enterprises- the one at RDU is awesome and has great customer service. The one at State st in Raleigh as well. The others, were not rude- just tones of the calls left a lot to be desired and weren’t as helpful. I don’t think that’s enough to save me as a customer for enterprise though. Use this location as long as you don’t mind people not making eye contact with you during your interaction, multitasking during your conversation, providing you with sub par help when their communication systems break down. Their infrastructure doesn’t allow them to see others inventory, & the employees are too busy to help you find a vehicle if they don’t have it- because it’s simply not their problem.

Have rented from them before with NO ISSUES. However the crew working Saturday 6/24/2023 were awful and did even attempt to help find a solution or even offer an upgrade.

Vicky Jenkins: We rented a U-haul trailer on February 27, 2021 and had a wonderful experience working with Arica and Jonathan. Receiving excellent customer service in the 21st century is a huge deal. I must say that Arica & Jonathan provided one of the best customer service experiences I have had. They provided timely professional service as their goal was to ensure we were able to handle our business at hand. Unknown to us, a fuse on our truck was out, but Arica and Jonathan worked well as a team to locate and fix the problem. We were grateful to God for their stellar work ethic.

The first vehicle I received had the annoying smell of smoky marijuana that wouldn't go away....no matter what I did to neutralize the smell. Last December, we booked a 15 seat passenger car and they confirmed us but when we went to pickup the car, there wasn’t any 15 seat or 7 seats car. They offered us 3 cars with 5 seats which was impossible because we didn’t have 3 drivers. They should take this matter seriously and only take the reservation when the cars are available

Dexter Mitchell: This organization is chaotic and unorganized. First as a president circle member I wouldn’t expect to stand in line for over an hour in the sun to wait for a car, but I did. Then as we waited then gentleman that was directing traffic for our line would sit there and belittle customers that would walk up an d tell them to get to the back of his line. Every car that pulled up was not clean. The car that came up as it was my turn was not the sedan I requested and when I let the man know he said I can go stand at the end of his line and try again or take the car.The car was filthy, back up camera was broken(which the next day I took time to reset it) and a huge crack in the windshield.After driving the car to the check out gate it was found their system was down so I got no papers for my car and all they did was write my name on a scratch sheet and sent me on my way.Driving the car on the highway was not the best experience as the undercarriage felt like something major was loose and would fall apart.I called every number I could find to call the store to tell them these issues. Surprise, there is no direct store number. So I emailed their operations manager and was told I had the choice of bringing that car back, or keeping it and they would add points to my account. I kept the car because I was at a location almost two hours away and I was just not gonna drive that much, but they never added any points to my account.When I returned the car on my turn in day, I tried to tell the woman that was accepting cars the problems I had with the car so it was documented, her response was “this ain’t my job” and she walked away from me. Fair enough….I got another call from the operations manager and told her about that and again she said points would be added to my account, yet no points are shown. Weird.This store is a mess, use Avis or enterprise, save yourself the headache

Now I'm standing in line with 25 other customers waiting on service (both Hertz and Dollar/Thrifty.)Also, upon being picked up at the airport, the driver decided it was a good idea to start driving before I had completely sat in my seat and I nearly broke my head on the pole on the edge of the seat.. I think it's worth suggesting that he/she confirm people are ready before they take off. It could have been really bad.After waiting for an hour in line with the other 25 customers they pull up my reservation and send me right out the door to my car because of course I was pre-checked in.
Christopher Wuelper: Customer Service at this location is horrendous, my wife was told to go wait in line outside for her vehicle to be pulled up which took 45 mins in the heat and humidity (no water provided), we had rented a standard size suv Hertz pulled up a Subaru Forester and told her that was her car which is not even close to a Standard size SUV, the gentlemen that pulled up the SUV unhelpful, zero instruction on how anything works, tried calling Hertz 800 number for assistance they outsource it and they are completely unhelpful and give off the attitude they could care less. Save yourself time and aggravation and go elsewhere.

Van smells like an ashtray in the worst you club you visited in your early 20’s. Took almost an hour to get out of the parking lot because only one lane open to exit on a Saturday afternoon in July. Worst service I have experienced in a long time.

Shelley Edwards: Absolutely abysmal on the scale of efficiency, service, and delivery. After waiting in line for 45 minutes (the line was not long), I finally got the paperwork executed for my pre-arranged rental (what happened to the “Easy, fast pickup” gimmick?? Several of us in line had the same question). Then, we were all dismissed to the parking lot to “go pick whatever midsize SUV I wanted.” Well, there were no cars. None. For 30 mins, with zero staff around, I wandered about and stood around with the other customers piling up around the empty lanes. A car or two were pulled up by staff but, no—not these. These were not for pickup. It grew into an “every man for himself” scenario pretty quickly, when available cars did show up. Slim pickings. I was supposed to get a “Jeep Cherokee or comparable,” and ended up with a Nissan Rogue (NOT comparable) after 40 mins of growing desperation. The guy next to me was visibly angry I “snatched” up this vehicle, as other customers were, since there was ZERO customer support on the lot to facilitate pickups. The only staff were runners, and they definitely dropped the cars and ran, not wanting to get involved in helping anyone.Then, it took another half hour to get through the long exit line. One line was stopped forever—there was obviously an issue—but the staff’s response was to just not take any corrective action at all.Very little of this poor experience was attributed to the failure of any one individual. Some could have been quicker or taken initiative, but, overall, this comedy of errors represents a failure to manage this location properly. Not just manage it well; not even properly. It was utter dysfunction on every facet.Not ever using Hertz again. Sending this to corporate.

I really thought I would be offered some sort of coupon to return so they could prove they do care about their customers, their reputation and take responsibility when they mess up and don't honor a reservation. NOPE, Enterprise, at least at this location, does not care. Jasmine won't honor reservations, and wont try to help a customer when they cause damage. Alec Clevenger: Recently I rented a car for two days from the downtown Raleigh location. The rental and damage waiver were very affordable, and the pick-up and drop-off processes were quick and straightforward. They didn't have available the category of car I had reserved. But fortunately they did have some good options including something 'better' than what I had reserved but at the same rental rate, so all in all it wasn't a problem. The folks who helped me were very nice and knowledgeable, and the location is convenient for me. I'll be returning next time I want to rent a car. Thanks!

They were completely unhelpful and couldn't find ANY cars available within a 50 mile radius! They told me "this happens all the time." Second they gave us a car with all balled tires, smelled of nasty smoke, yet it states no smoking and we were driving out of state. Then we had to go to the airport and trade with a different reliable available vehicle. The gas wasn't full on 1st vehicle, yet were told to return it full. After traveling over 8 hrs, stuck in traffic, received an attitude because we returned the vehicle several minutes before 6. This is not a way to get business at all.
