Manfred Wise: I bought a rather expensive BRAND NEW pistol from these guys. When I opened it after I got home, the top of the barrel was extremely worn and I swear it didnt look like that when I checked it in store. Maybe thats why they were in the back for so long. Not sure what happpened, but they shouldnt have sold the gun like that. Barrel looks used, while the rest of the gun looks new. I live a couple hours away so it's not like I can go right back. I'll go straight to sig to see if I can get it remedied. I'll never go back. That's just shady.

Katy Willett: My son wanted me to practice using my gun. So off we went. The place is an interesting mix of people who are really, really into guns and complete novices such as myself. Happily son is a member, because on Saturday afternoons there is a long line of people waiting and members have a priority line. The place is very busy on Saturdays and could use more sales people. The gun range person was very helpful with showing me proper grip techniques. If you are new, be prepared for the smell (sort of a mix of car and fireworks smell) and the loudness (even with ear cover a gentleman was renting a very loud subsonic gun). My ammunition was very reasonably priced.

Trae Hinton “TH1NTON”: Update: the owner reached out and resolved the issue so changing to 5* triangle is a nice facility but this situation I had to bring to their attentionI was just at triangle earlier this evening around 17:10 est to check out a couple guns. As I was leaving there was a group of guys a few had been there a bit earlier and one guy showed up late. I know the rules are the last shooters will be taken an hour before the range closes but who ever the range safety officer was at the front desk that was yelling at them that they couldn’t shoot your behavior completely abhorrent and I would never step foot back in this establishment again. He wasn’t ever speaking to me and I felt uncomfortable. I saw the gentlemen outside and recommended a different range. The level of customer service provided by that RSO was abysmal, if you’re going to speak to people for being late like that to come shoot how do you expect me to trust you on the range.

Daniel C: Went to Triangle Shooting academy to purchase 1000rds of 9mm and Holosun 507k. They were out of stock on the Holosun but had the 9mm. So then I grabbed a box of 1000rds of 9mm for 350$ and headed to the closest register. I stood there for 10mins waiting on someone to check me out or even speak to me. No one ever did speak to me until I was walking to put the ammunition back. I had already made up my mind that I wasn’t purchasing 1000rds of 9mm after the wait. I’d rather drive back to my home town and spend my money at the gun shop that I was loyal to, it’s an hour away than deal with with type of customer service. This was around 8pm on Tuesday May 9th. So they were not very busy however there seemed to be 3 employees admiring a ghost grey/blue used firearm(Barret Rec 7 I believe), but couldn’t take the time to speak to me or check me out. If everything was in stock k and I received even decent customer service I would have spent over 600$ tonight, I left empty handed.

Just_The_Fax: TSA offers a huge selection of guns for sale and rent. They also have one of the larger selection of NFA items in stock which is also nice. The range staff is very professional but if you plan to go shooting on the weekend get there early because they get busy quick. Accessories prices are very competitive with what you can find online and they have a very large selection, but ammo prices are on the high side.

Scott Huffman: Its a nice place and all but absolutely not worth the price. They are 40%-60% more than anywhere else for the exact same fishing lures, tackle boxes, fishing line, tools & accessories, etc.... for example, they sell a brand of fishing tools that I have never heard of that apparently put more thought and effort into fancy packaging to deceive consumers than they put into the products themselves, which are obviously just rebranded Shakespere Ugly Stik tools with hard pvc handles that will become very slick when wet & a single pair of pliers is $80+tax. No thanks, my social status among boneheads in squatting trucks does not matter so much that I will spend 4x as much for a box and a bag that says Cabela's... not gonna happen.**Edit** Cabela's why are you suggesting retraining the employees at the store? They did a beautiful job, even though they didn't have a press, affixed the site. and provided excellent workmanship. If I ever need work done on my handguns, they'll be the first ones I call.

Timucin Wolfe: Exceptional training and gunsmithing. I have attended the long distance shooting course several times as I use it as part preparation for my annual hunt in Montana. You will typically spend about 30 minutes of instruction for every 60-75 minutes of shooting. Not a single shot is wasted. You will gather and record data after every shot.Recommendations for attending:-Read the whitepaper.You will receive some recommended reading a few weeks before class. It is a 16-page PDF that will get you really smart on MRAD and MOA.-Hearing protection.Most rifles at this range will have a muzzle brake. While brakes reduce recoil, they make the report much louder. Bring some good electronic muffs.-Bring a bolt gun.Gas guns do OK on this range, but bolt guns significantly outperform beyond 800 yards.-A good rifle scope is crucial.Magnification is not that important. Good glass and reticle are more important. A 3-18x power is fine for this range. MOA or MRAD, your choice. FFP highly recommended but not required.-Quality match grade ammo.Bring the highest quality ammo within reach (price, availability). You will typically spend about $2/round and up for match grade ammo. S&B Soft Point will likely frustrate you. Quality ammo is crucial for this range.-.223/5.56 will not cut it at this range.Bring it if you want to get a good zero and data out to maybe 800 yards from your AR or varmint bolt. You will want a higher caliber for the longer distances (up 1300 yards).-Take the rental option.Even if you have a bolt gun, take the rental option if it is your first time taking a long range precision shooting class. PMA rentals are of the highest quality and match-ready. Ammo is included with the rental. When cost of ammo is factored-in, the actual cost of renting a very high-quality scoped rifle is negligible.-Bring pen and notebook to write on.Spiral-bound 4x3 ruled index cards work best for me for field notes. Waterproof is even better. If you take the rental option, this and hearing protection is all you need to bring (and some snacks).-There will be plenty of water, shooting mats, all shapes and sizes of shooting bags, and plenty of spotting scopes and folding chairs. I would say the only hard pre-requisite is command of range and gun safety as well as a general comfort with rifles. Other than that, the less you know about long-range shooting the more you have to gain from the instruction.Summary:Range:• Drive in is a little torn up right now so bring the AWD or 4WD vehicle with ground clearance• Targets ranging from 100 to 1300+ yards if you pay attention, you will hit them all• Make sure you dress for the weather; the wind can whip and you will freeze on a cold day!Instruction:• The most important part – Brian spends time ensure you have a grasp of the theory which is fundamental to really being able to apply what you learn fully. You could just skip straight to the kestrel and call it a day but when you go home you would be missing the why to translate the information to different conditions or equipment.• Instruction assumes solid gun safety fundamentals and general understanding of a rifle• Well-structured in a “crawl, walk, run” sort of approach. You’ll spend time getting familiar with the equipment, progressing through the mid-range targets and learning to make adjustments and then progress to long range• Spotting is equally important as shooting to help learn the physical effects at long range, make sure you commit to doing this• Ask questions! You are in the class to learn, if you already knew everything you wouldn’t have signed up so get your money’s worthEquipment:• I’ll probably never shoot a better gun or scope then the rental equipment provided by Pilot Mountain.Two recommendations for Brian and the team:Day 1 spend a few minutes to review the different reticle designs to make sure everyone is on the same page with what they are seeing. This dovetails with the mills vs MOA conversation in my mindA camera or something similar on the targets in the woods would really help with application of the ideas learned in the course. Estoy escribiendo esta reseña con la esperanza de que otro cliente no se sienta decepcionado y pueda usarse como una herramienta de aprendizaje para el servicio al cliente.El fin de semana del 18 de febrero fui a casa de Perry buscando el Judge Taurus o el Smith and Wesson. La pistola no estaba en stock, pero se ofreció a encargarla. Personalmente, me gusta sostener un arma antes de comprar, así que rechacé la oferta para ordenar. Además, podría hacer un pedido EN LÍNEA de Palmetto o directamente de Smith and Wesson, enviarlo a un distribuidor local. Prefiero comprar en una armería local para apoyar a la pequeña empresa. El vendedor fue amable y presentó un gobernador de S&W. Me convencí del Gobernador tan pronto como lo sostuve, es un verso de 6 tiros 5, tiene 3 tipos diferentes de munición 45 potros, 45ACP y 410 proyectiles de 2,5". Pregunté por la munición y compré el Gobernador en el acto. Cuando concluimos la transacción, el asociado de ventas fue a la parte de atrás, puso sus manos en una caja de cartuchos de autodefensa 410 e hizo un comentario que SOLO se venden a las personas que compran el arma. Puso mi nombre en la caja y la escondió. sabiendo que regresaría el próximo fin de semana (tuve que esperar mi permiso antes de recoger la pistola) Bueno, volví el próximo fin de semana para recoger la pistola junto con la munición solo para que me dijeran la munición escondida, con mi nombre en ¡Había sido VENDIDO! ¡Si me hubieran dicho que debería comprar los cartuchos 410, entonces lo haría, con mucho gusto! PERO, confiaba en que estaría disponible. Además, después de comprar una pistola de $ 800.00, ¡otros $ 35.00 fueron un cambio tonto! Trató de hacerlo bien , me dio una caja gratis de 45's que realmente aprecié. Llego a casa, abro la caja y faltaban 8 rondas de t él box :( ¡No hace falta decir que estoy decepcionado con mi armería local! Mi principal objetivo es apoyar a nuestros negocios LOCALES. Espero que esta crítica sirva más para un propósito que para mí ser negativo. Espero recibir una llamada de Perry pronto para decirme que los proyectiles 410 están nuevamente en stock :) Ya veremos.

James Pete: Was really looking forward to visiting this shop but that all changed once I got there. It didn't seem like a very inviting place. If you don't look like them or their carbon copy patrons then you will get stared at the entire time you're there. Someone finally asked if I needed help but as soon as I mentioned I was just browsing they acted like they could care less. Also, the younger blonde haired girl working the cash register, seemed as if she thought she was better than everyone else so needless to say she wasn't very friendly either. Long story short, I've seen better prices and I would advise finding another gun shop.

Ronald Brown: I think this is a nice shop never been just call to ask about 270 bullet and this old guy pick up not very friendly maybe ill go to Fuquay where they take care if you as a costumer

I try to support local shops but couldn't find what I wanted. When I came across this store online, I placed the order.When shopping for a firearm in the future, I will definitely keep them in mind.

J 5106 “Fiber Guy”: First I want to say that I hope Perry’s continues to be successful. However it’s really disappointing to enter a place of business and none of the staff acknowledges your presence. Well, almost one young lady did say hi, but none of the men behind the counters even acknowledged my presence in the store. Wouldn’t have been odd except my wife and I were the only customers in the store. Now I know things in the shooting world are hard to find now, so I was glad to pay $55 for a lb of powder. Imagine my surprise when I found the exact same powder at a gun store in the next town for $40 and the staff was friendly and helpful. Maybe the staff at Perry was having a bad day, I know working on a holiday is a bummer, and profits must be made. But, I really think y’all can do better. Thanks and I hope you’re in business for decades to come.

Mr Buffaluffagus: Reading through the negative reviews it's clear that you can't make some people happy no matter what you do and they're just going to complain. The atmosphere at Perry's can be as hands off and non-pressuring as you want it to be, or it can be as involved and interactive as you want it to be. You get out of your experience what you put in it. Some people want to be left alone so they can browse, and some want to have their hand held immediately. You can have it however you want it. Nowhere is perfect but Perry's is about as close as you'll come. Just pull up a seat for a while and it won't take long listening to the conversations to realize that alot of folks drive quite a long distance to visit 'the' Perry's Gun Shop they've heard so much about. Yeah, they are sticklers for following the law and they're not going to sell a gun to everyone that walks thru the doors, but that's not their fault. Anyway, Perry's is A+ in my book. I'm sure if you have a different experience it is something that can be easily resolved by simply talking to someone at the store instead of resorting to being a keyboard warrior and complaining. If you complain though because they followed a law or a policy that it posted for you to see before you buy, then I guess you just can't be pleased.

Gary T.: Fecha de compra: 26 de mayo de 2022Les daría a estos chicos 6 estrellas si pudiera. Compré un G26 G3 en Gun Broker de Perry's Gun Shop Inc. Tardé una semana en recibir el arma. Esto se debió a que proporcioné una copia de mis titulares FFL y un fin de semana festivo. Enviaron UPS 2nd day air desde NC y lo tuve en SD 2 días después. La pistola era exactamente como se describe. El proceso fue fácil y se comunicaron bien. Durante el curso de esta compra, envié 3 correos electrónicos y todos fueron respondidos dentro de los 30 minutos posteriores al envío. Al menos una consulta fue después del horario comercial. En conclusión, ¡me impresionó su nivel de servicio al cliente! Si mis antojos me abruman y siempre lo hacen... Volvería a comprarles a estos muchachos en un segundo de Nueva York.Anexo: Según Glock, esta pistola se fabricó el 21.05.2021 en Austria. La llevé al campo de tiro y se desempeña como una Glock.

M B: Hace unos años compré un 380 niquelado. Por alrededor de $250.00. Fui a practicar tiro al blanco con él y adivinen qué no hizo nada en absoluto, no dispararía ni un solo tiro. Así que intenté devolver el 380 y adivina qué. Perrys no me devolvió mi dinero. Así que me hicieron usar un crédito tonto de la tienda para comprar otra arma. Y fíjate que traje esa pistola al día siguiente cuando descubrí que no funcionaba. Para resumir, compré un arma nueva y seguí mi negocio. Regresé a Perrys 3 días después para comprar un rifle de caza y me dijeron que tenía que usar uno de mis permisos emitidos por el gobierno para comprar ese rifle 🤔. Así lo hice y mientras salía de Perrys, miré hacia abajo en esa vitrina que tenían y vi ese mismo 380 a la venta que me vendieron anteriormente en esa vitrina.🧐. Cuidado con la tienda de armas de Perry, me estafaron con mi dinero y estoy bastante seguro de que tienen a alguien más con la misma estafa. Nunca les compraría. si valoras tu dinero duramente ganado. Tenía que sacarme esto del pecho esta mañana. Odio ser estafado.
