Michael Shauberger: Really nice camping facility with good amenities and easy trail access. Showers included and very nice to have after a day out hiking. Only put four stars because being decently close to the airport you get a good amount airplane noise into the night. Other then that exceedingly nice tent sites and great staff.
Angie Hartley: Shinleaf is one of our favorited trail we like to come. We like to take our kids for hiking here. My kids enjoy it so much!! We walk abt half a mile to the camp site and abt a quarter of mile to the lake. This place is beatiful!! The restrooms are cleaned!! James Dennis: Spent 10 days in June of 2022. We really enjoyed our stay, the weather was a bit hot but the park was clean & well kept. I did have my battery charger stolen from the rest room so you may not want to live on the honor system while there. Staff was great & so were the other campers. If you bring in allot of equipment bring a way to transport it as it is all "WALK IN ONLY". Makes you think twice about, do I really need this item.
B L: Shinleaf trail is awesome! You get some nice lake views along the way, and at the end as well.
Kaicheng Niu: This is one of the best campgrounds I've ever had. I selected site 39 and it's about 1 mile to get in and out. The sites are extremely quiet, compared to those campsites with vehicles. I can't hear any sound of engines in the morning nor in the night, and the only source of noise is the boats in the lake. There is no electricity in the site so I brought my own inverter. I carried it for half a mile and realized that I need a dolly, but my battery is not very heavy so I'm just okay. Two problems: 1. There is no laundry room around the site 2. burning fallen woods is not permitted.

Xplore Kayak Tours: Great dry camping group site with waterfront lake access... There is a bathhouse with hot water. No electric hookup in camping area. Has grills picnic tables and a firepit.
Michael Zitney: Great place. Not your stacked on each other sites. Quiet and peaceful. Feel like you are more in nature. The restrooms were. Clean. Will be returning.

Kristianne Ripple: We enjoyed camping here. The scenery is woodsy and beautiful and the restrooms are bright and clean. Our only complaint is that we seem to be under a commercial flight corridor. We heard planes flying over during the night. The evenings were really lovely, we saw many fire flies.
Rick Bardos: Well maintained trail, about 1.5 miles to the point. The first third is gravel and becomes more and more natural.
Timothy Walsh: Great place to camp! Clean and safe. But it's in direct line with air traffic and if it doesn't bug you it doesn't matter.
Danielle Neese: Really great campground. Clean showers, reasonable prices for firewood (you have to go to the Holly Point entrance to buy wood or in town), and friendly rangers. The only thing that was bothersome was the airplanes constantly overhead. I felt like I couldn't truly disconnect but it is what it is when RDU is so close. The group sites were spacious and clean.

Also didnt know that it was all walking and not like where you have your car by your camp site. rpsellers: I wasn't thrilled. Campground is supposedly for campers only but we had people walking right by our RV headed down to the lake in both morning and evening. Felt like camping in a parking lot.

Was kinda dangerous with all the children in the water. But overall, we had a great time each day we went. Tents are allowed and there's plenty of space to bbq using theirs or your own grill!. People were very respectful for the most park also.

Let this be a reminder to those that live in the USA that no matter how safe an area is, even greenways or quaint suburban areas, you also need to carry and protect yourselves if possible. Gun control can only do so much in a country where there are already more guns than people. Gun control will helpfully cause less guns to be put in the hands of psychos like this, but the pre-existing ones won't go away so the bad will always be in reach of them as long as this country exists. Parallex Star: After calling over the weekend to ask about units available, a nice gentleman told us three units were listed as vacant. He was very kind and stated he was not sure how many bedrooms were in each unit or when the units could be listed as available to rent--there may be cleaning still being done, etc. Monday morning I contacted the leasing office to ask about the rentals and the lady, whom did not give her name, that answered the phone stated she did not have any available units. I explained someone had told us over the weekend three were vacant. She explained further that one had burned down, one was waiting on cabinets (and stated that could tale up to 6 months), and the last one was completely gutted at the moment.Now, I physical went to look at the addresses that were listed as vacant from the outside and inside my car, very briefly over the weekend. None appeared to be burned down. None showed evidence of debrie recently removed like flooring or wall interior in the grass. In fact, all three units looked fairly decent from the outside. We felt like one of the three would be a decent shot at finding a place to live and save up money to purchase our forever home in a year's time. The woman running the leasing office is very rude and obviously not the best at managing property communications. Unfortunately, either way, she informed us that have a no pet policy as well. I'm not able to forego my cat for some snobby woman would has an ego complex.Would not recommend anyone to deal with her on a month-to-month basis.

william bruce: Pullen Park has always been a beautiful place to spend some time. The staff are nice and willing to help. With the amount of people and kids, this place is always surprisingly clean. Great place to take your family or just go for a peaceful day to yourself.
Chanchal: A fun park for all ages. Rode the train which runs along the park boundary, it was a short lovely ride. This beautiful park has a lake with fountain and boat riding activity, walking paths, bridges, playing areas, kids activities, carousel, shelters, benches, kiddies boat ride etc. Well maintained restrooms. Parking available but may gets busy on weekends. It has no entry fee but activities are chargeable.Área de juegos: Nice clean play areas for all ages. Great kids play areas.Baños: Well maintained.Área de pícnic: The park has many picnic areas and shelters.

Kaini Feller: This park is beautiful! Love the different types of activity you can do with your kids. The playground is huge and if you want to go for a nice walk, they have various paths you can do that with. Definitely recommend for a nice family day!
