Tee Clean: Le pido a un amigo que corra por 4 rebanadas de pastel de queso. Ahora te recuerdo que era negro. Mientras intentaba irse, le pidieron su recibo. Debido a que no parecía que pudiera permitirse un pastel de queso. Estoy tratando de reunir en mi mente. Lo que te hace ver como si pudieras permitírtelo. Nunca volveré a comer aquí de nuevo. Michael Waily: So orders about 300.00 worth of food… Food was wrong food was cold… And one of the food items were straight raw and bleeding… 12 PC Buffalo wings… Me and my fiancé got separate 12 pc buffalo wings and both of our wings were uncooked and raw/bleeding… told our waitress and brought out a new set of 12 pc buffalo wings for both of us and sure enough same issue… Definitely not worth or all the hype… couldn’t get any discounts or something to even make the situation right…
WEARE 4013: Honest opinion: I ordered a basket with cheesecake, it was good, the carrot cake tasted good but very cold, I liked the attention of the waitress because she was kind. The bad thing was the smell of the place, it smells like very unpleasant plumbing. I was anxious to finish my dessert and get out of there. I leave this opinion because it is really important that you be aware of the smells in your restaurant.

Entrées ordered was the pasta with mushrooms and pork, both incredible. What was the let down after the mouthwatering meal was the dessert. My friend really liked her Peanut Butter tart, I tried it, I wish it was sweeter. The panna cotta itself was AMAZING, but the bourbon cherry sauce ruined it (different tastes). Ultimately would recommend, but maybe not desserts.
Harun Zembilci: At first, I was a little leary about a place called Death and Taxes, and we did not get to find out why until our wonderful hostess took us down in the basement for a tour. I am not going to tell you so you have to go there and find out for yourself. As for the place, everything we ordered was excellent. The cocktails, the food, the deserts and the vine. Speaking of wine, Kudos to Cat (our hostess) and Cat Robinson, the sommelier turned service manager for their knowledge of wines. I saw some wines in the cellar that I would be hard pressed to find in the cellar of well known restaurants in New York. I would definitely recommend anybody in Raleigh area to stop by for dinner and make sure you get Cat to be your hostess.
BB: You must try the dry-aged Long Island Strip, embered sweetpotato, beef fat butter, caper-pink peppercorn chimichurri. The best I ever had, so flavorful. Everything was great from the drinks, my appetizer (crispy new potatoes, aged beef fat, fines herbs), to the main course and tea. It was worth it. I had one of the best bartender/server whom name is Alex. He provided great customer services, polite, good conversation, he makes wonderful recommendations for drinks and food, he knows his flavors and the ingredients. The atmosphere is wonderful. The other bartender and staff were also polite and helpful as well. I will definitely be back!!!

The cozy yet vibrant ambiance, complete with an open kitchen, set the stage for a memorable evening.The food was a true delight, with standout dishes like the morel mushroom pasta that left us in awe. While the asparagus appetizer could have used a bit more sauce, the flavors were still enticing. Moreover, the attentive and friendly service, particularly from our server Roy, elevated our experience to new heights. Roy's expertise in cocktails, wine tastings, and his introduction to the world of amari added an educational and adventurous touch to our evening.The impeccable orchestration of the staff was impressive to witness, with seamless glass refills, meticulous table cleaning between courses, and the presentation of fresh plates. Every detail was carefully attended to, elevating the overall sophistication of the restaurant.

Sadly, it was some of the worst food I had ever eaten and I eat out often!There are only 4 entrees on the menu and we each ordered one to share. The only entree that was somewhat good was the pork dish. My chicken was dry and all dark meat and the salmon was a small piece covered in greens! I don’t know how they remain open and the prices are outrageous for what you get!!!

I was kinda disappointed; was really expecting more. The chocolate cake was ok. The waitress was nice. I think I would not spend $85 again.

Gregory Olson: Came here based on proximity to my hotel. I always like to try New York style pizza when I travel. Decent slice and prompt/fast service. Great value for the meal. $7.99 for 2 slices of pepperoni with a drink. The slice could have had just a little more tang in my opinion. Nice grease from the pepperoni. Overall, good pizza that filled me up. Also, learned about Cheerwine since it was in the spot usually reserved for Dr. Pepper where im from. Pretty interesting soda. Got the garlic knots as well. They were not as garlicky and flavorful as they looked. The marinara served with them was a little bland too. If that was the same sauce on the pizza, that could explain the lack of tang from the slices. Would try again, but after I tried other spots in the area. The atmosphere wasn't great, but it wasn't bad either. Fine for a place in a strip mall.

avis blue: Me and my husband decided to stop and give NY Brooklyn Slices a try and we are glad we did........ I tired a spinach roll VERY DELICIOUS...... And the owner heard it was our very first time and personally brought us out to fresh slices of pizza out for us to sample and let me just say this it was BANGING...... we order a medium pepperoni pizza to go, and OH YEA THE Marinara sauce that they give you to dip your pizza roll in was very seasoned and you most definitely can tell that it's homemade not canned...... the staff was very professional and kind I will stopping by there again.

The slop I received is UNBELIEVABLE I called at 10:36 pm a female picked up the phone and I expressed my concerns and she hung up on me. Horrible I just can not believe it. Overcooked rice, missing broccoli and undercooked salmon. The rice was supposed to be in a separate container. I will be calling back tomorrow again. The person over the phone won’t pick up after I called back several times. Very disrespectful. I placed the order way before closing and if there wasn’t any fresh food the customer should be notified. I want that disrespectful girl that hung up on me reported to management.

Nelson Williams: This was my first trip to Chili's in years. The food was better than I remembered. The beer selection was great. Prices were reasonable. And our waitress was good. The dining room was crowded and noisy. The hostess had really bad B.O. Seriously. Her hair appeared to be dirty, too. That was off-putting. The parking lot was full of loitering kids -- some on skateboards. They didn't care if they were blocking traffic. We won't hurry back, but it wasn't completely awful, either.

We were first on the list.Upon arriving at the restaurant, we were informed that 2 large groups came in earlier and being on the list didn't matter and we would need to wait 20-30 minutes. The reason for this was an "official company policy" (according to later talk with manager) that those parties would need to actually receive food prior to us being seated. In other words, it was a mathematical numbers issue.Several groups of 2 entered the restaurant and were immediately seated. This was at least 8 persons and we continued to sit and wait with our 5 people.It was now 45-50 minutes of waiting with no explanation or communication from the hostess or anyone else.I then inquired to the hostess about the situation and she again said the number of customer that can be seated (many large tables available) depended on how many people had received food.Knowing that at this point 8-10 people had been seated, I asked to talk to the manager who reiterated that we were waiting because of the "numbers". I indicated that her explanation didn't line up as 8-10 people were seated before us and we had five.She looked at me with a confused look and no explanation so we elected to leave around the 60 minutes of waiting mark.This all happened after we were first on the call ahead seating list ...
Marcus: Poor service and not terribly busy during my visit. Didn't feel good about sanitation of food and store could have been better kept. Staff generally seemed indifferent and bothered to help guests. DEFINITELY won't return.
Courtney Sgroi: Came here with a friend. The burger patties we ordered weren't super thick but not any less tasty! The loaded fries were delicious as well. We also ordered margaritas that were made perfectly. Our server was very sweet and nice. I feel bad that I don't remember her name because she definitely deserves a raise! She has purple eyebrows, pigtails and a piercing at the bridge of her nose. She was very attentive and very friendly. But my favorite part about our experience was the cheesecake I took to go. Even after I've had it in the fridge for a few hours it was still delicious! ESPECIALLY the strawberry sauce that came with it! Will definitely come back if I'm ever in Raleigh again 😁

Isabel H.: Slow and poor customer service . It took for ever to bring our meals and bill. The portion size are super super small. It is no way that this restaurant is 4.3 stars. It is certainly over rated and over priced. I don’t recommend it at all. Definitely eat before you come or you are going to leave hungry.

Moon Roy: Their standards have dropped. I used to go there few years back and absolutely loved it. We recently went with a group. The chocolate dome dessert had a hair tangled inside the brownie.. we called the waiter , who came and said all the chefs have caps.. we responded the way its stuck inside the brownie it cannot randomly fall, its baked with it , its evident, to which the waiter took it back saying we will not charge u. We were a party of 6, they didn’t seem to be sorry n approach was careless, no replacement were given. Neither did the manager come to the table to handle it. We kept sitting and waiting, and later the bill was given to us minus the chocolate bomb. After seeing the hair we couldn’t eat whatever other deserts we ordered but we did pay for them. At a place like Oro, we expected a bit better service and more courteous waiters.

Mariah Canup: Horrible dinner experience last night (July 7th). We waited outside in the heat for 20 minutes for our reservation without being offered water. After sitting for 15 minutes, we asked for water since no one was serving our table. We promptly ordered drinks and family style dinner. All drinks, even beer and wine, took 20-30 minutes. We requested water multiple times, and other tables had empty water glasses for most of their meal. After sitting for an hour, each person literally had 4 bites. Some courses were spaced out by 20-30 minutes, but at 10pm courses were rushed and served together. Other guests got dessert, but we were not given this option. No hand dryers or paper towels at 8pm or 10:30pm. The DJ was too loud for 4 people to comfortably talk. In the end, a waste of 2.5 hours and $300+. We left hungry and disappointed.

EM S: An absolutely phenomenal and transforming experience. From cocktails to dessert, everything was amazing. The attention to detail is portrayed in every level. A must try is the lamb ribs, shrimp risotto, the chocolate brownie dessert that melts before your eyes and banana bread pudding. Kudos to the Executive Chef and the Sous Executive Chef.
Molly Thompson: This was absolutely phenomenal. The drinks are so unique and cool - they come in lanterns and tiny bathtubs and all kinds of creative vessels, with smoke pouring out. But the real showstopper is the food. Topping the list for us was the golden beet plate with whipped feta - truly one of the top 5 things we’ve ever eaten. But everything was thoughtfully prepared and delicious. My only complaint was that there was a DJ, which was a cool vibe, but it was so loud we were shouting to hear each other.

Por lo que paga aquí entre el servicio lento, ni siquiera obtener la experiencia habitual completa, y solo la falta de entusiasmo o energía de nuestra camarera, realmente no valió la pena. Además de eso, todo el tiempo escuchamos a los empleados gritar, reír y hablar desde atrás sin tener en cuenta a las personas que intentaban disfrutar de su cena. Uno de los otros camareros se registró con nosotros durante nuestra comida y nos preguntó si había algún extra que necesitáramos, por lo que agradecimos porque nuestra camarera realmente no se registró después de dejar nuestras cosas premezcladas. Nuestras bebidas estuvieron vacías durante más de 10 minutos a la vez, y estuvimos sentados mucho tiempo esperando entre platos. Por lo general, el personal es muy atento y amable y ofrece un buen espectáculo, pero ayer fue, sinceramente, la peor experiencia que he tenido allí. Elegimos plátanos de crianza, que allí mismo flambeamos. ¡Muy guay! Sabía como un rollo de canela. ¡Cuando volvamos, definitivamente tendremos que probar el chocolate! Trajeron krispies de arroz, malvaviscos cubiertos con Oreo, brownies, Blondies, pastel de ángel, plátanos y fresas para mojar. Comida increíble!!!

Hannah Rhodes: As someone who is lactose intolerant, the cramps will be worth it. The cheese was absolutely fantastic! We got the spinach artichoke and aged cheddar, which came with bread, celery, apples, and carrots. The food was also delicious, and I enjoyed boiling and grilling my own food. Our server, Riley, was also amazing and recommended great items on the menu since it was our first time.

Luisa Medina: The whole concept of this place is really neat. However, there’s definitely room for improvement. First off way overpriced. We spent almost $180 for just two people (including the tío for the waiter). This restaurant is not fancy, therefore shouldn’t have those “fancy” prices”. People were literally showing up in sweatpants… Second, the bread was not fresh. It was hard and gross. Plus, the vegetables were definitely still cold and still defrosting. I do love the dessert part if the dinner. However, the brownies and cookies were definitely not fresh. Overall, the quality of the food does not fit the price.

We all concluded that the service was terrible, the filet mignon was tough & chewy (certainly not filet). The cheese fondue included 2 small pieces of cauliflower, a handle full of baby carrots, along with bread there was celery....[what a cheap excuse] I mean really!? How many times a week does 1 sit and think "boy! Sure could go for dipping some celery into some hot cheese."We came to the conclusion; the price verses quality, service & atmosphere nowhere near add up to an enjoyable evening therefore we will no longer be dining at The Melting Pot & that's unfortunate.
Connie Rhodes Rummel: We chose to celebrate Mother’s Day Saturday night and made a reservation two months in advance at the Durham, NC location. Apparently it doesn’t matter if you make a reservation as we still had to wait 50mins for our table to be ready. (Reservation at 6:45pm, finally sat down at 7:35pm) many other reservations had similar experiences as ours, so obviously management has no idea how to schedule staffing and reservations. While our server was an absolute Angel, the overall service left much to be desired. We had to ask for silverware and napkins multiple times, having to use the fondue forks for the cheese course only receiving forks and napkins with our salads, only after someone delivered our entree asking if everything ok with our salads.Overall service was slow, understanding the experience (this was not our first time at melting pot) what is typically a 2hr dinner, turned into a 4hr dinner, with us leaving the restaurant at 10:45pm.I sincerely hope the Raleigh location has better service, as the Durham location needs a closer look at capacity and service times.

Entré emocionado y me saludaron de inmediato, mi invitado y yo tomamos una copa del bar mientras preparaban nuestra mesa. Luego nos sentamos y conocimos a KEARSTIN R. Heather House: We had tickets to go to the Lego Expo and wanted to have dinner afterward. I did a quick search on Google at close places. As I looked through the pics, I remember seeing the food truck somewhere and remember wanting to try the food. We got there and were ready to order, and the power went out in the whole strip mall. The staff quickly reacted to shift to iPad payment, and there was hot food ready to put together. Luckily, the power came back on in less than 10 mins. We all got something different and tried all of it. We had areas - La Tica, La Peula, and the ham/cheese. They were all delicious! Think our favorite was the beef. Also, we got a Cachapa with beef. I read cornbread, but I wasn't expecting the sweetness. Oh my! The sweet of the cachapa combined with the beef and cheese was a lovely flavor combo. I had some with some without the homemade hot sauce. The hot/sweet combo worked really well, too. They also make a Cilantro sauce and tyoe of Venezuelan sour cream that you must try. The fried plantains were a good dessert! The homemade juices were delicious. When I learned how they are made in house, I felt my hips grow... but I don't care... so good! They staff were amazing! Extremely friendly, answered all the questions and gave us helpful info as we ordered. Great experience!
Sheri Faluta: I had the pleasure of eating from their food truck, at an event I was working. I got the La Tica and La Pelua arepas. They were soooo good! The meat was tender, flavorful and juicy. The arepas were soft and freshly made. I wish I lived closer; I'd be here at least 3-4 days a week. The employees were gracious and humble. If you haven't tried this place, it's a MUST!!! I only have a pic of the La Tica because I inhaled the La Pelua before I realized a pic would be helpful to some. UPDATE: I was fortunate to have another event in Raleigh on Thursday, 6/15/23. I made it a point to visit the brick and mortar location (30 mins in the opposite direction of home) and was not disappointed!! I was surprised to find that not many people were there, at 6 PM. Neha Patel: Great place for lunch, two of us shared 3 arepas and they were super good with the cilantro salsa. Every bite was flavorful, not spicy for those who don't need that. They have hot arepas and cold stuffing ones. Prices are excellent. Unfortunately, we ate so fast we forgot to take pictures, except the no wait line on a Monday (Memorial Day) at lunch. Plenty of Venezuelans were inside eating too.

Xclusive Baskets: Fui a Virgils para tener una cena de cumpleaños. Esperamos 15 minutos por el camarero después de preguntar a otros servidores que finalmente lo encontraron.
