Joshua Jones: This is for the public course side.Not a bad course. Lots of elevation changes, some blind fairways and such. Greens are horribly slow, or fast. No one fixes their ball marks on the greens nor fill in divots. Tee boxes aren’t all that great but doable. Cart paths are pretty rough in most parts. Lots of bare ground throughout the course. I enjoyed it even though I wasn’t playing my best and this was my first time there. Golf carts were fairly clean and have the geofencing which keeps folks from certain areas.

Boonie Gambini: The course was way better than it was years ago. The only thing that really got me mad was the grill. I had an 8 o'clock tee time and was going to grab a sausage , egg, and cheese on toast but the grill wasn't open. Me and my buddy played the front 9 and came back to the grill around 10. The lady was there and the grill still wasn't open. She sold me 2 frozen peanut butter and jelly uncrustables , a monster energy and a water. The carts are great with electronic tablets to keep score and even play music. Practice putting greens are great as well. Overall , it's a great course for the value. I'd highly recommend this course to everyone.
Bill W: Friendly staff. Nice layout. Has 27 holes. The extra 9 (stockholders) are for members use unless given permission. So adjust your GPS accordingly. Carts have built in gps. No driving range. Food & beverage available. Location off I-40 easy to get to. Unlike most courses on early weekend tee times, I did see some walkers. Would play again.
Mike P: No frills, pretty beat up and quite a bit of weeds but for $35 bucks can you really complain? Played 18 in 3 hours on a Friday morning. No range as others have mentioned.

Cory stutzman: First time here and had a great time. Called ahead asking pace of play avg and was told 4 1/2 hours. On a Friday, 3:30 I’ll take that. Greens were awesome. Fast but soft landings. Made new friends with Bill on the front 9, Mark and Brandon on the back 9.A few blind holes which caused me to drive into the group in front of us without any knowledge of doing so until the 18th(big hill). My group had a good pace and felt we waited enough time. The 5 some in front of us took my ball and felt the need to threaten us physically for something we had no idea was an issue.Tried to apologize to them in the parking lot but they were getting very aggressive.. until I asked if anyone was missing a Spider Putter cover. All a sudden they felt the need to be civil in conversation.I’ll be back to meet such awesome people and fast greens.

Frederick Reid: It was a great experience at hettingham. I can't remember the name of the assistant pro but he was a very nice young black man. He made us feel very welcomed. The course was in great shape. The greens are a bit quick but it makes for a good challenge. It was far better than my experience at falls Village and Durham, North Carolina. This is a great place to come play golf. I will definitely be back

Mike: I really like this course. The holes present a challenge and the greens roll fair. The front nine is great and the back nine has been my favorite in terms of layout and design. However, I'll second another reviewer here that noted Hedingham has got some trashy people living around the green on hole 13 and around the fairway on hole 14.A buddy of mine and I played today and we had 3 pre-teens come out throwing sticks and rocks at us for their enjoyment after we declined their offer to buy golf balls from them. We called the pro shop to report it and were told there was nothing they could do about it, that it was an issue that the leasing office would have to address. Guess next time, I'll either avoid the back 9, or just immediately call the police in the event of a similar incident. Shame that a nice course rents to such disgusting tenants.

Celust Flowers: This place was on the recommended places to eat for my conference and it's a solid choice. The service was quick, the food was good, and the staff was friendly. I got the hot honey chicken sandwich with fries and I really enjoyed my meal!
