Mike Stevens: Wonderful clinical experience at Duke Vascular Surgery.
Beka Spivey: Wonderful office. My wheelchair was able to go through most doors. The guy in the lobby must have been sick he was not very friendly but had the sniffles so I'm pretty sure he just didn't feel well. Daniel Geersen was amazing and so worth the drive. He listened to me and allowed me to cry bc my issues make me so emotional. Best PA I call him a true doctor ❤️ I look forward to seeing him again definitely don't dread it like these other doctors or PAs. I definitely recommend if you are looking for lipedema/lymphatic help. Love Duke Vascular surgery and Vain center.
Rebecca McCoy: One of the best clinics of any type I have been to - and that it a LOT. Dr. Shortell, Dan Geerson, PA-C, Reece - they're all fantastic. Really took the time to talk about what was going on and work with me to do whatever we could to avoid surgery, which ended up being necessary anyway. I spent six days in the Abdominal Transplant Unit there at Duke, and I was visited by either Dr. Shortell or Dan every single day for more than the cursory "stick your head in and say hi" type visit. When symptoms started to reoccur about 18 months after the surgery, I immediately asked for the VA to send me back to this wonderful team. I go back this morning, and know I will be well taken care of.
Lisa Gorham: Staff is the best, especially nurse Reese. He worked really hard to get my husband an appointment.
Cindy Everett: I had spider vein laser therapy. The provider did not even ask me to turn over to see the back side of my legs. After the fronts were done she started asking if I had any remaining spots I wanted treated. I pointed out 2 other spots on the posterior of my legs that were historically bothersome. She treated them but I could tell she was done with the session. I work a lot and the one option for a return appointment didn't work for me. I asked about the following month with a quick NO. So I asked about the next month along with a request for more laser for the backs of my legs that were not even addressed. Suddenly, the original appointment request was available.Checking out was no treat either. I was told by the original provider that i saw that I would be able to use my health care savings card. I told the receptionist I was going to use it. No response. I used it and it went through. I asked for an itemized receipt in case I needed to submit it. She told me that they don't give them out. Then told me "They aren't going to pay for it anyway." I insisted on an itemized receipt, not just the slip like you get at the grocery store, and she said glaringly "You'll have to contact the business office." I'm in health care myself and I know what good customer service is. This is not it. There are plenty of other vein places around.
Sharion Frazier: Very courteous staff. The clinicians are super supportive and concerned about your issues. The doctors take the time to document every issue...they are very thorough. Very informative of any underlying issues and with their professional suggestions they come up with the best plan for patient care.
Todd Frazier: I like the lobby area and it's comfortable. The staff are friendly and approachable. Free tea and coffee while you wait is a plus. Arrived early for appt and was seen before appt time - that's another plus.

Howard Rooker: Since I was last at this clinic Dr. Nader has left . He has gone full time back at his other clinic in NC.
Shirley Blair: Everything was great. Wish you were still in Wilmington.
Christina Klose: Terrible experience. My husband had an appointment for a procedure and arrived on time. As we entered the staff member stated that we could be seated and she would be with us shortly to get checked in. We took our seats and waited for 45 minutes before the same staff explained that the internet was out. Being a former medical assistant I understood the dilemma but thought to myself "Couldn't have told us when we walked in?". We are quickly approaching the 1 hour wait mark where the staff member stated that their shipment of saline had not come in. "Your kidding? Right?". So again, as a former medical assistant common sense would tell me that if what was needed for an early morning appointment had not arrived by the night before, I would make the patient aware by a simple phone call. We blocked time out of our work and time is money for most. Those that consider themselves professionals need to step up their game.
Arthur Klose: Run! Far away from this place! Any positive reviews on here are from when this place was Vein Centers of America, which they are no longer. They were bought a few months ago by USA Vein Clinics and it has quickly gone down hill. I had a follow-up a month ago which I found out after the fact I didn't need but was billed for. Today I showed up to have a vein procedure done on my leg. After waiting for several minutes we were told the internet was down and I couldn't be checked in. After the internet finally came back on, they had the nerve to tell us that they didn't have the supplies needed to perform the procedure. No call the day before, no call the morning of, no nothing, just a morning wasted. My original doctor is no longer there and understandably so. The front desk staff has all turned over and is not welcoming at all. If you need anything you need to go through an outsourced call center. The place is just cold and inhospitable. I canceled all of my followup appointments and will be seeking treatment elsewhere.
Mike & Jo Chambers: Lengthy but PLEASE read before scheduling.... I started at the Wilmington, NC office 06/2022, the facility & staff were great. Day 1 (Sept) of treatment (right leg) very little discomfort & again the staff was great. Day 2 (a wk later) perfect. Day 3....Wilmington office is closed with handwritten note stating to call to reschedule; sat in the parking lot for an hr & 28 mins to find out the office was temporarily closed & would have to move treatment plan to Supply, NC a month later. OK, so let's try day 3 (Nov) again in Supply, arrive to find out the clinic has merged with USA Vein & 90% of the staff has quit. What little staff was there acted miserable & not personable. The treatment (left leg) was EXTREMELY painful (keep in mind had zero problems with the first treatment on the right leg) & the nurse/assistant that did the prep attached the surgical sheet to the back of my leg so when it was removed it literally pulled the skin off & had a huge amount of bruising just from it, not including all the bruising from the treatment. Day 4 ( a wk later) get to the Supply office to be told my appt was canceled (without notice), I advised the concerns from the last treatment & that I would have to be seen, so finally they did. Before day 5 (which would be still Nov) could get here I received a call that now the Supply, NC office is temporarily closed & Wilmington is permanently closed so now my treatment has been moved to Cary, NC (2hrs away). Now comes day 5 (Dec), back to right leg... Wasn't as comfortable as day 1 but not terrible; after the procedure I'm told everything looks good with that leg & I don't need any other treatment on it. Day 6 (Jan), again in Cary, NC, I get in an argument with the Dr because he doesn't know which leg (left) to be treating & makes no attempt to look at my records... Just takes my word for it. Omg! It's worse than the first treatment on that leg; then the Dr tells me that he'll do just a little on the right at no charge. Oh & let me not forget then tells me he's leaving the clinic so IF I have another appt it'll be with someone else. Now Day 7 (Feb) is approaching & I get a call that the Dr is out (really out... Don't you mean he's left?) & I need to reschedule so day 7 appt has been moved another month out to March. WAIT FOR IT.....I get a call today that appt 03/15/23 has to rescheduled again because the Dr is no longer with the clinic (shocker) & by the way the new Dr doesn't take my insurance so I'll be a cash patient. Nope, not happening. This treatment was for 8-10 visits starting in September & ending in November.... It started in September & here we are in February & still not completed. STAY AWAY if you don't want to feel WORSE than you started!

Kimberly Lyle: Very helpful and knowledgeable staff!
Elizabeth Lockley: The procedure was quick, accurate, and painless! I'm amazed at the results. I am an athlete and my legs have always been one of my best features. I was diagnosed with vein disease that was very unsightly and uncomfortable. After treatment no one can tell that I've had any vericose veins or any treatment done! My legs are beautiful and strong again! I can't wait to show off these nine time marathon running legs next summer! Great job team! Keep up the great work!
Hannah massengill: I had an awesome experience. Everyone was so nice and helpful .
Keturah Clark: Very professional, procedures was awesome, very friendly, I recommend them absolutely!!
Glenda McAllister: I was treated exceptional well. All my questions were answered
Sydney Golden: Overall a good experience. However, I am almost certain I have permanent numbness in my right lower leg near my shin from what I assume would be from ablating my nerve along with my vein that was there. Pretty frustrating it's been almost a year and a half and it is still present.
Brandie Riley: They have been so helpful in making the appointments work with my schedule. They explained the whole process thoroughly and answered all of my questions.
Elizabeth Farmeron: Very kind and professional staff.
Dena Joyner: Great experience.
Helen Hubler: I have recently worked with Dr. Perez a wonderful Vein Surgeon, and Nathan (phlebotomy technician) both are terrific at vein ablation and procedures and I highly recommend this facility. Very little pain during and after my vein procedures.
