Jessica Lands: My daughter has been attending Spanish for Fun for almost 1 year and I absolutely LOVE everything about it! The teachers and staff are always happy/smiling/welcoming and my daughter cries sometimes when it's time to leave school because she wants to stay with her "friends" and teachers. She has learned so much, says numerous words in Spanish and she understands and responds to her teachers directives in Spanish. They also do lots of activities with the kids, send pictures often, do crafts, do events to give the kids a chance to perform something they've learned in class, and so much more! I couldn't be happier with SFF! ❤️
Valentina Uribe: The strength of SSF! Is the staff. The teachers are amazing in their love for the children as well as dedication to teaching and building up the kids. The teachers and staff do an excellent job of achieving a warm, positive environment for learning.
bianca mejia: really good school my son goes there the teachers a very respectful and stay on top of the kids to make sure they do their work it’s the best highly recommended
Kevin Gracey: My son attended Spanish for Fun until July 2022. Beginning in August ‘22, SFF began trying to collect for tuition not owed after he left the program, with notice. This has continued.5 stars for the childcare.Negative stars for the incompetency of the admin staff and general bad business practices.Save yourself a headache and choose a different location.
Sky Barraclough: We love Spanish for Fun. My 2 year old comes home talking about his teacher and the fun things they do at school. We are very happy here!
Britney C: We love all the staff at SFF! They are so kind and caring. I feel assured that my child is well taken care of!
Shannon: Our daughter has attended SFF! for a year now and she has loved it. She started at Duraleigh at 14 months and is now at Glenwood at 2 years. Her teachers and the administrative staff are always so wonderful with her. She runs in happily and even when we go on vacation, she asks us about her teachers and friends constantly. She is very happy, loved and cared for everyday and we very much appreciate SFF! for all that they do for her!
Shannon Mobley: We have been so pleased with Spanish For Fun! Our daughter has been there for five years now. She has learned so much and the teachers really seem to love the children and their job. Also, the administration is always helpful, quick to respond, and easy to share thoughts with. These ladies (and gentlemen) are truly incredible.
Meredith Schultz: My 2.5 year old son has been going to SFF Glenwood for a little over a year and he has really thrived here! When he comes home he speaks quite a bit of Spanish and tells me things he has learned. When we read books in Spanish, he can name all the animals and say so many of the words in both English and Spanish. He also seems to really enjoy going in the mornings. Specifically Miss Diana and Miss Stephanie (as well as Miss Sandra and Miss Carol, the director) have made a great impression. I can tell that they really care and love their students. My son talks about the teachers and other kids nonstop and he runs to Miss Diana to give her a hug in the morning. Miss Diana’s enthusiasm for children and energy with them really is something to be admired. I was thrilled that he is in her and Miss Stephanie’s class. I get updates through the day with cute pictures and description of what they are learning at school that day/week. I can safely say I trust this preschool with my son and know he is loved and well cared for!
Mary Kate Hom: We love SFF! My son started going to the Duraleigh location when he was 11 weeks old. As a first time mom, I was a little nervous about leaving my baby when I went back to work. Spanish for Fun made me feel so much better. My son was not just cared for, he was loved. The teachers and staff genuinely care about the kids. My son runs into school in the morning and when we pick him up, he gives his teachers hugs and blows kisses. They are truly an extension of our family. He has learned so much and we could not ask for more.
Ashley Kern: We have been going to the WF location for a little over a month and I am blown away with how amazing the staff are, and how loved my children are! My daughter, who would cling and cling to me at drop off at our previous facility, walks in on her own with a big smile on her face. My son is just as excited to go! They have both started telling me some colors in spanish, which I did not teach them lol. I love that they are learning fundamentals AND another language AND being truly loved. You can tell the staff love what they do. I am so happy we made the decision to join the SFF family!! 😍
Xiaochuan Zhang: My 6 years old son participated two weeks' summer camp there as a Spanish beginning learner. He really enjoyed being there, although he couldn't understand most of the classroom language for the first several days. After the two weeks, my son told me he felt he could understand ALL spanish. Which is not true but the confidence built at the SSF Glenwood definitely will help his future learning. Staff are very supportive and aware of specific family needs. Our experience is short but very impressive.
Carlos and Ashley Arcano: Sff-Wake Forest is the best educational environment our daughter could have. As educators, we strive to provide and support a healthy, balanced, and rich setting for our daughter and Sff! is the place to find them all. The Spanish immersion program offered at Sff! has enriched our daughter's social and academic language skills not only in Spanish but in English as well. We enjoy all the events and family engagement activities throughout the year. We are so grateful with everyone at Sff! Ms. Lucy, Ms. Jeanette, and Ms. Alba are a great asset to the school and are always willing to listen, communicate, find answers and solutions. They are all very proactive! Thanks to all of them for making a huge difference with all children!
Ramita Chitrakar: Our son was at SFF since he was about 8 months old. We started with Cary location and then moved to GLenwood. Loved both the locations. Teachers are very loving and caring. Love that they provide food and have focused on making it more healthier in recent times. Definitely recommend it.
Dr. Connie Omari: This was a great school for my family and daughter. The teachers are compassionate and the oversight is thorough. The school worked wonders to teach my daughter Spanish and I love hearing her sing new songs in Spanish. I highly recommend this school.
Whitney Hargett: Muy mala experiencia...

Mario and Maria Cano: Our little one enters and leaves Spanish for Fun Duraleigh with a huge smile on her face every day, and lots of new skills! It is so easy to see how much she is loved and cared for by teachers and staff alike. We have had nothing but positive experiences at this daycare and are so grateful there is a safe, diverse, bilingual and enriching environment for our baby to learn and grow.
Alex Rodriguez: The staff is really friendly and very helpful. Our son has learned so much while being at Spanish for fun. The teachers are very communicative and send over pictures and updates that warm our hearts. So many activities that they do with infants. We feel confident that your child will be taken care of and loved as much as we love our son.
Austin Wright: We have had the most wonderful experience at SFF! The staff is so loving, enthusiastic, and caring. They are super organized and host so many fun events for students and families. Our kids love going to school and we’re so grateful for the early education they are getting!
Abigail Watson: Our daughter went to SFF! Duraleigh and it was a great experience! They took great care of her and she learned so much - we would definitely recommend them.
Jordan Davis: Our daughter LOVES!!! SFF! We couldn't be happier here. They do a great job making sure she gets everything she needs, we LOVE the updates throughout the day (especially when they send pics of special activities!), and the teachers are truly amazing and will bend over backwards to help you as a parent. Our daughter is always so happy when we park and sad to leave (I try to not take that personally lol). I HIGHLY recommend SFF!
Maggie Robertson: We highly recommend the SFF Duraleigh location! We were very pleased with their infant program. All of the staff were very sweet and kept good communication through the “Procare” app. We especially loved the outdoor area for infants. We ended up having to transfer to a different location for a full-time spot, but we would’ve loved to stay!
Shannon Mobley: I cannot say enough good things about the staff. They are so very loving to our baby. We have enjoyed watching him learn from and love his teachers.

Myosha McFarland: I absolutely LOVE SFF Cary! We started December 2022 and ever since, the entire staff has been excited to have us there. Our infant was even able to participate in the Christmas performance and it was only our 3rd day there! That made us feel so special! The staff makes sure they know the names and parents of every child. It's just like a big family being a part of this school. I also love how SFF incorporates a Spanish immersion curriculum even for the babies. We can definitely tell that our baby is learning and understanding so much and he's only 6 months! Our baby is fed on time, clean always, and comes home happy. I HIGHLY recommend SFF to any parent that is searching for a school. You will not be disappointed!!!!
staci s: Updated:My son continues to attend SFF! and continues to grow and develop in a loving, supportive, and educational environment! Ms.Mariam and Ms. Indira in the toddlers class were so caring and good with the kids that it was hard to leave them when my son aged out of their class. However Ms. Mayi and Ms. Laura in the Preschool class are just as wonderful and helped him quickly transition into their class! Teachers communicate well with parents so that we can all work as a team to help our kids develop. Thank you for all the love and care you give!----------------------------------My son has attended Spanish For Fun since he was 4 months old and I'm so grateful to everyone at SFF! for all the love & care they've shown him. Under Miss Elsa's care in the Infants classroom, he thrived and was always shown great affection. She even made sure to send pictures of his favorite toy so that I could get a version for him to play with at home! He has since moved up to the Toddlers classroom and his teachers there (led by Miss Tania with Miss Doris, Miss Manuela, and Miss Aday) are so loving and dedicated to their students' intellectual and emotional development. We get regular updates about their classroom activities and it helps me reinforce his learning with activities at home. Lastly the administration at SFF! is similarly excellent. Miss Natalia and Miss Luvia are always very responsive to any questions and very involved with their students' development. It's so reassuring to this first-time mom to see him happily walk into school and look forward to seeing his teachers and classmates. As he moves through future classrooms, I'm confident he'll receive the same wonderful care he's had over the last 14 months!
Josie Bodle: Our son has attended SFF! Cary since he was 14 weeks old. After touring several other daycares, we felt SFF! had the most enthusiastic, loving, caring teachers and he would have the unique benefit of Spanish immersion. He is now 3.5 years old and speaks Spanish very comfortably with his teachers and peers in spite of our very limited Spanish at home. We and our son love all the teachers and staff members. They have all guided him from being an infant, through learning to walk, talk, potty train and now they are providing a wonderful learning environment which will help prepare him for elementary school. I cannot speak highly enough of the teachers and staff. We are so happy we chose SFF for our son’s early childhood education and will send our daughter there later this year.
Allie Oxtoby: Everyone is so personable and I know my son is getting a great age appropriate education in Spanish.
Alexandra Liebl: Our daughter, an infant, attends Spanish for Fun and loves it. She is always so happy when we go in and the teachers clearly care for her and all the students. As parents we feel assured she is in a safe, educational space that keeps us informed about her well being. They also go out of their way to provide fun social events for the kids enrichment. We wil keep her here as long as we can.
Nicole Kleinstreuer: Spanish For Fun is a living, nurturing, educational environment for our son, and we could not be happier with the care he receives there. The teachers and the leadership are incredible - warm, attentive, and with just the right amount of structure to help him grow and learn. We feel so lucky to have found SFF!
Maru Gonzalez: When it comes to quality of care and curriculum, Spanish for Fun! is in a league of its own. The entire staff is so warm and welcoming; I felt confident knowing my children were receiving the best care and preparation for kindergarten. We have been so fortunate to send all three of our children to Spanish for Fun, where they thrived socially, emotionally, and academically. We are so grateful to the entire team of dedicated educators.
mandesa smith: We absolutely love Spanish For Fun Cary! We have been there for almost a year. My child and I love her teachers. She reaches for them when she arrives to school. Maestra Elsa, Maestra Natalia and Maestra Doris are the best! They really love and nurture my child! They keep me informed of her needs and development. They have enriched her beyond her intellect and language skills. She really is an independent person that also follows directions. I love that the teachers send us photos, daily updates and what the lesson was for the day. We also get parent teacher conferences. The cameras are great quality which is helpful while I am at work. The management, assistants and chef are all helpful, pleasant and wonderful. My child eats proper homecooked meals. Honestly I can't speak highly enough of our school! I would definitely recommend this special place to anyone.
Heather Durand: Our daughter has been going to Spanish for Fun for almost a year now. She loves it and we love it as parents. All the teachers and staff are so kind and caring. They know all the kids so well and are always friendly. We are a mixed family with one American and one Latino at home and we like that she has somewhere else outside of home to speak and learn Spanish. Ms edaliz is a great director and Ms Patti is the wonderful teacher.
Alex Wheeler: We chose SFF for the Spanish immersion and stayed for the loving environment and warm teachers. We wouldn't send our babies anywhere else.
May PM: Daycare, with spacious and clean class rooms and friendly staff from administration, teachers and all staff 5☆
Amanda Elson: Positivo:Calidad,Capacidad de respuesta,Profesionalismo
Trevor Walker: Very good school and teachers.
Maria Lopez-May: I cannot rave enough about how amazing Spanish for Fun Cary is. We have two kids there, a 4 year old who started the day he turned 3, and a 2 year old who started when she was 9 months. We moved from the Midwest and as expected, it was a tough transition for our oldest. The staff and teachers at SFF were so patient, they gave us daily updates, reassured us that he would adjust. They strategized to get him with kids who were more outgoing and slowly he started coming around. Soon, he loved his new school! It’s now been over a year, and our kids feel so loved and cared for, and as parents I know they are getting both academic training and socio-emotional learning. The staff is communicative and truly genuinely care for every child. The safety standards have been TOP NOTCH - I so appreciate the many many precautions they take and that they’re strict about masks, hand washing, napping 6 feet apart, etc.A few special mentions - Ms Natalia, the assistant director, is exceptional. I feel so at ease when she has called me about an accident (my toddler is so accident prone!) and when she’s in charge. Our kids absolutely love her, she is kind, patient, firm and so caring. Ms Lady, the preschool teacher, is outstanding!! She has so much energy, treats every child like her own, really takes the time to explain things, holds kiddos accountable but with so much love. Ms Cristina and Ms Nelly, preschool, have unbelievable patience and show so much empathy for the transition. Ms Tania, in the toddlers room, has been asked by our daughter all the time - she always wants to be with her! She really nurtures her and challenges her - our daughter is doing incredibly well! Truly all the teachers are amazing, we feel so lucky to have found such an incredible place just moving here.Overall, I cannot say enough good things, attentive, caring, really focused on helping kids manage their feelings and be kind, responsible citizens! GRACIAS SFF staff and teachers for all you do!!!One final note, I did not mention anything about Spanish immersion BC we speak Spanish at home. That said, I’m so impressed with our friends kids and how well they speak it!!
Martha Marti: Our son loves it here! Everyone is so friendly and knows him by name but we especially love Ms. Elsa and Ms. Natalia!
Elian Gilarranz: Positivo:Calidad,Capacidad de respuesta,Fiabilidad,Precio,Profesionalismo
Emily Thompson: Positivo:Precio
Jamie We: So glad so choose SFF...the ladies in the babies room make us feel so comfortable with leaving such a little babe all day. Our baby always comes home clean, well fed and happy. They keep us up to date on her activity and progression as she grows. As first time parents we are learning more from the teachers than we could get from anyone else, they give us much wanted advise and tips!! Love that they have a video cam and use an appt to send feedings, naps and photos(love getting those photos mid day). If we ever have a question their directors get back to us within hours!
Sierra Pegues: Well ran day care with a detailed learning program. So far, I have had experience with the Infant class and the lead teachers as well as floaters are very actively engaged and super friendly. The staff and teachers from other classrooms speak to me in the hallways. The director and assistant director are very professional but also engaged with the students and parents. They know me and my child by name, and even give updates on what they observed in the classrooms. I recommend the facility to anyone who is considering it. Special shoutouts to Elsa, Gabby, Brenda, Natalia and Ingrid for their professionalism and courtesy!
Jamie Al-Akkari: My son has been at Spanish for Fun part time for a year now, and he loves it. Although his speaking isn't fluent yet, his listening comprehension nearly is, and he has just turned 3. The teachers are so sweet and nurturing, and they always have a smile on their faces. I love that my child is being exposed to different cultures so young, and that he has the opportunity to be bilingual at such a young age--all while in a fun, loving environment that really values young children.

Amanda Draut: to be comfortable. The staff is very communicative (a big contrast to the other daycare we'd switched from
Dee S&S: , but the director was not only non-committal, but patronizing to boot. Honestly, just putting my daughter at the head of one of the tables would've solved the problem. Let's face it - she's two feet tall. Her reach isn't exactly aquiline. The toddler teachers seemed very kind and warm, so it's a shame that their director is so off-putting. Of course I know that it is extra work to keep a toddler with food allergies safe and healthy, but if the parent is offering to shoulder 99% of this work by sending all food and drink and is simply asking for ONE small accommodation in seating at mealtime, this simply doesn't seem like too much to ask. Apparently, at La Petite Academy- it IS. (FYI for food allergy parents, if you look up this corporation's history, you'll find they were sued several years back for refusing to administer a lifesaving EPI-PEN injection for a child with some sort of food allergy. The court made it clear that this was unlawful and discriminatory, so apparently now they've turned to other, more subtle, ways to keep kids with food allergies out of their schools.

hui mei li: My daughter loves school. This center strikes a wonderful balance of preparing these littles for kindergarten with structured learning while keeping playbased learning a focal point.
Lindsay: We love the L’Academy team! Our daughter is thriving in the environment - at 2 she can count, identify colors, recite ABC, and identify the day of the week in English and Spanish. We highly recommend L’Academy to parents looking for an educational program.
Ayana Laurent: My daughters are thriving at L’academy and my wife and I couldn’t be more grateful! Skylar is very reserved at school but comes home singing the songs that she has learned in school in both english and spanish. She has also gained a new appreciation for math and counting. Amani is consistently stimulated with activities to enhance her fine motor skills and I love receiving pictures of her throughout the day. 5 out of 5 would recommend. Ms. Jina and Ms. Carol are so warm and welcoming every morning. Thank you L’academy for educating my kids and ensuring they are safe and loved ❤️
Rachel Martinez: We are thrilled with our experience at L'Academy. Each morning we are met with big smiles and I feel fully at ease throughout the day knowing our son is safe and sound. The staff is loving, communicative, and active in ensuring the students have the best environment to learn, play, and grow. The parent app they use is awesome for photos throughout the day.
Natalia Yáñez Castilo: We are having a really nice experience at L'Academy! We see our son growing and enjoying the process of learning through a Montessori lens that allows him to grow at his own pace and gain independence and autonomy.
Lauren Quick-Graham: We started going to L’Academy a few months ago. After a short period of time my son knows a lot of Spanish! We have loved it! Not only are two immersive language programs available, they use a Montessori-informed approach. My son loves it and looks forward to going every day. They have an app to communicate to parents. We’ve also had a parent teacher conference that we found informative. We love our teachers!! We hope to send our youngest there in the future. We plan to keep my son here until he goes to kindergarten.
Sarah Green: Our daughter is in the 2’s class and we have loved sending her there since they opened. The staff is kind and caring and your child doesn’t seem like a number in their class. They communicate well with us as parents and I love that they feed her nutritious meals as well. I love getting updates about her throughout the day as well. They open at 8:30, I wish they opened earlier if we have made it work.
Zhang Yinghui: I am very glad that my child is learning in this preschool school. The most special thing about this school is that it has Mandarin class. I have looked for countless schools around Cary that do not have mandarin class, but ONLY LA has mandarin class. My children are very lucky to meet Teacher Alice, who is really a responsible, caring and patient teacher. Alice treats every child as her own, so she can trust her children to them. I was worried that she wouldn't get used to school, but she really enjoyed it.
Fanyue Sun: We feel extremely fortunate to be able to send both our kids to such a great school! Obviously Ms. Alice and Ms. Maricela, as well as Ms. Jina, Ms. Shelby, and everyone staff working here love the kids and take pride in taking good care of them. I have seen a huge improvement in my daughters' social skills, independence and learning skills since enrolling. In addition, this school has a well-established curriculum, which makes the classroom activities so fun and the kids have many opportunities to explore new themes each week. We've toured several preschools in the area, and by far this one is our favorite!
MRod: with Ms. Laura is amazing! Ms. Laura is such an impressive teacher and really cares about what the kids are learning and HOW they’re learning (interaction, hands-on, experiments, outdoor lessons, creativity projects

tim zou: One of the best community college, teacher and staff are awesome the ILC is Super helpful but you do have to work extra hard for some of the higher up material. For summer classes it doesn’t matter if you’re taking it in person or online you have to use outside resources to even reach leather great C.
CW Price: If they would upgrade to canvas from blackboard it would be much better. You spend as much time sifting through files and downloading things then actually completing assignments.
Nicole Kaghat: This review is for the cosmetology program. My daughter attended the program at the school. The teachers were critical and created a terrible morale in the classroom. Their materials and supplies were old. And when my daughter went to higher ups, she got no help whatsoever. Spend more money at another program, you get what you pay for. Other students we met with had the same complaints. Students are treated like they were in grade school, instead of young adults, paying tuition to attend the program. One of the teachers didn’t even know what a blowout was! Terrible.
Alyssa Keister: Wake Tech has been a wonderful college experience. I recommend their Advertising & Graphic Design program, many of the instructors are very helpful, personable, and you can tell they are passionate about graphic design. However, if you really want to feel connected to your instructors and classmates, I recommend taking in-person classes.Dining options are not limited on Southern Wake campus. The student lounge has a restaurant and Aversboro Coffee is there. There also is usually a food truck in the staff parking lot.The ILC computer center is a great place to learn about Photoshop and other Adobe applications. There is always someone around to help you out. There is plenty of parking, though there's been many times I've had trouble finding a space. I've often had to park in the S lot which isn't right outside any buildings. The Building E parking lot is almost completely full each time I come. I think there could be more spaces for students in the lot. Besides that, almost everything has been optimal here.
Al Carey: Great place to learn welding.
Ishu Sharma: At the end of the day, its all about how somebody or something makes you feel Campus overall is good but teachers are like lobby. If one instructor doesnot like you very well, her whole group will cut you out. I didnt have good experience with my last class here. My instructor was biased and I left the class super sad and unmotivated on last day 💔 I will never recommend anyone taking that class with same instructor group again . 👎
Angie Bolden: I was asked to take a long time consuming survey as to why I applied for Wake Tech but never attended. In exchange for a $20 Amazon giftcard. It's been 5 days and no giftcard!! I picked the email option vs the mail oit option. Now WHERE IS MY CARD?!!
Toby Williamson: buen campus
Carlos Lanza Jr: As a college student in Southern Wake Tech, its a decent place to learn and explore, but it could be better if they made it interesting with new things to add in like food areas which was either one or not there when I went there, add more classes to learn more of different subjects and the Bookstore could add better equipment, supplies and merchandises if any students of Wake Tech want to support their school.
Cinthya Ponce Gallegos: Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Southern campus.
Buttercups: You remember when the pandemic started, and everyone had to start learning how to use computers? Now imagine, a bunch of teachers, creating online courses from scratch with no help. ITS A DISASTER. Its like NO ONE set a criteria for how the classes should follow a general structure, so that students aren't spending the first 2 weeks of every new class trying to figure out what is what. Its like no one showed them, "this is the gold standard"... this is what a well put together black board class looks like. The online courses are archaic. (Dr. Frear, I complained about some things and I am sorry. After seeing what else is our there( summer 2022), HOLY MOLY. Your blackboard set up is the least confusing and was by far, the best thing I have seen yet)Instructors use blackboard, not as a classroom but as a file folder system. Instead of using the platform, they made it so that every thing is word documents and or files you have to download when they could have just simply used the actual platform. I should only be downloading PowerPoint slides, worksheets, homework, etc. Not opening a document to read something you could have made a video and "instructed" us or copy and pasted to the platform.Does anyone know the definition of a syllabus there? It should be all encompassing. I shouldn't have to read 5 documents to figure out how I will be graded, what I will be graded on, the rules, the expectations, which books I need to buy. If the department has a syllabus, I'm pretty sure you are supposed to take that document and incorporate it into your own, at the very least create an addendum/appendix.My Grades should clearly have due dates, weighted totals, and all of the grade-able items at the start of the class. There should be no, imagining what my grade is at any given moment.
Cyrus Asgari: It’s joke of an institution. Don’t waste your time.
Henry Royster: Traveled a hour and half arrived at my class a hour early just to find out that they canceled without notification. So disappointing but I lived.
Andrika Crawley: They have multiple bus stops with no signs of where to go for which one. Missed plenty of buses waiting at the wrong stop. I don’t think signs are that expensive.
Cassandra Ramos: This joke of an institution has been absolutely nothing but headaches from the very beginning of enrolling to trying to get my records to transfer. Extremely rude staff including professors. No one working within the Wake Tech community is genuine or sincere. I was hospitalized with Covid-19 & 3/4 of my professors would not let me make up work missed during hospitalization. Every time I call to speak to a specific Person or department, they sound extremely annoyed they had to answer the phone— I’ve even been hung up on mi sentence. It’s almost as if they make your time here so miserable that you will just drop mid semester so they can keep your money and then scam the next naive student who is looking to further there education. Now that I am trying to transfer there is an entire new set of problems. I want to pay from Wake Tech and NEVER look back.Buyer beware- they make it seem like such a good place to earn an associates degree, certificate etc but once you’re in.. it’s not that easy.
Steven Murphy: Bookstore and library hours aren’t good for people who work a daytime job. You pay tuition for the ability to pay for an online course and receive little to no instruction. This campus seems to have spent the pandemic building round-a-bouts all over the parking lots.
hafida joulal: It's a wonderful experience for me to study at waketch community college
