The game (we did the tower), was fun, creative, challenging, and impressively interactive. As we were walking to dinner after the main conversation was about going back again. Michele N: Not a fan. The employees are not attentive at all and you're locked in the room so if there was a fire, well, you're at their mercy. We did "The Experiment" and it was not anything exciting. No storyline, plain room and inattentive employees for when you need a clue. Will not return.

Roman Williams: If you’re looking for an escape room experience, this will probably appease some who attend and want to have a casual time. However, this place provides a frustrating experience for the higher difficulties. Be prepared to be correct on certain clues but fail to progress due to old, inconsistent locks and mechanics that fail to be a fun experience to open/function. No music, lack of atmosphere, and obscure, small obstacles prevent this place from being a recommendable experience from me.

Nicolina K: Absolutely a scam!! We purchased tickets online through the escape room website, showed up 15 minutes prior to our appointment time of 2pm on a Sat. We waited until 20 after 2pm and still no owner or employee showed up to open the business. We called several times, all calls went straight to voicemail. Such a disappointment for the family. Now we have to fight for our refund.
NugsAndSlugs: Went and did all three rooms in one week with my family and absolutely LOVED IT! I have done many escape rooms most in the Raleigh area and have to say this place is the BEST! The staff (Vince in particular) was beyond friendly and helpful, and made me feel extremely welcome and excited to do the room! As escape rooms go, this one is TOP NOTCH! Thank you Amaze Room Escapes for making those nights truly memorable!
Takisha Ricks: I hate posting bad reviews but I’m getting no response. Plus my daughter’s 16th birthday was a failure. I was told about 35 minutes prior to the start of our reservation that the owner was sick. They offered me a refund or to reschedule. I told them I wanted a refund especially since this was for my daughter’s birthday. I work 2 jobs so I don’t have money to throw away. I have not heard from the owner since and I have reached out numerous times. He accidentally sent me a text meant for someone else but nothing else since. I understand you were probably sick and you can’t afford to lose money. That being said you can take people’s money and not return it especially when you offered a refund. I need my money just like you need yours. This is very unprofessional and you ruined a birthday gathering. I now have to pay back the people who were coming to the party out of my pocket.
Robert Johnston: I booked over the phone a couple weeks ago and got my receipt for booking but when I showed up with my group, no one was there. We waited around for 20 minutes and called 5-7 times with no answer. An hour later, the guy calls back with a story of what happened and offered free rooms and a full refund. That was over a week and a half ago and I have not been able to get my refund or get in contact with him via email or phone and the phone goes straight to VM. I was understanding at first but now this is ridiculous for a business owner to operate this way.
Jugnu Bhatt: We booked a Black n White room for Jan 22nd. I got a text that someone is COVID positive and please do not come to the Amaze room and We are refunding the booking amount. I have never got the refund or any other communications after 22nd January. I have called so many times, texted and I have been to Amaze room on weekend but they are closed and not responding.
David Tseng: The room was fun and interesting. However our attendant was late because he forgot that our appointment was at 2pm and got it mixed up with another group that cancelled. To add insult to injury, the attendant said they would arrive in 10-15 min and ended up showing up to the escape room 45 minutes late with a fresh cup of Starbucks in their hand, so clearly they had time to get coffee but not come in time to open the escape room up to us. We had to stand outside the door for 45 minutes which ended up being more time than it took to solve the escape room. Did not feel like our time was value by this action.

Stacie Pittard: First and foremost, Vince (the owner) is great. Truly wonderful customer service. We had a handful of kids with us (a couple of them siblings tagging along that were too small to participate much), and he was so friendly and encouraging.The room itself was excellent. I love when escape rooms have unique touches to them, and this one had a really fun twist (the Mystery Room). The puzzles were the perfect mix of complicated but doable. Although we didn't finish, after he explained the last couple of tasks we had to do I felt it would have been accomplished if only we had a few more minutes. That was very well done.Overall I think the primary thing I have to say about Amaze Room Escapes is the fact that I truly could tell Vince wants people to have fun. From the design of the room to his demeanor, I felt like he put customer experience first. We're definitely going back!

Yali: We had been running a little late and so we called to change our reservation or push it back. When we called in I was answered by a lady thinking she worked at the place and she was so rude and not helpful at all. When we got to the place, we had arrived just a few minutes late. We came in and was greeted by a lady and we had told her about the situation and she said the call center should have transferred us to the store instead of a call center. I don’t even understand why they have a call center. But the lady was nice and helped us even though we were late. The place is connected to a mall so it’s not bad but if you want to focus I wouldn’t recommend this escape room to anyone who gets distracted easily. The place has multiple rooms but they are not well decorated and the walls do not reach the ceilings so it doesn’t give the vibe of an escape room. I do not think I will be returning to this escape room due to the build of the place, we were struggling to focus with people talking right outside the room.

J T: The only reason I didn't give it 5 is that the parking situation is a pain. It's not clearly defined where you can park for the business and the lot itself is very small.

Kristin Kennedy: A great group of people runs this place! We first came for the North Pole room, and it was a pretty new room, so they were still working out the kinks (which they had mentioned). We loved it, and escaped, but Mary Lou was so great and encouraged us to come back for Tacky Christmas. We have been here twice now, and had so much fun in both rooms (Tacky Christmas and North Pole)! Definitely coming back.

Ashlea Higgins: Went here with my family for the Tacky Christmas room and there arent enough words to describe how amazing and just how much fun we all had during the hour trying to help Santa escape the chimney. We went there for my nephew and I'm telling you what, I think all the adults there had just the same amount of fun if not more than he did. The room was brilliantly designed and the difficulty level was honestly hard. Mac had mentioned earlier that it was a 50% success rate and he was not kidding. If you think you're walking into an easy win, you're mistaken. We were able to finish within seconds and the rush was thrilling. Mac was very helpful and a wonderful host for us as we made our way through the room. It was just a very warming experience, especially so close to the holiday. If you haven't already tried an escape room here, it's a definite must. I will go again, for sure!

B R: Mi familia y yo fuimos a Wake Escapes el sábado 6/17. Nos dividimos en 2 grupos, un grupo hizo Ramses Revenge y el otro hizo Exit Protocol. ¡¡¡¡Todos nos hemos divertido mucho!!!! Había 3 generaciones, edades 5 - 70+, y todos disfrutaron de la actividad. Además de divertirse, debo decir que los empleados son increíbles. Asia Truong: Fuimos 3 días seguidos y nos encantó cada vez. probamos la habitación de la jungla esta noche y ¡Dios mío, CHRIS! UN SALUDO GIGANTE PARA ÉL!!! Tan tan dulce. Todo el equipo es muy dulce y no nos juzgó por ser lentos a veces, lmao. Pero Chris hizo todo lo posible para entrar en la habitación y dar empujones, pero aun así nos dejó resolver las cosas. Este lugar es absolutamente el mejor que definitivamente recomendaría a cualquiera que quiera pasar un gran momento divertido con amigos o familiares. la sala grinch es definitivamente apta para principiantes y se la recomendaría a cualquiera que vaya con niños. El resto fácil es lo más difícil pero aún así súper divertido. Hicimos la jungla esta noche y es tan genial y único. Definitivamente vamos a volver para terminar el resto de las habitaciones. ¡Nuevamente, muchas gracias al personal por hacer que siempre sea una experiencia maravillosa!

We did the Jungle Room with just 2 people and finished with 14 seconds to spare. It was super fun and interesting, and Bryson who ran it for us was so friendly!
