Heidi Roeser: We have done 3 workshops over 2 weeks at Paint Paper Paste and cannot say enough great things about it. When you walk in, it achieves everything you want to see and more in a kids art studio. My kids had such a great time with their projects and have come home with an ignited sense of creativity. The projects they complete are true works of art you're going to need more shelves in your home. We love Paint Paper Paste and will keep coming back again and again. Well done ladies, keep up the good work!
Kristen Dewey: We had my daughter's 7th birthday party here and it was FANTASTIC. All of the kids had a great time, and the craft was fun, age-appropriate, used mixed media, and turned out adorable. The instructors were patient with the kids but also did a good job keeping them in line. Everyone who attended expressed what a wonderful party it was. Everything was clean and well-organized. We will definitely be back for classes and camps!

April Curry-Edwards: When it comes to art Paint Paper Paste is awesome. They offer a variety of classes that expand on creativity in visual art. My pre-teen daughter has taken the Fashion Illustration class, hand lettering, as well as the Bullet Journaling and she enjoyed all three classes tremendously. Nicole and Maureen are both creative, patient, talented and kind. I absolutely love paint paper and paste!
Marisa Doria: Wonderful art studio for all ages and skill levels! My husband and I recently attended a fall-themed adult workshop which was a welcome swap from the "wine and paint" trend. Maureen and Nicole couldn't be sweeter and more knowledgeable in this space; we loved that they had clear guidelines for all guests while still making it fun during the pandemic. Have also heard great things about P3's programs and events for kiddos. We will be customers for life!

Jennifer Allesi: Great art studio space with a large variety of creative projects. You can tell owners, Nicole and Maureen, have a lot of experience teaching all age groups. My daughter had her 7th birthday party here and everyone had an awesome time! They made her feel so special and I loved how they decorated the space for her party. Prompt communication during party planning before our event and safe COVID policies in place. My daughter is looking forward to signing up for more classes and track out camps and I want to try an adult classes for myself.

Sarah Regan: Raleigh Art Studio with Cornielle. The Art with Cornielle is refreshing! I enjoy her teaching style, patience, and the energy that she brings to her classes. Her creativity, passion, and love for art are clearly demonstrated in her work and studio. She is great with the kids and has years of experience working with children as an Art teacher in an Elementary school. I was a TA in a Special Need class and the students and the staff loved Cornielle. She played music with Art to put everybody in the mood for the class.I attended and assisted Cornielle's Summer Camp in 2014 and 2015, it was great fun for the students, and therapeutic for me! I totally enjoyed my time at Raleigh Art Studio. It's a perfect space for young and old to express themselves in Art at Raleigh Art Studio.

Vicki Wilkinson: Corneille is a fantastic, awesome art teacher. I told her that I couldn't draw anything other than a stick figure. During the Covid pandemic, I wanted to try to draw. And with her encouragement, I learned to draw much more than a stick figure!! Without her encouragement, I would have given up.
Margaret Henderson: Corneille is a great teacher....patient, and takes cues from her students when they want/ need guidance or technique. She is very talented in different media, and the small laid back classes are a ton of fun. It’s a great deal too on quality, fun art “therapy”! I’ve taken her painting classes for several years and look forward to every session.

Julia Russell: I read the comment by d d and felt I need to leave a review of my own. I have taken multiple classes here and I am currently enrolled in the wheel throwing class. My last class was photography, right after they reopened from the pandemic lockdown it was great!! Hands on expertise, homework challenges, and love shoots with you classmates. My photography improved and the instructor even took time to review and offer helpful feedback to each of us in the class setting. I am waiting to catch the follow-up photography class. Most of their classes fill up fast (for a reason). I think the craft center is putting out the same (if not more) quality educational experiences as they always have…I highly recommend you try it!

Faith Gregory: This school was a prison and I was so happy I left when I did. They treat their students like cattle and paid no care to most of their students.
person: This school is terrible, and that’s being generous. I went here freshman year and was given awful teachers, an unstable earth science teacher, a math teacher who always talked about how she wasn’t even good at math, an english teacher who was childish and picked favorites, an art teacher who got fired for giving us an exam with nothing we knew on it, a decent french teacher who was replaced with a terrible one who hardly spoke the language, the only decent one was my history teacher. The students are also rude and problematic, way worse than those at public school! By far the worst thing at this school though is the management. The principal did absolutely nothing and the vice principal did nothing but treat students unfairly based on how much she liked them. Attending this school was a huge mistake not just for me but for several other people I knew, at least almost half my freshman class has switched schools. I do not recommend this school at all, and I’m not leaving this review out of spite, honestly I just don’t want anyone else to have to go through what I went through or my friends went through.
Connor Bass: Longleaf has so much potential and has an amazing staff with great teachers. Although, the principle is and has been the downfall of the program. I went here for the first four years of the school and had a great experience but the current principle, I found, consistently overlooked the well-being of students. When bullying and bad behavior occured, it never concerned her. Even when students are being pulled out of the program for being the victims of the behavior, it seems to never concern the head of school. It is upsetting to see students not see the full potential of the school, simply because the head of school neglects to make sure the learning environment is safe for all students, not just her favroites.

I know my daughter is being pushed to achieve her best and being challenged not only in academics, but also in arts. This is a true community where all the teachers, administration, students and parents truly care about all students. This is a unique school that our family is proud to be a part of.
Elizabeth Love Kennon: My son started his Freshman year of HS at Longleaf School of the Arts, this year, and I can't tell you how incredible this experience has been for him. From the teachers, to the students, to the administration - Longleaf has exceeded our very high expectations!!The calibre of teaching we've found here compares with what is available at excellent colleges. The teachers are incredibly qualified, passionate, and take the time and energy to invest in the students.We had come from another charter school, and like them, but Longleaf has outperformed the old school in every way.My son is not a perfect student... he's very bright, but is also very ADHD, and we've had wonderful support from the teachers and administration, in developing systems to help him get organized with his work. All of his teachers have rallied around him, and been extremely willing to go the extra mile in communicating with me, as well as communicating with him.For the first time, I'm watching him truly thrive in school. He's stimulated, rather than bored, has made wonderful friends, and is enthusiastic about his future.I can't recommend this school highly enough!!
Karen Miller: This is our first year at Longleaf School of the Arts. So far, my child absolutely LOVES it. I also love the fact that this is a new school (second year) and we are all working together to make it amazing. While the building has seen better days, the administration has always said the school will most likely be moving to accommodate growth. And honestly, with a staff like this, I would be OK if she was attending in a warehouse. You cannot find arts classes like these in other schools here. The theater classes are the most unique learning experience I have come across in the Wake County. She also has very strong core teachers. Small classes, great teachers, amazing arts opportunities!
Lubi Lang: Both of my kids love this school! Yes, it has had, and is still having, some growing pains. Yes, the building we are in is old and functions like an old building. But, there are excellent teachers who are passionate about what they teach and who really care about their students! I find the Administration to be very easy to talk to. I have never had a negative experience in any dealings with the school or its staff. One of my children needed a lot of help last year due to medical issues and the school (Administration and Teachers) were all very supportive and accommodating to the extent that they could accommodate. We love Longleaf!
Christina Payne: 1st, I want to say that I think this school has a lot of potential! But unfortunately, without good, qualified leadership any organization will fail. The teachers are good and the kids are great, but administration is the worst I've ever seen. If you voice your concerns or try to be an advocate for your child you can expect retribution from the administration, and your child will receive the same. The School Leaders become so hostile when you voice a concern and take it as a personal attack. They will give you a ton of excuses for their behavior or for other circumstances, but for some reason they don't offer the same to the students. They hold the students to a higher standard than they are willing or able to set for themselves. It's a do as I say, not as I do attitude. This is a learning institution, and children learn by example but somehow the school leaders are missing this concept. A large number of the students have left this school this year (2013-2014), most of which left due to the leadership of the school. They have had a high turnover rate for teachers this year as well. This is all a direct reflection of the poor leadership of the school. Some teachers give tons of homework and others not so much, but I find this to be true in most schools. IMO, Dr. Broome is not qualified to lead a pack of monkeys, much less our children. She is truly in over her head. If the school board would replace the leaders, this school would have a chance of being a success!If I were to take administration out of the grading, I'd give the school 4 stars. I think that speaks for it's self! : (
