Lawrence Rollman: There were eight of us in line at the “Pro” check out, line isn’t moving at all bc of a problem the one employee working the register was having. I looked around and there were SEVEN employees in the vicinity including the lady working the register, including a manager, and only two were obviously doing anything, one was sitting in a chair looking at the people in line waiting to spend their money at Home Depot. You’d think they’d want to get your money and keep you happy getting you out quickly but my experience is that this is how Home Depot approaches customer service.

I've walked through this store on several occasions and was never greeted or asked if I needed help finding anything. Most of the staff looks to go out of their way to avoid you.The straw that broke the camels back however was when I pulled up in the parking lot at 7:59 pm to return rental equipment at 8:00 pm on Sunday when it was due back only to be yelled at from the entrance after I had loaded the equipment on the cart that they were closed and that I would have to come back tomorrow to return the equipment tomorrow morning. Thats cool except I live in Cary. My feedback would be don't tell some one to bring back their rental at 8 pm, or allow customers to schedule that return time on Sunday if you are going to be closed at 8 and not allow anyone to return their rental at that time.Apparently they did the same thing to another guy as I was standing in the parking lot writing this review. He just left his equipment at the front door.Silver lining to the experience, a team member named Janey (sp.) at least had the courtesy to come up to me in the parking lot and apologize. She also encouraged me to talk to the rental team in the morning as they usually will be reasonable due to the inconvenience. Thanks Janey. We'll see what happens in the morning.
Blane Rice: Being a native of North Carolina , I was a dedicated shopper of a competitor. Lately I've been shopping at Home Depot since I had a couple of bad shopping experiences at the competitor. I've found HD employees are very helpful at this location and I count on needing some assistance and advice at this kind of store . The availability of products seems better than the competition lately. I think I'm a convert to Home Depot.

Isabella Freeman: The worst customer service experience of my life. I made an online order back in March, it was damaged during shipment and returned to the wearhouse. I had to call and follow up on the order instead of someone contacting me to let me know, refund my money or ship a replacement. When the second order arrived I received no notification. When I called to inquire I did not know I’d be making 3 long phone calls where I was placed on hold for nearly 30 min each time and promised return phone calls that never happened. It’s almost June and I gave up on the whole thing and got my money back. This was absolutely abysmal service and I will never order a product from Home Depot online again.

RICHmike: Took 50min of being in the store to buy a grill. We stood at the front of the store for 35min waiting on RICH the manager to grace us with his presence to unlock the grill. I'm not sure how this gentlemen ever became a manager. Thank you for the rest of the staff that tried their best to help us. If I were homedepot I would greatly consider retraining RICH on proper customer service. He went so far to say he tried to come to the front, yet my wife stood there waiting the entire time with out him coming.
Randy Overton: I want to give credit to a few employees at this HD location. Shell, manager of Appliances Dept., Diane at the service desk, and Denise in Appliance sales. All three ladies were great to work with in solving a problem my wife and I had with our order and delivery. Shell made sure the delivery manager knew about what happened so it could be corrected. HD is still our go to for Home Improvements. Stock is great also!

Nick R: Go somewhere else if the tool you need is locked behind the gates.After looking around for someone to unlock one and not finding an employee I went and asked the woman at the pro counter who said she would help soon. Waited around about 20 minutes before I had to go find another employee.Also they will need to walk the tool to the register for you, even if it is a cheaper one that is locked away for some reason.If I didn't need this tool today I would have walked out and ordered it online where it was also cheaper.

There was nothing wrong with the gazebo so I was told they were unable to take any money off despite it being the floor model. I was okay with this because I was assured that all parts would be included and I was receiving the item as if it were in the box. Tony refused to take the gazebo apart and told me his night crew would take it down and it would be ready at 6am the next morning. He refused print me a copy of the directions and told me I could do it from the website, looks like I wasn’t receiving the item as if it were in the box.In the morning, I called the store and Tony did not make good on his first tee, the gazebo had still not be taken apart. I received a call at 7:30 from a VERY helpful and competent manager in Patricia. She also printed me the directions!Unfortunately my woes didn’t end there, the gazebo was missing multiple screws and brackets, making the screened in portion useless to me. It also had multiple stripped out screw and missing washers that I will have to go back and buy replacements for.I wish companies that allowed stores to sell their floor models had policies on the condition/discounts when they sell these items.I also wish assistant managers like Tony showed a little humility and grace when dealing with customers. I was willing to buy the floor model but when paying full price for an item I expect it to operate as such.

We talked to the night manager he was kind of indifferent. We gave them the benefit of the doubt and came back into shop again and the night manager was helpful with purchasing lime for our front yard he also gave us a small bag of lime because of all the problem that we had with the employee we were shocked. Today we went to the store thinking that they closed at 9:00p, we drove from Flowers to get an auger to plant some plants. They had been closed only 8 minutes because they closed at 8:00p. They were still letting people out of the store we talked to the night manager and asked him if we could purchase the $20 auger that I looked up online that they had on a Shelf since we had driven so far to come there to purchase it he proceeded to tell me hey I had problems with you a couple months ago about a situation he had no clue that it was because of his employee being rude when we talked to him. We thought he appreciated us taking the time to tell him about that problem and would give us respect. Because most people wouldn't take the time to give feedback.And they would just stop shopping there.He continued to be rude to me so I told him we will never shop there again.I hope his manager will read this.I think he needs to find a different job that doesn't involve customer service! I hope corporate reads this.
David Evans: Right off 540, this is easy in and easy out. Clean store and helpful staff. I used the tool rental section and they were nice enough to help me load it in my truck with a lift (saved our backs!). The tool rental is new I think because everything there was in great condition.

TBD: Be warned about opening a home Depot credit card. You will be offered a promotional plan with no interest for 12 months. However, when you go to make a payment you are given the minimum payment due. This IS NOT the promotional minimum due to pay off, interest free for 12 months. This is a minimum payment that will stretch the payments past the 12 months and then you will be charged interest. Very deceitful! When I called to request that my payment correspond to my 12 month agreement I was told that it couldn't be done. That I was required to take the total due, divide by the 12 months, and then pay that amount. Are you nuts! I'm required to calculate myself and remember to pay that amount vs the account to automatically bill the correct amount. Consumers be very aware of what I consider fraudulent payment plans that won't pay off your account as you legally committed to when you signed up for it. Home Depot knows exactly what they are doing to the consumer when communicating a fraud like this. I cancelled my card immediately and will no longer do any business with this company. Don't allow yourself to be caught in this type of situation. There's plenty of credit cards that you can get that will stretch out your payments, with no interest, that are actually honest.

Ronald Clifton: The worst management of any lumber yard I've ever encountered in 40yrs. Could not help me get all the online prices from my cart. The manager herself transferred my list incorrectly and cost me over $37on what should have been a $98 purchase. That's not all the mistakes and on top of that they took a long time to do it because they were complaining about wanting to go home on a Sunday evening. I would have been better off if they'd never come to work. I give one-star because the guys that loaded the lumber were fantastic.

Waited on hold for about 30mins before she finally picked up JUST TO TELL ME THAT THAT STORE NO LONGER ALLOWS PHONE SALES. I was trying to place a small order for pickup for a crew (3-2x4x10s)- I wanted to pre-pay so they could be in- and out quickly. My company's main store to shop at is the Fuquay store. No other Home Depot does this. IT IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. The lady at pro said I had to either run to the store to place the order or place the order online which i had to do..... ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE SERVICE! I would give 0 stars if i could
