Tiffani Melendez: This location seems to always give me a problem. I order through online delivery and I always have a meal missing, I don’t have a car at this time and I literally had to take a cab back each time to get my order corrected. The people that work there don’t pay attention and are in a rush to get people out, people spend money and they want what they want how they want it simple! It never fails I have an issue EVERY-TIME & I order from this location because it is usually the only one available but I don’t think I’ll be ordering there after today. If you want your food done properly and packed correctly please refrain from ordering at this location.

So I decided try the KFC close to my work on Six Forks today on 5/5/2023.Have to say it was the worst KFC my family and I have ever had in three states!The chicken was dry, overcooked, obviously fried in old oil, and tasted burnt. Spices? Didn’t taste a one. The mashed potatoes tasteless and runny. Not quite potato soup but extremely close. The gravy tasted burnt, bland, and had a very oily slimy texture. Maybe watered down with some of the old oil from the chicken? To top it off the biscuits were rock solid. Neither my children or I liked anything about the meat and our dog turned her nose up to a piece of chicken! If that tells you anything. The franchise owner should be ashamed and embarrassed of themselves. The management team should have some form of quality control. And KFC corporation should look into this particular establishment because it gives all KFC restaurants a bad name. I will follow up with a phone call tomorrow about getting my hard earned money back and I will be happy to bring them back the food I bought for them to eat!

I was even going to drive back around for my gravy since I know some restaurants don’t do add one at the window but the manager over heard me I’m the background and she said add the gravy. It just made my day because I was on my way into work and didn’t have time really to drive around but I love the gravy there so it was gonna have to be worth being late. Melinda Mathews: I had to wait a little longer than I usually do at most places to be acknowledged initially but the food was good, staff was friendly, the restaurant is clean and eating atmosphere is relaxed and feels nice. The kid that helped me was probably 17 but was friendly and professional at his job. I was in the mood for Mac and cheese and as always KFC Mac and cheese never disappoints. I guess he had never took a order before?? He seemed very lost... we ordered 3 meals paid $32.00 to only have received 2 meals. Went back, and the manager looked dumb founded!! We finally got the order, once we opened the box it was still wrong, no sides and instead of a wing and a leg in this order we received two breast. Not sure what was going on there, it was a bunch of people working, and looked as if the manager was the only one doing anything!! We won't be back.

Shane Armstrong: Just plain nasty. I rarely go here because I’ve had really rude interactions with the manager here in the past as have many people I’ve spoken to. I’ve even seen her tell an upset customer to leave who wasn’t even being irate. It’s been a while and I thought maybe she’s gone so it was worth trying again. Boy was I wrong. I didn’t see that manager this time, so I don’t know if she’s still there, but the food was really nasty. My wife got the correct order, but her food was stale and chewy. We primarily went because I wanted to try the new Mac and cheese bowl. Instead I received a mash potato bowl, which I didn’t know until we got home. I tried to eat it anyway, but it was completely gross. The chicken pieces were so old and chewy that I couldn’t eat them. The mash potato and corn mixture tasted like a cross between chemicals and spoiled corn. I’m still wondering if I’m going to get food poisoning before the night is over. I definitely will not return here. If I do get another craving for a KFC dish, I’ll make the drive to Apex to the one near Beaver Creek. It’s nothing stellar, but for KFC, it’s decent and the food is much fresher. Hard pass on the Harrison Ave location. Go next door to Zaxby’s instead.
