When they were contacted about myself and my partner painting murals on the sidewalk across from them, the shop owner Christine went above and beyond to support our project by offering us access to their space for storage of our supplies and other needs. We painted for almost 3 weeks and could not have finished our project without this shops support. They are REALLY here for the community. The owner is extremely kind and generous.On top of this, they have a fantastic array of books for children AND adults (in the back). I bought a book on "they" pronouns for my mom and my dad bought a book on conversations about race. They also have awesome art, and art supplies for beginners! The store is incredibly cute, kid friendly, and well-stocked. Even though I am an adult, it's my new favorite bookstore. The selection is very diverse and the staff is knowledgeable and can inform you about anything they have stocked. They also have a lot of really unique graphic novels.

This is a beautiful store front filled with carefully selected books for children of all ages. There’s also a few reading nooks for kids, an art section, and an adult corner. Edward Engelhardt: Awful experience. Had my original renting price doubled due to a representative adding insurance fees (which I did not need, due to having my own insurance and also booking insurance at the time of reserving the rental) and have had no attempt to reimburse or even try to make things right. The staff member (not even behind the Dollar counter) simply mumbled something with the word insurance thrown in, which I believed to be him asking me if I had insurance. Turns out that was his way of making even more money. $700 for a 5 day rental is absolutely ridiculous - I had a rental for 3 weeks with enterprise which was nearly the same price, no funny business. This is completely inexcusable and truly shows why the company is called ‘Dollar’ - it seems money is the only thing the company actually cares about. I will surely not be using their services ever again, and strongly advise others to follow suit. I am still awaiting a response to how they plan to make this right. I’d give 0 stars if the option was available. Terrible business & business model. This will be reported to the better business bureau as well.

Shannon Keith: Only rent from Las Vegas Dollar if you want to wait a ridiculous amount of time. Even with 5 people working. Literally all other companies have no lines at all.
Pamela Howard: I had forgotten that Dollar tried to charge me for gas fraudulently the last time I rented from them. This branch did it again. $10 a gallon for gas when I returned the car full and filled it less than a 1/2 a mile from the return location. They charged me $20 and the car was full. I spent 2 hours of my time chasing down their customer service to have them take it off my bill. These people are total scam artists.
Spencer Pierce: The car itself was great but getting the 97$ toll fee bill was shocking to say the least. I was never given options on how to pay my tolls or how they even worked. they charge a 15$ admin fee per toll. for a .76 cent toll I owed 15.76 and so on. for a total of six tolls totaling to 97$. I will never use dollar car rental again.
Chopper 1981: I paid 168.44 for a FOUR HOUR rental out of MHT in NH. I would love to know why Enterprise rents the same size car for 86.00 a DAY. I also would like to know if Dollar stands behind their name in being fair. I am retired, a Veteran, and that charge was exorbitant to say the least. Thank you for your quick response.

Charles Merulla: This past January 2023, I had 1100 miles to go before my 5000-mile oil change. I decided to visit my daughter in NC and have a Toyota dealer do a simple oil change—I live in the northeast and it’s wintertime, so changing my own oil was not my preference at that time. Anyway, my daughter made an appointment with Leith for an oil change. I told the service individual that I wanted an oil change and tire rotation and not to leave the tire pressures alone as I have already done so. Upon picking up the car, the video from the service tech stated that he readjusted my tire pressure to 33 psi according to the car placard. I was not happy as I traveled 45 minutes to the dealership and the tires were warm and when they cool, the psi can lose 2-3 lbs. Then I’ll be down to 30psi and I’m traveling to Florida after visiting my daughter. Anyway, I told the service rep that I wanted the psi adjusted to35 psi since the tires were warm. Upon seeing the individual adjust my tire pressures, I noticed that the psi on the tire he was working on was up to 53 psi—yes 53 psi, this is not a typo. I told him to stop and I proceeded to adjust my own tire pressures to 35. He told me that it was his first day. Fast forward to July 8, 2023 and time for my oil change. While changing my oil and to my displeasure, I noticed that the oil plug gasket was crushed; it’s supposed to be torqued at 30 ft lbs. Pictures are attached. Additionally, I could not get the oil filter canister off with a 10 in ½ drive ratchet, I had to use a 14 in wrecking bar to break the canister free; the torque spec on the oil filter canister is only 18 ft lbs. If these people cannot train their mechanic’s on doing a simple oil change, I have to wonder what workmanship would be on more difficult tasks. Obviously, I will never go back.
