Lisa Wiggs: Holy CATS! John & his sons came today to do a cleaning & inspection before I switched over to logs. They showed the me structural damage inside the firebox ( my bricks & blocks on the bottom and across the back were cracked badly.) Also showed me the potential for water damage in the flashing area, which I had already experienced ( ruined ceiling! ) They had the foresight to bring all the necessary equipment in case i wanted them to do the repairs, which of course i did. I can't BELIEVE how gorgeous it looks now! ALSO, they discussed with me in depth the process of installing gas logs, the different types of logs, the method of gas usage, & the pros & cons of each. They discussed the mechanics of a chimney which I really appreciated & never really thought of in depth. Overall, an amazing experience with total pros ( certified CSIA ) who worked hard, cleaned up when they were done ( !! ) were super helpful, answered all my gajillion questions, and never made me feel stupid. Hopefully they will be back to install my logs & LP tank. Also, excellent communication throughout ( making appointment, showing up within the "window," keeping me in the loop. ) Photo documentation provided after inspection as well. Just Brilliant. SO glad they were able to come to my town. SO grateful to all of them for their help, their time & efforts. Prices for Level 2 cleaning, inspection AND repair very reasonable. Thanks so VERY much!

Dan Rutt: Scam artists. Yes, I accidently called and booked an inspection from an email they sent telling me it was time for my chimney inspection. I did ask, "this is inspection to keep the warranty from the work you did?" the response was YES this was my annual inspection of the chimney and gas logs. I later realized that I had scheduled the wrong company and cancelled but they refused to refund the deposit. They knew DAMN WELL I had only got a quote from them but never had the work done because they were over priced and quoted items totally unnecessary to make the repairs. They refuse to refund a $75 deposit. Not only did they prey on me, they are attempting to steal business from other companies with their underhanded tactics. Go anywhere for chimney service but here.

Champloo Sloppy: A Mr.Smoke Stack truck just passed me going around 70mph in a 55 zone and I was going 60mph. The lanes were double soild and they almost caused an accident with incoming traffic. Not smart to drive around crazy with your company logo wrapped around the truck.

Sabrina Kay: The two technicians who came to my house gave me a call 30 minutes prior to them arriving which was so helpful! They were so knowledgeable and took time to explain everything carefully to me! They took good photos of the inside and outside of my chimney which arrived immediately in my email inbox, and they gave me good advice on how to proceed this coming winter. I asked them several questions about a job that had just been done on my roof which affected my chimney, and they gave me excellent advice. They took their time, cleaned up very carefully, and were extremely polite and respectful. I felt comfortable having them in my home as a single female. This is the second time I've used their company, and I am so glad I did! I absolutely highly recommend Mr. Smokestack--I feel my chimney is safe and ready for winter when it arrives. I wish I could give more than 5 stars!

Then we got a call that same day they had a cancellation and could work us in almost immediately. Marian Buis: Smoke Alert is most amazing! They are so professional and thorough. We had 3 non working fireplaces that required new liners and other repairs. They did everything in a timely fashion and took great care to make sure no ash or soot got on the floors or rugs. We had a few minor issues after they came and they responded immediately and had a repair tech to our home with a day of calling. Everyone who worked in our home was super knowledgeable and courteous.
