I informed the store multiple times that I was in the hospital for a few weeks and would like to arrange a payment seeing that I was unable to do much during my recovery. Instead of receiving assistance I was repeatedly talked down to by a store representative named Matt. I have records of a 10 minute conversation with the gentleman starting yesterday at 5:56pm demanding I leave the hospital at that moment and find my way to the bank to pay. Definitely not the direction I expected it to go. If ever you consider an furniture store PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS LOCATION! Definitely consider Rooms to Go or even Rent-A-Center before giving this location any money. It’s not worth the stress.

TD Crouse: I really do like COSTCO because of the culture, the pricing, the employees, and the quality with guarantees. Thankfully, I did not buy anything with home delivery, and will try not to, ever again. Since they started contracting out their home delivery, no longer using their own employees, their Home Deliveries suck. COSTCO has long been recognized for how well they treat their team members, and their Customers. By treating team members well, those associates took great pride in treating their Customers well. Now, the Home Delivery companies, at least the ones in the RDU area are subcontracting out to drivers who have no benefits, no health insurance,and who hire their own helpers. COSTCO took great care in assuring that delivery associates had background checks, and safe driving habits. Drivers were not forced to make 50% more daily deliveries some days, with no overtime comp just because management could not find, or keep good help. Contract drivers have no recourse if the delivery company demands extra hours for extra deliveries. These drivers must find, and finance their own equipment often, making them more susceptible to unreasonable demands. Those demands often mean putting tired teams in Customer homes, after arriving in poorly maintained equipment.I need some new appliances, and 2 years ago would not consider shopping anywhere else.After 4 failed delivery attempts on furniture, and Home Delivery problems with tech as well, COSTCO has shown me that they don't want Home Delivery goods anymore. I will not try to force them to sell those items either.
