I am no stranger to Thai or deep tissue, but I loved the blend of Thai techniques and relaxing strokes, and I felt terrific after the session. I was honest about MAYBE being pregnant (less than 4 weeks if so) and my appointment was denied in person, after budgeting, paying, and scheduling time off to have a massage with my mom for our birthdays. I was offered a refund or credit, but I opted for refund because I’ll be trying to get pregnant and will have to wait an additional 2 months before I can use their service if so. Please put this on your site/during the appointment making process for clients. I was very excited for this due to the reviews and even though it was handled decently in person, I really wish I hadn’t spent the time or money in the first place.

It was a first-time experience for my friend and she was well pleased. It was not my first time, but it had been a while since I was there. I kept hoping that the service had not changed. I am so happy to have received the same great service I was used to and to bless my friend with such a pleasant experience. The price increased the week that I booked, but it was well worth it. Mariss: I have been carrying around the weight of the world on my shoulders, neck and feet. I heard about the high praises at this foot spa, and made a last minute appointment for this Easter weekend. I was happy to hear back from the business via text offering to accommodate me. Lauren was kind and professional. I decided on the Girly Spa Package Deluxe. My service started with an ionic detox in a private room with a reclining chair. The detox therapy uses negative ions to cleanse the body of toxins. The ions attach themselves to the toxins and then are flushed out through the feet, which are immersed in a saltwater bath. You are hooked up to the machine and place your feet in a bucket to soak. The bucket was uncomfortable to me. Not so relaxing. There are several quiet signs surrounding the spa, yet the customers continued to have private conversations that I could overhear. I would advise you to bring headphones, if you want to nap or be at peace. The spa is small, so conversations do carry from the foot spa stations and reception desk. The rooms are kept very cold, I would advise you to bring a snuggy or fleece blanket. This made it hard to relax.My feet were dried and wrapped for the keratin skin treatment. I didn’t notice any difference in my feet after this service. The massage was the best part of the service. Betsy gave a through massage with a decent amount of pressure for 60 minutes. This involves shoulders, arms, neck, hands and feet. The hot stone to finish was great because it warmed me up. I feel light as a feather now. The service ended with a spa pedicure. I decided on the peppermint essential oil for my water. Your services are done by separate staff, so keep that in mind. Someone does the pedicure, another person paints your toes. The paint job was thorough and I was happy about that.I was very pleased with the staff here. Everyone was welcoming and kind. Other than the loud noise level and cold temperature, I would return for a massage service.

Reese R: Sadly I wasn’t impressed with this place. It took me a long time to come there and pay over $60 for a pedi, but the reviews were so good, so I gave it a shot. First you start with “reflexology” which was a nice man aggressively rubbing your legs from the knee down and feet, which actually hurt. Not reflexology. Then I was moved to a lady who did the rest of the pedi, but didn’t even cover my nails with the polish. Parts of several toes were missing polish, nails weren’t filed straight, and left polish on my skin. I was disappointed with the quality and will not be back sadly.

C Williams: Vilma is terrible. The pedicure was rushed & not enjoyable at all, I didn’t even get a chance to relax. This is the 3rd time she’s done a horrible job on polishing my toes and someone else had to fix, so I finally asked for her name so I can request to NOT get her the next time. She trimmed my toenails and then asked afterwards if she’d trimmed them too short, as if there was something she could have done after the fact. The spa itself is nice, but she is consistently awful.

I love how I was able to make an appointment on their website….talking on the phone is not really my favorite. I made an appointment for the “signature pedicure” two weeks ago so it totally slipped my mind what I signed myself up for. It really was a relaxing experience. The atmosphere wasn’t loud at all, and the leg massage was the Cherry on top. I never know when my toe polish is dry so I always smug it without fail.There were two women that stopped while I was under the dryer to check to see if my toes were dry, it’s always the little things for me! During my massage I had the option both my hands and legs but chose just the legs! I loved that this spa was for pedicures only and will definitely make this spa part of my self care treat routine!

I realize that we are grateful to live in a country with religious freedom and free enterprise. Equally, God gave us freewiil and made us all perfectly different. I also respect other's religious preferences but I'm glad that the owner's of Cary Massage choose to let it be known who their King is and I will continue to do the same. You never know when your witnessing, in whatever form, may cause someone to turn to Christ and experience the unequalled, amazing, unconditional love He has for ALL. Sure, this business decision could turn some people away, but in the end when this world ceases to exist as we know, God will say "Well done, my faithful child. You did not deny me." It's beautiful that we live in a place where we have religious freedom and if someone chooses to go elsewhere because of the Christian decor, that's okay too. Cary Massage will continue to thrive because God promises victory to His children. I do have complete respect for other cultures and religious beliefs. I continue to patronize a nail salon that has a temple set up for their god and displays Buddha throughout the salon. That is their choice, just like I could choose to go elsewhere.) I would say the only downside is the machines can be hard to get at peak times, but that’s to be expected. And some of the paper towel dispensers have a hard time dispensing the paper towels for you to clean the equipment properly. But those are minor and understandable inconveniences. Overall love this gym and their service.

When I informed this associate what I was looking for and if they could point me to the men's products, I was quickly informed "All the products here are gender neutral, but yes we have a wash for beards." They were obviously, annoyed with my 'ignorance'.I'm all about equality, read some of my previous reviews, about other negative experiences related to inequality. But it's just unnecessary to have to 'educate' customers like this, and not with the attitude. I didn't come there to offend, I just wanted a nice Valentine's gift for my husband. And show my child what a Mall shopping trip is like.When I go to a store looking for kids stuff, I ask for the kid's section. When I go to the store looking for women's items, I ask for the women's section. I don't ask where is the gender neutral items, because I assume anyone can really use anything. Help me get to the things I need faster, because as a customer that's what I'm looking for. Sorry if this is offensive or traditional thinking, but it's how things are organized. I've been walking this earth as a Black Asian woman for 40 years, please don't come at me about the struggles.This was just a really awkward experience. The first time I shopped at a Lush was over 15 yrs ago. I love the store, but this doesn't make me want to come back anytime soon.Additionally, the rainbow bomb we purchased tinted my son's skin a reddish tone after his bath.And the fragrance I purchased, Lust, the smell disappears very quickly. $65.00 for 1oz of fragrance that vanishes in an hour? Come on. I regret not getting the receipt and just taking everything back.
