The day it arrived, 1/13, the box was damaged so Walker opened it and ensured the equipment wasn't damaged; cudos and exactly what I'd hoped for. All's well that continues well, right? Wrong. Not a week later -- 1/20 -- it was dead; nothing I tried would fire it up. Sooo, I called Walker who said bring it in as soon as you can which I did 20 minutes later. Walker dropped everything he was doing, questioned me about the specifics and opened the case, unhooked the battery, waited and a few moments later all was good and I was on my way; 30 total minutes from panic to production.Now, imagine I had bought the laptop through Dell. The nonsense I'd have endured, the time lost and the aggravation is incalculable. THIS was precisely the reason I established the relationship with Walker and PC Max and I could not be happier; it was the right decision and I cannot recommend it and PC Max enough. Howard Kline: Cannot thank Alex and Walker enough for the help today. I had to switch the cooler on my PC, and no longer had the brackets to mount the new cooler. They were able to pull some brackets off an old motherboard and save me 2 weeks of downtime. They then helped me install said cooler and a new SD. Incredible guys, and quite knowledgeable in their craft. Best place to go for Computer help.
teddy grahm: I custom built a PC for my brother-in-law but couldn't get it to start. They found the motherboard was incompatible and replaced it. All in all it was a quick turn around 2-3 days max and the cost plus labor was extremely reasonable. They're really reasonable and down to earth. Would highly recommend them to anyone looking for good work at a honest price.
Jamie Murray: Called this store (12/18/2020 at 2:30pm) to see if they had a DVI-D to VGA adapter and sounded like I was on speaker or something. When I asked if they had one someone laughed at me. I ask the person on the phone if someone laughed at me and he said “yeah it was my coworker”. Will never call, contact, shop, or even go on their website ever again! I will do what ever it takes to get people to go somewhere else! Laugh at me again!

The checkout counter is in the far left corner of the store, so when a customer intuitively approaches the counter at the right side of the store and is ignored by at least four store employees until the customer speaks up, some training should be conducted. The staff, obviously used to customers coming to the wrong counter, should not ignore one standing there. Rather, politely direct the customer to the other counter and not be sarcastic about the signs hanging high in the air that no one is looking up at.Customers are not always right, but they don't have to spend their money in an an establishment that ignores their presence.

I was told that it was on UPS, but who is your contact at UPS. Who was the driver that day of pickup. What is the help that I can expect to receive from your business instead of...here is the claims number for the refund. Can't we not try to find the paper. Next level service should be implemented. I will never send out something from this Staples again. I know that this may not be the fault of the beautiful lady that prepared the envelope, UPS has a very low rating recently. I didn't know this. But...if this were my business, I would have tracked down the driver by calling my contact with UPS and tried to solve it for my customer.

I found her a chair with the arms that swing up so her work space in the living room could be a little more condensed after she stopped for the day... When i got the box home on December 23rd it turned out to be a "returned" box with warn out parts such as the lifter and Seatback that some a...hole american pulled a fast one... I brought the box back immediately since i lived near by and every associate i encountered was overly Pleasant and anxious to right the wrong... no nearby stores had the item and it had to be ordered from the Warehouse. As I said it was Dec.23rd and they guaranteed that it would arrive on Monday. Well, the chair arrived on the next day... Christmas eve.. all new and very satisfying.. Kudos to everyone involved... especially associate Mary who checked the other stores and put in the order.. She is a recent graduate of N.C. State.. and everyone who reads this should acknowledge her accomplishment in these CRAZY TIMES.

S T: So yesterday I needed to get a new sketch book. I've gone through my fourth one in two months. I'm an illustrator working on a hand drawn series.I'm in search of a sketch book with 70lb pound paper. After a few trips to other stores, I try Office Max.The staff is absolutely polite the moment I walk in. I would give them 5 stars there without hesitation. I find the sketchbooks fairly quickly and have even brought in a reference sketchbook of my own to make sure the paper is about the same.Voila! I find one that fits my needs exactly. They have a few different options on the sale tags. 30 page book for about $8 and 150 page book for just under 20. The 30 page book can be found on the rack. No 150 page but I do see a 75 page book. Perfect, still what I'm looking for but let me go get a price on the 75 page book.I'll bring it up to the front and it scans in as the same price as 150 page book. Well I certainly don't want to pay the same price is a 150 page book. A staff member at this point follows me back to the Sketchbook shelf to figure it out. He was confused too.Ultimately in the end the 30 page book was marketed as what it is listed on the book - a 30 page sketch book. Instead of marketing the 75 page sketchbook as it is listed ON the book too, they listed it as 150; counting both front and back of the pages.I chuckled and said quite the deceptive and misleading marketing tactic. It was obvious from his reaction, he could understand why I made the statement.Again I don't blame the employees at all. The staff there was absolutely wonderful to deal with and he tried to rectify the situation by asking if I wanted to open an Office Max card. It would lower the cost of the sketch by $10, which would make it around the price it should have been. But I declined. I just needed the sketchbook and even though it was overpriced, getting back to work was my main focus.

I wasted time coming to this location, and as soon as I left Staples, I received a cancelation appointment notice, which should have come to me directly! This is poor customer service!

She remembers me from prior visits and is always eager to assist with questions I have. She takes time to ask questions to better understand my needs and then educates me on options. Requested three copies of a bound project with tabs inserted that I designed on the Staples website, and the print desk workers were unable to figure out how to make it. Giving two stars rather than one because they frantically tried to make it right but ended up more confused in the process.

Liza Elarbee: I went today to get a pack of Avery Business Cards. All I could find were shipping labels, address labels, tents, everything but business cards. I asked a gentleman that works there where I could find them? He said this is all we have and you can use these for business cards pointing at a pack of multiple shaped labels. I politely said, no, these are not business cards and not the right template. He just shrugged his shoulders and walked away. I continued to look and found exactly what I needed at the very end of the same isle. When I was checking out I saw the gentleman training a new associate. Very Scary!

Tim Bradley: I ordered apparel for my business and every time I have called or stopped in, they tell me that it was ordered from a 3rd party company and they can not track. Today, after waiting for almost 3 months on this apparel, I stopped in again and they said the order was never placed. I don’t understand, how they can get away with this. Multiple calls and multiple visits (and it was a reorder) being told that they couldn’t track it and then all of a sudden they said, they never placed the order to begin with.

Tara Green: The staff at this store are very friendly and accommodating. They made the purchase of a new printer quick and easy. We had some issues related to the printer software 7 months after the purchase. HP gave us a hard time about not having the paper receipt from the store in order to cover us under the warranty. The manager of this store was very friendly, quick to help and had a copy of the receipt to me in a few minutes. I will definitely shop here again for my office needs.
