SAB: Inicialmente tuve una experiencia decente al momento de comprar mi pintura aquí, pero no recomendaría ni volvería personalmente aquí. Tenía un endurecedor extra sin sellar que llamé al regresar a la tienda y me dijeron que lo trajera y no hay problema siempre que no se abra. Conduje hasta allí y luego las mujeres que salieron dijeron que tenían una política de devolución de 30 días. Esto fue después de que llamé unos días antes y les expliqué que era necesario devolver el endurecedor adicional y dijeron que mientras no se abriera no había problema. Ni mi recibo impreso ni la conversación telefónica con el representante dijeron / dicen nada sobre una póliza de 30 días. Dice claramente que no hay devoluciones en una pintura mixta personalizada, lo cual es totalmente comprensible. Entonces, después de mi largo viaje y hablando con las mujeres, ella entró y habló con alguien y volvió a salir, para luego decir que no pueden retirarlo porque no podrían saber si estaba abierto. Hablando de excusa tras excusa, ya que estas latas tienen un sello de fábrica y un dispositivo antisabotaje, le mostré que era muy fácil ver si la lata estaba o no abierta. Kerry Sarna: Used the online estimator tool and was given a quote and the ability to schedule an in person meeting. Scheduled an appointment, drove to the location and was told that their system was down and the estimator was not on site, but was on the way. When the estimator arrived 45 minutes later I was told that it was first come first serve and I would have to wait for the other 2 walk in customers to be dealt with first. I patiently waited about 30 minutes longer until my vehicle could be seen. Before it was barely glanced at I was told that there was rust in plastic areas of my vehicle that are impossible to rust and that the vehicle would require significant amounts of body work. I explained that I was not worried about the one small ding in the hood or the cracked plastic. I explained that I just wanted the peeling clear coat to be sanded off and that the lowest level of paint to be applied in order to bring life back to my work truck. The unprofessional employee explained that it would be over $1000 more than the estimated cost and that they would not warrant any of it due to having to sand off the clear coat. The entire time I was spoken to with false claims and as if I was naive enough to believe any of them. If I could rate the operational capability and customer service a zero I would. I have had 2 previous vehicles painted by Maaco… not sure what happened over the years.

Barret Kurtz: You get what you pay for, my paint has a lot of debris trapped inside from them letting it sit outside too soon. I also noticed several runs and imperfections along the hood and doors. Overall not that bad, but for the price you pay I would expect a little better.

Went back they said give it some time it will “cure”I took it to a different maaco since I moved to a different state. The guy told me this is the worst paint job I’ve ever seen. Maaco Raleigh needs to call me to pay the new shop since there is a warranty on a paint.Raleigh shop is refusing to call. He said I will not pay the other Maaco. We are franchise. You have to pay a prorated warranty. I Pay for something they didn’t even do right the first time. On top of that, the paint we needed to match was 5+ years old, which makes it even more challenging to match.Store associate Collin was extremely knowledgeable and helped to recommend the next best line of paint to match the finish and texture, and he went back and forth several times until he had an exact match to the color we needed. Craig Judkins: Affordable Auto Works is my shop for body work on my cars. The work they do and customer service is one of the best I've seen. I had my rear bumper repaired and it looks better than when I got the car! The customer service from Miller was above and beyond. When we had problems getting a rental car through insurance she spent a long as it took to get me in line for a car, and when they had me scheduled 4 days or to get a rental she worked her magic and I got a rental in 2 days. She stayed in touch with me with updates until I was on the road again. The repairs took about a week when other shops couldn't get us scheduled for months. Nick Willard: I've been trying for months now to get my car in their shop for a full paint job and everytime I went there, there was always no time to put mine in the shop. They've told me multiple times to call specific dates each month so they can take my car because they're schedule should be open, but they kept filling their schedule, Even for people who showed up way after me and not contacting me in any way saying there's a available spot for you. No other paint shop wanted to do my paint job and y'all gave me big hopes just just tell me that y'all can't do it in the time frame I want anymore. Ive been trying for almost a year now to get my car in their shop before the end of this July. No one else but y'all said you could do it and I hate to be the one giving a bad review but that's really messed up to play someone like that. Just tell me you can't do it from the start so I can try and find alternatives, and not waste me time on the hopes that they can actually paint my car.

Paendabear: Visited this location to get a look at some paint colors and ask about good painters in the area.The staff member Justin was very helpful and let me know of a couple of painters/groups he could recommend. If the visit ended there it would be a 4 or 5 star review.But it isn't. On my way to the car I was stopped by two homeless individuals and accosted to try and get them some food from the nearby McDonald's. Behind the building was another individual which I can only assume was pouring a 40 oz over the pavement. I have no idea what was in that can but I didn't stick around long enough to find out

Joshua Wearley: Since I moved to Raleigh, I have been purchasing paint from this store. After a year I stopped in to get some paint and was told they have no interior paint that matched my criteria. I asked if there was a different sheen that I could potentially substitute, was told "if I didn't believe him and wanted to go in back and check I can." I was merely asking to see if there was any alternatives. Last year the staff was kind and helpful, that has changed drastically with this little smart mouth. Will find an alternative store to purchase paint from that isn't a Sherwin Williams franchise. Thoroughly disappointed.

Cassidy Pritchard: Had a really wonderful experience at this location off Peace St in downtown Raleigh. Was immediately greeted and assisted, the staff person helping me (Shirt said Delshown I believe - sorry if I got name wrong!) was extremely knowledgeable on the different paint/finishes, and I was in and out in no time (he even loaded the several gallons into my car for me). Although the store started to get busy after I arrived, all staff remained cool and collected and had the line running swiftly and efficiently - I was impressed, especially when folks are all anxious right now regarding crowds/covid-19. I was a little overwhelmed beforehand with all the options and spending hundreds on paint for a whole house, but left feeling pleasantly surprised on the ease of the interaction. Would recommend Sherwin Williams 100% due to quality of products and customer service received! Thanks

Josh Bailey: Worst sherwin I’ve ever been too. I go to sherwin every single day and this is by way the worst. Over an hour and a half waiting for them to match paint and they still couldn’t get it. Went to the next closest one and they did it first try.
David Brainard: What can I say - I needed Sherwin Williams paint and wouldn't you know it... they had it here! So I give them four stars right off the bat for that. Then they were able to explain all the different sheens and even listen to me complain about thinking I had eggshell when it was actually flat... And then the paint ended up being on sale, so five stars for sure
