M&N: We recently went to all 3 local GameStop locations in the same day. My son who is 7 and just getting into games, wanted to look at EVERYTHING before he spent his Easter money he received. Every location had a friendly staff but the Capital Blvd location goes above and beyond. Not only are they very knowledgeable but really talked to my son on his level about what he liked to play and not just to me, because I was the adult. I appreciate that and I think my son did too. I enjoyed the interaction and kindness. This location will be our go to spot from here on out. Thank you.

As I walked out of the bathroom, I was stopped by an employee and the security guard. The employee asked me if I took a pink cell phone box into the bathroom. The box was for my bra...that I walked in with. So I showed them my bra so they could see and asked them if they wanted me to get the box for them. They didn't. The employee wasn't wrong for checking the security guards claims but the security guard needs to pay attention and/or think.
1ncChief: Understaffed as usual. Found what I was looking for on shelf above unorganized display, hunted down a rolling safety ladder and got it down myself. Would have been just like shopping at Home Depot except couldn't check myself out.Had to stand in line for 10+ minutes to wait for the (1) cashier. Would definitely have used Amazon if I hadn't needed item right away.
Matt Baldwin: Had a nice experience here a couple days ago. No waiting and plenty of staff to help answer questions. Considering there aren’t many computer stores anymore, it was nice to be able to walk in and grab some specific computer related items without needing to order online.

Kayla Champion: So I’ve always had a positive experience at this location but recently these guys helped me out so much that I just had to write a review. So long story short, I have TMJ, basically my jaw is in pain all the time and when I game with my over-ear head phones it really puts pressure on my jaw and causes me so much pain I usually can only play games for a couple hours before it hurts too much. I was casually talking with the guys working (I truly wish I remembered their names so sorry) when they mentioned the Atrix E-series pro wireless headset. They let me try a pair on and it was the lightest headset I have ever put on and could tell immediately that this wasn’t going to cause my jaw to flair up. I have literally gone through 10 different headsets (paid over 500 bucks trying different headsets) only to always have this issue. While they didn’t a pair at the store they could sell me they went the extra mile and let me know of every store in a 5 mile radius that had the E-series. I was able to pick one up and for the first time I was able to game without being in pain. The sound quality was amazing, and they only cost me 50 bucks. Sorry for such a long review but thank you guys so much for taking the time and going the extra mile. It truly has meant the world and I just can’t thank you enough.

A Anderson: Took a loan out on my hunting scope. The objective lense cap was broken off and I fully disclosed the flaws prior to any transactions. Mind you that was the only flaw. Upon reclaiming my scope I noticed after unwrapping it, that the front lense cap had been broken off...when I addressed the manager about the damage she initially offered me $35 dollars. When I showed her that it was going to cost me $60 to replace the now broken front lense cap, that's when the theatrics began. I quietly left as I saw my complaint was not going to be resolved... I get the mentality of the pawn industry, like all industries the intention is to turn a profit... don't have a problem with that... but I do have a problem with immature, disingenuous, low life POS. How anyone can be that deceitful is abnormal, shameful but most of all pitiful. Can't speak to the conduct or demeanor of the other Picasso Pawn store managers, but as for the manager of the 1609 Capital Blvd store...she's about as low as they come. I would definitely recommend taking your business elsewhere.

Lashonda: Poor customer service. I called the store the young lady answered the phone RUDE. Then she left me on the phone on hold for over 6 minutes while she checked out customers, talking and laughing with her co workers. Oh, you will never get my money again!!

Black Beauty: I'm a lifetime gamer so I'm always at the store getting a new remote when I burn it out. I go into this location , with the controller and the cord and I'm told by I guess the staff member that is in transition (female to male )with dreadlocks that I could not get another controller because I didn't have a sticker or bag . And that is what the staff member in transitioning manager told them to say was policy whenever a customer has come in without the sticker or bag. Needless to say I called another location and they said that is not true. Most purchases can be looked up in the system . It can it just takes time sometimes because it can show up to two years of history but it is do able without a sticker.. I'm going to spend my money and time somewhere else where people take their time to help me.

Josh York: Canceled my order on a game because it was reserved by someone else about a week ago, although company policy only says to hold reserved games for 2 days. Called the store, the guy told me he couldn't sell it to me because his boss told him not to. Edit: called corporate after leaving this review, told them what happened, they said that this was unprofessional of the store and ended up shipping me the game to make up for the bad experience.
Clif Carter: I really like the help I get and the chats the staff and I have at this location. Crazy knowledgeable about new releases and older games, as far as explaining the gameplay/story, so I can make an informed decision. And very nice/easy to talk to. I pre-ordered once from here and the game was ready for pickup as soon as the store opened in the morning, the day of release. Great job!
