Brianna Stuart: Baby Jess, Joey, Yaya, they were absolutely stunning with their performance. And I'm from reno NV so I have high expectations but the second I came here they were extremely friendly and kind and I had the time of my life and everybody was absolutely amazing. I 10000000% recommend coming here. They were so nice to me even as a tourist.

El Bridge: The food isn't particularly good, neither is the service. Don't get me wrong, the bartenders are always perfectly friendly, but they usually won't walk your food or drinks to you and won't necessarily tell you they expect you to come back for them. But they have a large patio out back and usually at least one or two decent beers on tap. It's usually pretty empty so there's plenty of space and privacy for your group, usually. Don't walk in expecting a British pub. The only traditional food on the menu is fish &chips (but it's not very good) and they're usually playing rap inside, not folk. I think they're mostly just a bar that occasionally hosts soccer-related events.
kevin daly: People we’re good. But not all what I was expecting from the title(name) of the pub. One would think the establishment was bridging the gap between here and the UK; make one feel they’re in England perhaps without being there. Between what I read about the pub and the menu I saw it wasn’t even close. Went in Sunday about seven; “the menu” was a short list of options and nothin close to resemble being in the UK. Example I ended up getting a burger off that list (listed for $12) ended up being charged $15; the same burger I saw on the menu in the site for $8. Oh and the tip options threw me off; you have the choices of choosing 3,5, or 7%; never seen that before. Need to up that so your people can walk away with some more In they’re pockets.

Kyle Fetaline: Great vibe on the rooftop bar and was mostly shaded at dinner time. Flies were expected, but the ant army was unwelcome. One of the servers clearly put their thumb in the coleslaw, leaving a smudge trail on the plate. Our waitress disappeared after confirming food was delivered, never to be seen again.Drinks were good and menu prices were quite reasonable. Everyone enjoyed their food. Despite the flaws, I’ll give it another try someday.

I agree with another post saying slaw was meh, but I'll still order again. Hubby enjoyed the bangers (sausages) abd said the mashed potatoes were really good. Also came with delicious onion rings that I ate! Dipping trio appy was yum too!We dined on a Friday around 6pm before the rush. Perfect time for great service!

AJ Breeding: I came here on fathers day 2023 with my father and we had some of the worst service ever. Food was subpar. The time we were there wasn't even that busy. The cocktail menu is not overly ambitious but they are doing a great job delivering the classics. This is definitely a great place to take someone from out of town who’s looking for standard cocktails with an upscale aesthetic.

Falan E: I visited Watts & Ward for the first time Sunday evening after 6 pm. The staff at the entrance was welcoming. Watts & Ward is downstairs in a basement-like space. Cute space with vintage aesthetics which is very nice and comfortable with plenty of seating. The overall aesthetics of the space and comfortability is a 4*. A few things on the patio seemed out of place but overall a nice space.This particular evening the bartender in The Mud Room demeanor was not friendly, or enthusiastic. That individual didn't demonstrate good customer service warranting anything over an overall 3* based on my experience. Even the person cleaning off the table didn't engage any.I had a Hendricks mule, not in a mule cup. The lemon and ginger were overpowering - way too much carbonation. I like that I get more bang for my buck in the tall glass but as a courtesy, the bartender could share they don't carry the copper mules. This would've leveled up the experience. For me, a copper mule cup is necessary for a proper Moscow Mule.Customer service usually inspires me to return places but in this case, it's the space and others who have enjoyed themselves. Mariss: Watts & Ward is a unique 1920’s themed speakeasy style bar located on S. Blount St in downtown Raleigh situated in the basement of the Montague building. It features 4 bars, The Mud Room, Main Bar, Patio & Library. I have visited twice now and enjoy the grown & sexy vibe and diverse mature crowd here. The staff whom I’ve interacted with appear to enjoy their place of work and take pride in that. I visited recently on a Sunday when service was slower during the holiday and this evening for comedy night. The service was excellent tonight, the bartenders were very friendly and bar service was offered while seated. I’ve ordered the Far East Ricky with Tanqueray Gin, Lime, Cucumber, Mint and a Egg White and the Penicillin with Johnnie Walker Red Label, Ginger, Honey, Lemon, Islay Scotch and enjoyed both. I love the classic jams they play as well. Good music. Ryan who worked the door tonight urged me to return for live jazz on Thursday.I really enjoy how the Prohibition and Roaring 20’s vibe is carried throughout the venue. It makes you feel like you flew off a page of the Great Gatsby. This venue is huge and features a beautiful garden patio. I look forward to returning for the live Jazz night, patio and more comedy.

Joshua Abantohollans: Great pub with a speakeasy vibe! Once you go down the stairs and through the hall, you encounter several rooms that resemble a private library and several bars servicing them. But the real treat is the outside patio area! Super comfortable & relaxing yet still true to it’s prohibition ambiance!

GB Crush: I got egg on my shirt, so yes, a darn good brunch was had! Forget the over-cooked omelets you could have at some of those over-crowded brunchy joints. The eggs of my 'Full Irish' were perfectly runny, the hashrowns perfectly ready to soak up the yolk, and the breakfast sausage had that lovely crispness you want when you slice through the skin, but was oh so juicy and flavourful. It's a certifiable nap on a plate. Also their mini potato pancakes are to die for, crispy, just salty enough, and much to easy to share out of someone else's basket!Did I mention service is tops here? They may be understaffed according to the sign on their door, but everyone who came to the table was attentive, friendly, and more than willing to help. They were also more than happy to find answers to our allergen concerns! Staff like this are why regulars come back to a pub, and when you see a granny waving at a strapping hulk of a server because she knows him, you're in the right spot!What else do you get? Well you get a real pub with dim lighting in the back (perfect for a retreat from a hot summer's day), and you also get kids during the day (as you would expect for a proper pub). There's a descent selection on tap. The restrooms are two genderless toilet closets that are well cleaned and well kept (and have tiles missing from their wood wall trim, somehow perfect for the atmosphere). It's a very homey place and I'm sorry I only discovered it now, in the middle of the day. I'm definitely looking forward to coming back again and trying more on their extensive menu...and also doing some night drinking. So far though, its an 11/10.(The only knock I might have is the lack of rashers and puddings in the Irish breakfast -- but in this country it's hard sell.)Adecuado para niños: Welcomes kids as any real pub should. I only have to 2 issues, and they are pretty nitpicky, but I like being mean with my star rating, what can I say? When there is live music, I literally cannot hear anything and talking with coworkers or friends while here almost becomes a non-option. I love the music, can we get it turned down? Also, for an Irish pub, the Irish stuff seems lacking from the menu. It's got the basic Irish stuff and the stuff you'd expect at a bar, and it's all really yummy, but I'd like more Irish options, it's an Irish pub after all.

Ran zid: A cosy break from huge chain restaurants and bars this makes you feel at home from the first minute , the staff are excellent in getting you what you need in a very welcoming way.It's also one of the very very few places in raleigh where you can get irish/english/European bacon (yes its different) so my personal favorites are any of the burgers and the full Irish breakfast.Parking is easy , disabled access is good and the drink selection is extensive to say the least, so definitely check this place out.
