Jim Noble: I have ordered and paid for a control board under warranty several months ago. I have received two plastic parts( not needed). However, I have never received the control board that was ordered. I have spent 90 minutes on the phone getting placed on hold only to have it happen over and over again. Keep getting pushed to other people only to be put on hold again and pushed to someone else. This is totally ridiculous!!!!

Nobody ever showed up. Again, people are busy so I called the office to check in the afternoon and give them a second chance. Got their voice-mail, left a message, and never heard back. Don't risk it with them unless you have an extremely flexible schedule and a non urgent issue.

This caused us the customer extreme frustration! The technician could not make our original four hour morning repair window, so I called to delay the appointment to another day since we would not be able to support the technician in the afternoon. I spoke with the phone schedulers at 10:15, or so, to reschedule to three days later. At 12:18 pm, I received notice from Sears that the technician is on his way. I once again called the schedulers to re-state we were not able to support the technician in the afternoon! This time I cancelled the appointment. At approx 1:00 pm, the technician arrived, and I turned him away as we were headed to the airport to pickup a family member. At 1:01pm Sears Home Services sent an email stating we were charged $103. This is outrageous! I called the phone number again to complain, and received assurance the $103 will be refunded. I was informed, I need to call back tomorrow to follow-up and ensure the credit will be properly applied. Restating, Sears Repair has a major gap between their phone team that supports customers, and the dispatch team. We had a similar, but less frustrating situation with these two Sears teams during the pandemic…We are convinced, we will never again call Sears for appliance service, repair, or installation!

Raghava Yenigalla: I called them in January for the service for a product which was under manufacturer's warranty and it's June now, there is no update on the service. Manufacturer sent them the parts in February but they told me that they din't receive the parts and that I filed the claim in incorrect manner, after making me waiting for 5 weeks. Manufacturer registered the incorrect date, but Hopkins was afraid that they will not get the money for the claim and din't wait until I clarified the issue with the manufacturer. By the time manufacturer registered the correct date (needed closing documents of my house), Hopkins sent the parts back to them (and they lied to me that they dint receive the parts). I knew this only after I contacted the manufacturer later and they told me that Hopkins sent the parts back to them.They accused me of filing the claim incorrectly while did nothing wrong and they dint care to check with manufacturer or me. I called them just like i called them before regarding other appliances which all had correct date (all were registered on same date) and they performed the service without any questions.My product was under manufacturer warranty and has extended warranty for 3 years and I still dint receive any service. They din't care to hear about what I had to say. Very unprofessional. If only they waited until manufacturer fixed the issue (which happened in couple of weeks), this delay could have been avoided. It was already difficult to get the parts due to supply chain issues and they amplified my problem, on top of lying.Their tech was good, but administration is unprofessional. The lady talks to me like she is doing a very high stress job and doesn't have time to neither explain or nor hear what's happening. They don't care about customers.
