Glenn Million: They supposedly close at 9pm. You better get there before 8pm though because these people are lazy. Walked in at 8:23 on the spot and we were told they only have white meat chicken… makes sense they probably only cook a certain amount a day. We said that’s fine… and moved on to the sides where the lady behind the register listed of maybe 4 of the total amount of sides they have… we asked for fries and they said no we don’t have any… we then asked for fried plantains… we quickly caught on that they have them they just don’t want to cook them. So I asked and she said “because we are closing”, um excuse me it’s 35 minutes before the times it says you close on the door. Typical situation where they are lazy and want to all be able to leave right at 9pm. I hate places like this that value themselves on the customer service they provide when they really don’t. Glad they are moving, won’t be going to the new location.

Robert Greene: Really good food - my favorite thing were the Peruvian drinks. Apparently, this is the only place that serves them. Often, the music perks up the atmosphere even more.
newag718: This place used to be good but they got rid of their green beans and the chicken was smaller and dry last time. Go to Alpaca if you want good Peruvian chicken and the amazing green beans that Mami's used to have.
Ziad Noueihed: I'm very disappointed: This place used to be so much better before Covid: The food, the rotisserie smells, the seating area, the atmosphere, ...First time I go back after Covid, and unfortunately it seems to have changed for the worse: Much "colder", very impersonal overall vibe. No fountain drinks (only bottled drinks...), you have to ask for condiments (ketchup, sauces, etc), silverware, and (tiny) water cups (the only drink available self serve...). As for the food, the chicken is (very) dry, especially for rotisserie (and I had the dark meat...). The sides are a hit or miss: For example, the rice is very dry but the fries are very good, and this applies to other sides. The green sauce is delicious.The only thing that is still really good is the Staff: Very friendly and helpful.It really pains me to leave such a review as this used to be a great, tasty place which had personality, and which I really liked. It has unfortunately definitely changed for the worse
Jaime Ochoa: Place was busy, although the food coming out of the kitchen did not appeal to our Peruvian senses. It was appreciated by foreign palates though. And they had good flow of customers, then again the dishes were not presented as traditionally made Peruvian food. The rotisserie chicken was charred black. And the meats looked dried up. They had a combination of Hispanic dishes, which probably meant that the cooks were not Peruvian and were presenting their take on Peruvian food.

J Lipoff: We waited a very long time for food, which we never ended up getting because we left as there were cockroaches crawling around the table. Received a refund at least, but no one seemed concerned when I informed them of the German cockroach situation. Go to Alpaca instead, which has the same cuisine but is clean, fast, friendly, and cheaper.

Risa Dee (Aria): Conveniently located near Rex hospital and the many provider offices around the area.Ordered the half-grilled strawberry salad and shredded chicken arepa combo. It was very good. The arepa is not too thick, so I can really taste the meat, pinto beans, plus the jalapeño sauce. Next time, I'll hold off on the chicken or protein on the strawberry salad. It's fine by itself with all the nuts and apples with the balsamic vinegar.

BD: When visiting this establishment, I recommend carefully reviewing your bill each time. Unfortunately, I had an experience where I was overcharged for an item I did not order. It was also disappointing that they didn't clarify the additional cost for guacamole, especially considering the restaurant's name is Guasaca. Consider holding your tip until you have received your service.

Scott Hutcheson: Wife and I visited for the first time in a few years. It used to be delicious, but this time it was very different. We went in around 5:30pm on a Tuesday and the food all tasted old. My wife and I ordered the fried chicken arepas and the "fried chicken" was just breading, there was literally no chicken in the breading. The arepas did not taste fresh. They did make my wife a new fried chicken arepa, but I had already eaten mine before I discovered what I was eating. I also had the grilled chicken, but it tasted like it had been sitting around for awhile.It was extremely disappointing.

Jordan Cao: Consistently delicious. A good option for lunch during the work day. Food is tasty and ingredients are fresh. I've not had a bad meal here. I have had to wait a couple times for them to cook whatever protein because they ran out on the serving station, but they do tend to be quick enough when they happens. It can get a little noisy if it's really crowded.

Sean Malone: Su menú es algo difícil de pedir si intentas personalizar algo, pero la comida vale la pena. Recomiendo encarecidamente el pollo con aguacate, el pollo crujiente y las arepas de bistec.Si las arepas no suenan como lo tuyo, los tazones también son deliciosos y muy superiores a algo que podrías conseguir en Chipotle.

Unam: Mis amigos y yo visitamos, tomamos arepa de pollo crujiente y pollo con aguacate. En cuanto al sabor, la arepa de pollo crujiente es muy, muy agradable, mientras que el pollo con aguacate es un poco saludable y también es un poco costoso que el otro. Cuenta mi amiga que es muy buena cocinando que el pollo con aguacate queda muy jugoso, como pollo adobado. Lo recomiendo. Desde mi perspectiva, siento que estos son un poco más costosos de lo que esperaba.

One guy was just sitting quietly at their outdoor seating using the shade and a seat, and they made him leave. I don’t think I can support a business that lacks compassion for the less fortunate. The business wasn’t even busy.
