Oh, the Gobi Manchurian is fabulous!

Deepak Patil: Heard about this place from friend so tried while we were on this side of the town. Amazing food and excellent service. We went there for lunch just before noon and place was empty. Ordered tandoori chicken, bhindi masala, chicken curry, roti and garlic naan. We were surprised that this place served complementary papad which most if not all other Indian restaurants have stopped. Tandoori chicken came with some curry and salad on the side. Chicken was juicy and full of flavors. Naan and roti were soft and fluffy. Bhindi and chicken curry was really good too. Service was one of the best. Staff was very courteous and took extra effort to make us comfortable. Plenty of parking outside. Restroom was clean. Price is comparable but few extras make it well worth. Much better option to most of other Indian restaurants in triangle area.

I got the butter chicken, and it was so good!! The prices may seem a bit expensive, but the portions end up making the price very reasonable. As a smaller woman who doesn't eat huge portions, I'm able to turn one order into two separate meals!

Otherwise it was good. Tandoor roti was little more crispy but naan was very nice and soft not chewy.

I asked for 6 of the spice scale and the dish was not spicy at all. I think they charged me for pickle which should be free as a condiment. It was sweet and not to my pallette either. Poori was nice and so was rice and chai tea, though the tea lacked spice as well. Nice staff. Pretty good over all.

In my experiences this only ever happened with the buffet, never ordering fresh off the menu. Every once in a while the tandoori would be dry, service slow, etc. Out of all my visits I’ve had probably three where, if it were my first trip, I’d probably not return. Heck, twice I’ve shown up and the door simply locked and Nobody inside. But they try really hard and are a small family restaurant so I give them a pass. He says he is considering adding a buffet or maybe on just Sunday lunch or something, but for now no. But he brings out all the favorites and lots of it and lots of bread. It is better than the buffet as far as freshness and taste. Incredible flavor on everything. Compare with any other Indian restaurant in the area and the Taj will win. At lunch he brings out huge metal plates with about six things (the other day it was tikkii masala chicken, butter chicken, saag paneer, a samosa, two very large pieces of tandoori chicken, plus rice, the bread, a salad, and desert if you want it. And, he asked if we wanted any other items or more of anything. It is a little unusual but is worth getting used to!

Riyas Mohamed Sherif: Food was terrible. Whole family had stomach ache and flu after eating. And biriyani is like gravy mixed with white basmati, not even taste like biriyani. I never tasted goat gravy that bad.

Chicken Korma nothing but chicken bones with small amounts of chicken. Definitely would not recommend drive on by. Too many incredible Indian restaurants to choose from.I hate leaving a neg review.

A E: I mean it’s open at two in the morning which covers a multitude of sins. The mango lassi is decent. I did not like my lamb ground lamb but again it’s three in the morning so… The staff was I suppose, reasonably present at that hour and so positive take away overall.

Samantha Haslam: First of all the sign on the building has a different name than this one, I had no idea if I was at the right place, the cooks/ dishwashers were all outside talking about how "good I looked", the guy at the counter was paying more attention to his phone when I walked in then looked at me like I was stupid when i said I was picking up a doordash, they give you the smallest amount of rice, and I have never heart Indian food referred to as bland but I will be the first to say this is FLAVORLESS. The city won’t be missing much when this restaurant tanks.

I just moved to Raleigh in October & haven’t had chicken tikka masala since I left Fayetteville along with my favorite local Indian restaurant & this might have them beat. Made my heart & my tummy full lol. My first time ordering from them & next time I am definitely dining in. Loved it, no complaints at all.
