Stephanie Davis: I think this place is delicious. I always try one of the nightlyspecials with a glass of wine. Pasta is fresh and great flavored sauces.
Jose P.: Farina has a good thing going. The food was excellent, wife and I did a couple apps and entrees a piece, pics attached. They also have a great wine pairing and overall beverage selection. Our waitress was great, attentive and chill, but not in a way where she forgot about our table. Will definitely be coming back in the future! 🍝
Stephanie Toney: The menu selections are varied and cover a wide variety of appetizers, entrees, and desserts. People in our party sampled the wood oven fired pizza, seafood, and dessert. The service was excellent and the food was delivered very fast. The atmosphere is excellent with one exception - the temperature of the restaurant is rather hot.
Elizabeth Groeschner: I went to a birthday dinner and I wanted to bring a cake so I emailed them to see if that was ok and they wanted to charge me $20 for an outside food fee. Absolutely ridiculous and I have never been charged at any restaurant I have done this with in the Triangle. The ac was broken and it was terribly hot and we were not told this ahead of our reservation for 15 people and they did nothing to compensate us for being miserable. The server was pretty good and so was the food. The marinara had too much heat. Not a great experience overall.

My family came here for a birthday celebration for my father and we ordered an appetizer of calamari, the chicken marscapone, shrimp and scallop pasta, and chicken with gorgonzola cheese sauce. Each dish was so flavorful, and with large plates we had enough for leftovers. Service was outstanding as well. Our waiter had good recommendations and was attentive enough without being over the top.

All enjoyed out appetizers including bruschetta, soup and salads. The dinners of steak, gnocchi and pasta were also perfectly prepared. Stephen Johnson: A genuinely quality dining experience in center city Raleigh. Suggested by both my mother and my native Italian stepfather, ingredients appear lovingly prepared, presentation is simple and clean, and the atmosphere is welcoming both to families of younger children and first dates (as evidenced by the starry-eyed pair dining beside us). Highly recommended!

Shawn Googins: Having just been to Florence Italy we ran across this place and I saw pictures of dishes I had there and in Tuscany. Mulino didn't dissapoint with authentic Italian cuisine. Service was excellent, the atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. I had the burrata, and the Tagliatelle with the bolanase which was fantastic. The Italian ice cocktail was refreshing and not too sweet, the Tiramisu was on point as well. We'll be back!

Robin Mehera: It was a warm summer Friday evening. We wanted to try out an Italian spot as we don’t frequent Italian joints often. We were nearby having some adult beverages and saw this was close. Despite not having a reservation they were able to seat us inside. Though we wanted to eat outside, it worked in our favor as it decided to pour rain all night.The service was a bit slow and took us some time to order. Their cocktail selection wasn’t the best and the taste of the bourbon beverage I had was a bit sweet.The pasta itself was good, but nothing amazing. The best part about this restaurant is the atmosphere, but outside of that, not worth the price.

J. B.: Gorgeous spot. Love the water spot in the courtyard. The outdoor ambiance is absolutely stunning. A little difficult to get to using Google Maps and parking is tight. Fresh pasta, drinks and food were delish. I was not a fan of the cannoli, nor the fact that you have to pay for the bread. I had the pasta bolognese and it was very good. The shrimp and calamari could have been more flavorful. I'd definitely go back, I bet it's stunning in the outdoor section at night!
Maria Doyle: My mom, my cousin and I were originally seated in the bar area (the restaurant was busy) and five minutes later the manager got us a table. He made us feel at home. I ordered the spaguetti bolognese and it was so delicious! The Crème Brûlée was the best I have ever had, when I cracked the caramel layer, it revealed the best tasting custard. The service was excellent, I will be going back soon.

G H: Pros: The food was delicious! The owner was kind to greet us at our table.Cons:The Tables felt a bit sticky to touch.We sat along the booth and we were sweating by the window! Ask for a shaded table. At the end we felt like we were being rushed to pay by our waitress but the restaurant wasn’t even half full.Will we be back? T: Overall liked this restaurant, it was very quiet for a Saturday lunch. I noticed that several of the tables had not been wiped down and the booths had crumbs all over them. We were given a wiped down table but our booth did have crumbs.I ordered a Medium pizza my husband got the chicken Caesar, chicken parm, and tartufo. Really enjoyed the bread service with the flavored oil. Pizza was very good but a little pricey for the amount of toppings they give (paid $4 for onion and mushroom and only got a few). I think next time I may try a pasta dish. Recommend skipping the tartufo because the ice cream texture was off (icey/grainy). Husband really liked his Caesar salad and chicken parm. Chicken parm portion was generous.

Jeff McFarland: The bread was bland. The veal was very overcooked. It seemed like it had been cooked ahead of time and left to stew. My daughter-in-law had the chicken parm and she thought it was ok. They were busy so I can forgive a little slowness, but our waiter told me 3 times he would refill my drink before coming to tell me they ran out of Pepsi. There was a girl who seemed to only bus tables but we sat there for 15 min with empty plates waiting to be taken and she just stood there. All the while, the waiters were running all over the place. We won't be going back.
