Christopher Smith: We FINALLY got to try Fiction Kitchen, after years of wanting to! The food was incredible, we got the Lion’s Mane Rangoon to start and the Chick’n n Waffles andRisotto for entrees with the Mac n cheez and pimento cheese fries as sides. Everything was fantastic! Can’t wait to go back!

Jon Pugeda: It’s been a while since I’ve been here and I’m glad I was finally able to get a reservation. Absolutely love the vibe inside. The staff is very accommodating and friendly, and the food superb 🏽! We started with the Lion’s Mane Rangoons and Spring Rolls. Both were done well and had really flavorful sauces that accompanied them. For main course we got the Peanut Noodles & the Risotto. The noodles were 🔥🔥🔥!! (Make sure you add the fried tofu). The risotto was cooked perfect and the added crab cake completed the dish. For dessert we had the blueberry dulce de leche cake and it didn’t disappoint. If you want to try an amazing restaurant with an amazingly creative chef, Fiction Kitchen will not disappoint.

Dan Miller (HighTechGeek): It's a great way to see the cutting edge of vegan food technology done very, very well.It's not necessarily healthy with a lot of deep fried, batter-dipped offerings.It's not exactly fighting against processed foods as many meat and cheese substitutes are a multitude of chemically processed mystery ingredients.But it is definitely cruelty free eating.It's also a treat for vegans craving comfort food or to show carnivores what's possible on the other side. You'll definitely put on a few pounds here and go home full and satisfied.The location is kind of a dive and the windows were rattling continuously so violently and loud to the point where children were scared and I fully expected them to shatter due to Red Hat amphitheater having some techno rave event a block away, but they held for the 2.5 hours we were there.The staff are super attentive, nice and fast.Get your reservations well in advance. Street parking can be difficult.Platos vegetarianos: Everything in the restaurant and on the menu is veganAdecuado para niños: There were kids there. It's family friendly.Estacionamiento: There was an event going on downtown (which is often) so street parking is difficult as they don't seem to have any dedicated parking for the restaurant.Accesibilidad para sillas de ruedas: If you can get to the sidewalk in front of the restaurant, there are no steps preventing entry, but it is on a slightly steep road. There's no handicap parking and no dedicated parking. Just street parking.Restricciones de dieta: They specifically asked us at the start of the meal if anyone had food allergies. They also have notes on their menu regarding gluten free items and 3 other categories (can't remember what they were... nuts maybe and 2 others) for those types of preference. In addition, everything in the restaurant is vegan.

Dana: I am not a vegan (I want to be) but this place is delicious! The mozzarella sticks YUM!! And our server (hey B) was amazing. Great drinks too!
