Overall I like going to see what new items they have.Update: this is now one of our regular grocery stores. I've noticed we shop mostly on the right side of the store; produce, meat, cheese, dairy. And mostly stay to our list.
Polly Rodriguez: Brilliant store.Inevitably there's a surprise bargain or a new product.They do carry plant-based meats and nice organic products.Never pass up the weekly specials aisles - the place for good quality items that you didn't know you needed 😉You will want to try their bakery items + German sourdough, croissants and more. They even have a bread slicer!!Wednesday is when they switch out the weekly specials. Produce is always good and there is always something on special.

La mejor parte es que puedes comprar lo que quieras en la cantidad deseada. Tienen precios competitivos y más bajos, PERO la calidad es regular. Como decir que BUENO Y BARATO NO PUEDEN IR JUNTOS. Para las comidas del día a día y algunas cosas es bueno. No todo. Su personal es cortesano. La tienda vende artículos más baratos, lo cual es bueno para familias numerosas, niños pequeños con ingresos de clase media. Sus algunos artículos son más baratos que Walmart.Aldi, que está a 1/4 de milla y Walmart está a aproximadamente 1 milla de esta tienda. Son los mayores competidores de Lidl. En general, me gustaría visitar esta tienda para comprar algunos artículos, ya que estoy seguro de que los conseguiré en esta tienda.

Jordan Weidner: Holy cow the experience I just had was insane, I’m a younger looking guy I’m in my 20s, this old man anger pops out from the corner and yells at me to put my pop on the counter. I told him I didn’t need an employees direction and he proceeded to stare at the customer behind me waiting for a reaction. The man wanted nothing to do with it, on top of that the very nice cashier apologized to me because of his behavior. She even went as far to ask me did I know this gentlemen because of the way he was speaking with me. I feel disrespected and I’m definitely taking this to corporate. I’m sure the cashier would back me up.

Denise Ball: A very nice store but you should have a list to shop with. Some grocery/produce was not marked sufficiently well so as to know if the prices shown are peritem or per pound. Tomatoes in the vine were marker $3.29. At the keister they were $4.99. I would have put them back but my friend bought them anyway. Does the register alter prices when scanned? We had a big shop. How many more altered prices I wonde? Since we have to scsn ourselves, please make sure that you are not being overcharged.
Johnny Cameron: Best prices in town. This market is clean and bare bones. They have a cart system where you insert a quarter to release the cart, then it pushes it back as you return the cart. Bring a quarter, or you will be irritated. Also, bring cloth bags, recycled bags, or pay a few cents per bag at checkout. This is a brilliant way to lower operation costs and therefore the cost of food. This is not the place to go if you want 10 varieties of every product and a coffee bar. This is where you go if you really want to save money on groceries. The produce is always fresh, as the meat and bakery. I try not to buy milk here. It seems not to stay fresh as long. The generic brands are actually delicious. Highly recommended... just be prepared for the caveats of shopping carts and bags. The savings are worth it!

La razón que escribo esto es para agarrar la atención del dueño o el que está a cargo de esta tienda. Ni se como se llamaba la señora a cargo de entrenar a las cajeras pero si les dire que ella es la razón porque siempre están buscando ayuda. La manera en que ella le estaba hablando a una de las muchachas nuevas me dio una rabia que ni con decirle a la señora que no le hablara así me calmó. No se quien es, ni de donde es, ni cuánto experiencia tiene, pero le dire que eso no me importa porque alguien que le hable así a sus empleados obviamente se le botó las canicas. Y yo lo puedo decir con total franqueza que si en mi oficio yo le faltaría el respeto a un paciente como ella-al ni siquiera mirar en mi dirección al decirle que le tuviera más paciencia a la muchacha, yo no sólo perdiera mi trabajo pero jamás podría encontrar un trabajo en mi especialidad. Y por la mala actitud de esa señora les estoy dando solo un estrella. Como supermercado hispana esperaría mucho mejor y por lo menos nosotros deberíamos tratar a nuestra gente con dignidad.

Nova Star: Went to pick up a few items and was followed in the store the entire time. Each item we looked at was counted and restocked by the attendant which was odd but continued to shop. While in the line another Hispanic attendant walks almost bumped into my child, this was the last straw for me. first I though she was a shopper and till she approached the cash till to cash my items. She started to rush me and we exchanged words. A month later I went back and she told the police to follow me for whatever reason. The police walked around my vehicle and scanned my license plates. This store is racial profiling and discriminating to people of color, I am black female with locks and I cannot shop freely without being harassed and followed in a store. I will not support this store anymore and no one should. Close it down.

Tania Poo: Había escuchado mucho de éste lugar pero nunca había venido ya que no me queda tan cerca. Uno de los motivos, sino es que EL MOTIVO que me trajo hoy aquí, es que es el único lugar que he encontrado desde que vivo en este estado, las tortillas que más se asemejan a las tortillas mexicanas. Aprovechando que estaba ahí pues compré otras cositas y le dí un tour al lugar. Está bastante grande y muy bien surtido. La cantidad de tipos de carne que vende me sorprendió. Quizás la carne (en mi opinión, que es solo mía) no se veía tan fresca, pero en cuestión de abarrotes el surtido es enorme.Yo en casa cocino TODO tipo de comida (estudié gastronomía), pero el día que quiera hacer unos buenos tacos en casa, definitivamente vendré hasta acá para comprar las tortillas!!! 🌮🌮🌮

Ginny Tessitore: Great staff, good selection, always clean. Best butcher department ever, such a helpful group. The fish is the freshest selection I've found in Raleigh. Parking is insane at lunch. Not a fan of picking up groceries, they don't ask about substitutes, they just pick what they think is a close match. I haven't been pleased with their selections. All in all, it's a great place to grocery shop.

CD Upchurch: Excellent staff.Most produce is excellent, except for the Cuties brand bagged mandarin oranges.Most prices here are high. They especially like their dairy and cheese items which --although they are essentially comparable with dairy products at Food Lion and Harris Teeter-- they price dairy items $1-$2 higher at Whole Foods, presumably so they can keep these items for THEMSELVES!Priced for Hot and Cold Buffet items (entrées, sides, soups, and salads) are as high as if you went to a restaurant. Most of these items are fresh and tasty, but the last time I went, everything was much SALTIER than usual. Pick carefully because some items get dry and stringy under the heat lamps.Nice indoor and outdoor cafe areas.* Make sure you have the Amazon Prime app on your phone, so you can get your Prime discount at the register on selected items, because just putting in your phone number or your member ID number at the register doesn't seem to work like it used to.
Jessica Hildebrand: Not sure if it's just me, but the salad bar doesn't seem to stay refreshed. It still meets my need, but I used to crave it and now I only go bc it's the one place I know that still has a salad bar.
Diana Cameron McQueen: Everytime I come here it's worse. I don't blame the employees but rather the organizing management. One of my favorite things was getting the only vegan sandwich at the sandwich station. They curtailed the hours to when I'm never there citing lack of staff... maybe pay people more? Then I finally am at the store during those select hours but now they make you fill out a custom form even if you just want different bread. And on top of that they just don't have the bread (regular sandwich bread) Anymore. Just shut the stand down if it's that much of a hassle. Clearly the employees hate it and management thinks it needed to be tweaked.Other than that as one of the only major chains that carry new or consistent vegan items they always seem to be out of everything I buy. I guess this just isn't the store for me anymore.

SaraD: This is a first-class gourmet grocery store featuring a delicious choice of fresh, organic foods. There are options for ready prepared convenience meals or most all basic essentials to cook it yourself at home. They have a stunning floral department with on-staff professional florists. Their meat department features delicious red meats, fish, and chicken and always a friendly and helpful butcher to assist you. In the deli department, their cheeses and desserts are exceptional. They also offer a large selection of freshly prepared entrees, salads, sides by the 1/4+ pound. An excellent choice of wines are available along with several aisles of healthy snacks. It’s not cheap, but you undoubtedly get the highest quality here.
