Andi Laska: Dr. Cvetkovski is one of those doctors that was born to do what he does. His educational background and extensive knowledge, professional manners and overall passion for his profession, sets him apart from his peers, which is clearly portrayed from the very first time you meet him. He treats you like you are his only patient, patiently listening to all concerns, asking questions and thoroughly explaining in detail any diagnosis. GI issues and concerns can be tough to talk about, but he makes you feel at ease, showing care and concern. His best attribute is not jumping to conclusions or immediately referring a procedure without being sure, he will rather take his time, monitor symptoms, run tests, meet a few times, and then discuss procedural options if necessary. (Where as other practices I went to before have turned to colonoscopy assembly lines and will immediately push procedures on patients before they even check vitals). When I finally had to get a procedure, it was so quick and easy, with new prep options instead of only relying on gallons of gatorade and disgusting mixes . He is always by your side, making sure you are comfortable every step of the way, and before you know it you are waking up and going home with in 15-20 min. Followup and results are so quick, no more waiting for months to get a call back.None of this would be possible with out the AMAZING staff that surrounds Dr. C. I can't say enough GREAT THINGS about the kind and compassionate amazing ladies at the front desk (Aileen especially), always smiling and always ready to help, and the amazing nurses on both the patient and procedural sides of the office who treat you like family.Thank you Dr. Cvetkovski and all staff for all the great care you provide, but most of all, thank you for all the respect and compassion you show.

The clinic to do the procedures is spotless, and I felt comfortable with having the procedure (endoscopy)there. Staff and nurses were all good to. Now the bad, what I was not impressed was on the follow up of care. I got a diagnosis and a correct prescription but not real follow up to see if progress has been done. You would need to call in and follow up yourself. Also the appt. for endoscopy was about a month and half later since requesting. If I had a bleeding ulcer I would have end up in the ER. Also I do not like he does not have a holistic approach. Med only and very little information about diet which is so important for any GI condition. I did not found him thorough or caring about finding the cause of illness. But accurate about diagnosis. I have not been impressed by any GI so far so I'm still on the search to find the best GI doc.

Unschooling the Spitz: I am thoroughly impressed with this office! The staff is so nice and professional. I had to reschedule twice before my initial visit, and each time the receptionist was so sweet and understanding. I waited maybe 2 minutes at most, and then saw the doctor immediately. Dr. Cvetkovski was wonderful and made sure I was totally comfortable with my treatment plan. I never felt rushed. I highly recommend this practice.

Sarah Chick: I truly cannot say enough positive things about Dr. C and his staff! I'm typically viewed by most of my healthcare providers as "young and healthy" which can be quite tiresome when dealing with on-going medical concerns and symptoms. However, Dr. C NEVER wrote me off, always listened to all of my concerns, and has treated me with excellent bedside manner, compassion, and exceptional care. I have been treated for GERD, had an endoscopy, a colonoscopy with Dr. C - and while these were very anxiety provoking for me - I had never felt more at ease in their office and never thought such procedures could be so easy and painless. All of the staff is truly excellent! Further, I also must acknowledge Tamaira, Dr. C's Nurse, who never hesitates to reply to me on the portal and answer any questions I may have, however large, small, or frequent. This care and compassion has meant the world to me. I have an excellent diverse care team in Raleigh, NC for all my health needs with various providers, but I can easily say that Dr. C and his staff far surpass the rest! Without a doubt, this is where you need to be for all your GI needs!

My son's appointment was scheduled at the Raleigh gastro office and when we got there, the receptionist told us that our appointment was scheduled for this day and time but at the Apex office. The call center person screwed up really bad and now we lost our appointment and they rescheduled it a month from now, when my son is having serious issues. No one even offered an apology and no one has been held responsible. This is pretty pathetic when these days they can't even schedule your appointment right. You would think Wakemed can do better than that, it appears to be the opposite. Extremely disappointed.

We show up to the Cary office at the appointed time and the Gastro department isn't in the Cary office on this day of the week, they are in the main office in Raleigh. Will never do business with Wakened Gastro again.*Update* As we left the Cary office (after I posted the above review) the doctor's office called and said if we could get to the Raleigh office in 25 minutes, the Dr. would see us. It seemed as if they thought they were doing us a favor, when the WakeMed call center screwed up the original appointment (confirmed by the WakeMed staff.) So we raced to the office to get there by the new time. In general it wasn't WakeMed's finest hour.
