Morgan K: Cooking classes here are very over priced for what is received. Most of the prep work is done before hand and there are dishes that they don’t even let you touch and it is fully made by the instructor. The class was only an hour even though 2-2 1/2 hours was written on the class descriptions and this time could have been used for learning more prep activities. All in all for $90 I pretty much just learned how to make risotto and was then served raw chicken and a salad with mold/fungus on it. Just watch a YouTube video instead and save yourself from food poisoning.
Thomas Cockrell: Incredibly disappointed. Do not recommend. First off we paid $180 for a macaroon cooking class. They’re made with inexpensive ingredients like butter, flour, sugar, and yet we couldn’t even make our own. We had to share a station with other people. And the “chef” doesn’t have her own station so she does a portion of our task and then let us finish. So we maybe got to do 30% of the steps. She had us browse the store for 45 mins waiting for them to dry and bake, we came bake to very undercooked macaroons and she blamed us and the humidity in the room. We would’ve been much better off buying the ingredients our self and watching a YouTube video at home. Also during our class she was cooking and prepping for another class. We were offered no drinks, no water, no snacks during a 3 hour cooking class that again cost $180! I have nothing positive to say about this place.
VICKI AUSTIN: I took the Beef Wellington class with Chef Caitlin. What a fantastic experience! The food was incredible. And she is engaging, knowledgeable, and funny. I will definitely be back to take another one of her classes with my husband.
Tim Allen: Absolutely awesome focus on the customer. I was looking to upgrade my knives. A staff member asked if she could help, explained the difference between brands, uses and types of knives. She let me handle some so I could feel the difference to help me decide. While my wife and I were shopping we were offered a hot espresso or cappuccino. In two visits we had two knives sharpened and bought three, in addition to some placemats, towels and more.

She was very rude and disrespectful asking if we can pay for a product we asked for in a condescending manner. Very disappointed as my mom shops their often. Sad experience and hope things improve. Jessica Clark: This review is primarily for the cooking classes. Overpriced, especially considering you share what you make with another person or couple they randomly pair you with. Did not learn how to make everything that was described in ad for the class, half of it was already made to "save time" (we were there for two and a half hours) and all we really did was chop vegetables. Because we were working together with another couple and had to consider their taste preferences, we ended up with a very under seasoned dish. We were most excited to learn how to make the peanut sauce for the spring rolls, but that was premade ahead of time. Same with dessert, it was just handed to us. No recipes provided after class. Didn't really feel like I learned anything new, and the food ended up tasting bland.The store was pretty, the staff up front was nice and the chef was also engaging and helpful when people had questions.Adding - they emailed the recipes the following day. Still, I could look up a recipe online for peanut sauce and coconut sorbet. Would have appreciated more instruction on these items, even if if the chef prepared the sauce in front of us.

I received a present that someone bought from Sur La Table, However, I didn't receive the gift receipt. They didn't allow me return or get a store credit. They are not a customer friendly store. I would not shop there if I can find the thing I need somewhere else.

Logan Holshouser: We arrived for a party of 10 (9 after one person could not come) with a small grouping of balloons, a box of party favors (aprons and gifts for the bride) and a bag of wine for our cooking class to celebrate the bride to be.When we arrived to set up, the cook, Rachel, greeted us with a sour demeanor without saying hello or welcoming us to the class, but to state “just so you’re aware, this is NOT a private class, there will be other attendees.”We knew this wasn’t a private cooking class but didn’t understand the brut hostility upon arriving.My mother, who booked the class for us all, responded by explaining that she had emailed with whoever was in management/booking about our small party and that we would bring party favors and wine to share with the group. Rachel was reluctant to understand or inquire further about the emails that had been shared and was rudely expressing how she knew nothing of the emails or what was planned for our party.I expressed that there was no need for hostility or disrespect towards my mother and she turned and said “well you don’t have to be here if you don’t want to.”Mind you, we paid $80 a person for our 10 person group, hoping to have a fun experience for my sisters bachelorette gathering.We moved forward after her rude remarks and gathered to start cooking. Throughout the class she was rude, dismissive, and out right disrespectful to not only our group, but the other couples. At one point, the couple next to us expressed being afraid to ask her questions because of how annoyed she seemed to be.One of our group members asked a question about the next step of cooking and she rolled her eyes and spoke so condescendingly, that we stopped engaging and just tried to get through to the end of the class. We were hopeful for a fun experience, but we will NEVER recommend this place to anyone thanks to Rachel.Joy was a helper in the kitchen who was incredibly kind and helpful, but her assistant was just as rude (an older woman with black hair) as Rachel.It’s a shame that we came here to make a memory with our family and it was ruined by the sour and disrespectful attitude of Rachel.For $80 a head, you’d think that would come with a knowledgeable chef who loves to teach people how to cook.

I encountered the rudest clerk, who yelled at my younger daughter for wearing a shield that she was required to wear vs a regular mask due to her recent nose surgery and refused to let her to enter the store. My oldest daughter tried to explain that she had to wear this type of mask due to her surgery and the clerk continued to yell so we left. Where has the HUMANITY in people gone!!

lauren doskoez: We went in to buy new flooring that is on their website she immediately got nasty at the front desk said we don’t do do flooring you’re on your own we won’t assist you at all. We needed to purchase floors, lighting, appliances due to a house fire and they lost our business because of their very rude front desk help. All she had to say was unfortunately wish we could help but it’s online only. She told me call my builder over and over. You need etiquette training.

In these crazy times, sometimes it is difficult to get a plumbing contractor to a home for my client. So I have to improvise to keep my client happy. Well Eddie a sales person for the contractor sales office in the back (not in the showroom) at Ferguson off Yonkers Rd helped me so much. 👍🏽 I had pictures and dimensions of what I wanted but no idea how to get it. Eddie was so patient, kind and professional. He really knows his way around the different manufacturers that all have a vast selection of the parts we needed to update the kitchen sink faucet, a new powder room pedestal sink, new powder room touchless brushed gold faucet and a new toilet lever to match the new pedestal sink faucet! All for a great price with delivery in two business days. My client is so happy to know that this will all be completed by Friday evening the week before Thanksgiving! And my client was just hoping for it to be completed by Wednesday of the following week. Now I can focus on my family's needs next week and finished my week with a bang! . THANKS EDDIE!
Mark Maresca: Avoid these guys like the plague (or like a rampant case of COVID).I purchased a built-in Sub-Zero Fridge/Freezer combo from Ferguson for roughly $10k. However, when they installed the fridge and freezer, they only connected the waterline to the ice maker and did not connect the fridge waterline. When I called them they told me that there was only one water line behind the appliance, so that is all they installed. I had to email them a photo from my builder proving to them that there were in fact two waterlines behind the appliance. They reluctantly agreed to come back out to my house to install the waterline.It is now over three months later, and after numerous calls and emails, they still have not come out to install the waterline. They don't even bother responding to my calls or emails. When I do manage to get in touch with someone I am "yessed" to death, or I am handed off to someone else, or my case is transferred to installation or warranties. But nothing gets done.You would think that on such an expensive appliance they would provide a decent level of service. Like I said AVOID...
Andrew Meyer: Recently my wife and I embarked on renovation of our kitchen and powder room. We went to Ferguson to purchase our plumbing supplies and lights for the bathroom. We highly recommend making an appointment with Brandi Jeter, one of their showroom reps. Brandi was extremely helpful in assisting us with picking out the multiple items needed based on our taste and budget. There were a vast number of options and Brandi helped us through the process. She displayed excellent customer service and patience throughout the purchasing process and was very responsive to our follow up questions via emails and phone calls as issues arose during deliveries and construction. Brandi was very easy to work with and we highly recommend using her as you select items for your kitchen or bathroom project.

Had so many issues with several appliances and the store was practically impossible to get help with anything. They claim to be there 100% with any issues after the sale but the truth is they use some third party company to handle service issues as way to pawn you off so they can focus on selling more product. I will never buy from them again and warn any of my friends to shop elsewhere.
Samantha Moline: Attempted to order the Bosch built-in coffee system. Their website said they had 12 in stock. We called to confirm and place the order. They confirmed, said it would ship in 2 to 4 weeks. Our card was charged but we never received e-mail conformation. We called back and were told the order was cancelled due to a security measure on their end. We placed the order again and were assured it went through. We now have TWO charges for 3,957. Next we received an email that we would not receive the coffee machine until JULY 2023.This is not acceptable.... It took another week but both charges have been refunded.

Shree Kuppam: Compré 2 inodoros, de Ferguson... que pesadilla, entregaron el inodoro y uno de ellos vino roto y los tanques para ir con los inodoros nunca fueron entregados. Le pagué a un plomero para que viniera solo para descubrir que no habían enviado todas las piezas y que un inodoro estaba roto. libby brzezinski: If zero stars was an option I would have put that. The store manager (Tanner) was less than mediocre when it came to customer service. I had made an online order, in which the young lady at the front helped me with. She said they had one ready if I wanted to take it I could. I decided to wait and come back...30 mins later I came back and magically neither of the items I was waiting for were available. Not only that but instead of standing and talking with me directly Tanner had me essentially follow him around the store for an answer. THAT IS POOR customer service.I made sure to call corporate and make them aware. The sad part is, I work in customer service. I would have been fine if a resolution was offered. Instead I got a snarky remark "well shame on you for doing that" AND no apology for the inconvenience. If you don't want to deal with inconvenienced customers then get out of the customer service industry.

But its everytime my wife walks in she follows us uncomfortably close and litterly reaches in my wife's cart and takes the merchandise she was going to purchase and kept up with false accusations making them up as the confrontation continued. Then all the sudden there was a video of her stealing a hair Dryer which never happened when asked to see it she refused and threatened to call police so we just left id rather leave the waste any money on that store. We really didn't steal a hair dryer and have not a clue to what she is talking about. I didn't get the lady's name but she is a African American woman kinda hea y st and talks like she has the education of a 5yr old.

Jack Horton: I must admit that I haven't been a big fan of other Tuesday Morning stores I've visited, but there is something about this one I LOVE. No matter how many times I go, I always find something new.

Keith Miller: This cabinet company is a Pretty Good Outfit. Allow yourself an Extra 1/2 hour if you have something to pickup. The workers are spread thin and try to get you the order you came for they are understaffed and Over worked....
Don Jewell: I am a subcontractor that builds these from flats. These are not bad cabinets but they are built overseas. Tolerances, quality control and consistency are my biggest gripes . Not true… the instructions provided in the distributor site need to be updated as they will cause you problems if you follow some of them. Using the proper stapler for instance on corner cabinets will blow right out of the side walls. Another example on the pantry’s That require pull outs the stiles need to be built in during installation …. Not terrible but not easy to secure the cabinet sides. The instructions for this procedure are sparse at best. Instructions on where to place support brackets become problematic when placing shelves. Braces should only be put in the upper and bottom corners and the rest of the face frame should just be stapled directly …. One nice thing is the drawer fronts are preassembled now. Please have someone update all the instructions on your website.Today we got a replacement cabinet with random boards in it. Upper corner cabinets are by far the worst design to build… be prepared to make it work however you can. Last but not least as much as people tout such great supporT, I have had the opposite experience. Of course this is as a subcontractor building these. Most of my questions are around manufacturer’s build intent. Good luck!

Elizabeth Johnson: To make a very long story short - this company did not deliver the custom color we were expecting (after four tries they finally said green is impossible - sure, no one on Earth has green cabinets) so after weeks of delay we picked a different color. Cabinets delivered and installed only to find the paint flaked off. I could scratch it off with light pressure using my fingernail. Obviously no quality control. All other trades coming in behind were thrown off weeks waiting for those cabinets to be pulled out and replaced. The KCD VIP our contractor spoke to about the problems promised to reimburse our extended rental cost but did not come through. They left behind a gallon of paint for touch ups but it’s the wrong finish, and they left no touch up kit at all, so now we cannot fix the install nail holes. Likely having these repainted from scratch so all-in this company cost us ~$12k (rental plus repainting) on a $15K job. Run away from this “operation.”

Lauren Kimball: Update-cabinets are continuing to rapidly deteriorate due to softness and will look like junk before long. So disappointed in the biggest remodel expense we have done in our home.Find someone else to buy your cabinets from. I would leave 0 stars if google would let me. We remodeled our kitchen this summer, and have used our cabinets for approximately 2 months. There are already an unacceptable amount of dents, dings, and paint chips. After realizing on the very first day of use how very soft and poorly made these cabinets are, I have been extremely careful. If a dish bumps it at all going in or out, it leaves a mark. Our old cabinets had been in our kitchen since the 90s and these have more damage in 2 months of use than the old ones did in 25 years. I was hoping that KCD would stand behind their product, and was encouraged by my first conversation with a representative. However, after a couple days, I received an email from that representative that their leadership team determined that the damage was not manufacturing defects and they would not be offering any solutions other than sending a touch up kit and spray. A touch up kit is clearly necessary, but these cabinets will have to be replaced within a year or will just look terrible. KCD does not stand behind their product. Buying these cabinets is not worth the money you save. The quality is as cheap as the price. You will definitely get what you pay for. Also, you cannot replace just a door if there is damage they don’t cover. You actually have to purchase the entire cabinet. If you find a contractor that only uses this company, find another contractor because their work will likely be as subpar as the cabinets themselves.

April Williams: This is a pretty cool shop. Unfortunately they are closing and the final day is 3/31. Right now most things are 10% and sales are final. They have an assortment of home decor, bedding, kitchen stuff, organizational things, food stuff pet stuff. You can already notice some empty and depleted shelves. They are not releasing ahead their schedule of discounts. The store was not very busy when I visited on a Sunday afternoon.

David Slater: We at Vision Remodeling of Wake Forest have hired Caputo for a number of our projects where customer service and attention to detail is paramount. Cristian Lopez there is phenomenal at customer service and ensuring your job goes exactly as planned. He gives us the updates we need. That is not typical in the world of construction supply & contracting. They installed on one project a 12' tall marble wall veneer for our fireplace/TV wall for one of our customers. It turned out great. We recommend Caputo.
