Gordie took the time to understand our skill set so that he could personalize our racquets to compliment our play styles. Very professional, real passion for the sport, and great pricing! The visit made our day!
    Jonathan Rabe: Had my squash racquet restrung here, and the service was excellent. They have stock of squash strings too, and I purchased some of their technifibre strings for them to put on. Service was very fast too, same day drop off and pick up. Pricing is competitive as well.

I came in with several rackets the first thing he did was ask about my play style and what I'm looking for. He explained all the different types of strings and what they're each good for. He's concerned about doing the right thing; I had two rackets that weren't worth restringing, and instead of just up selling me he was honest and left it up to me. I got two rackets done with different strings so I can re-find my desired setting.He's got grip and balls for sale too. But not rackets. Shop local. Support this legend.

He took the time to understand my game, style, what strings/rackets I've used in the past and took that info to give me a few options to try out. I won't go anywhere else for my tennis needs.     Will Koontz: I went down to Cary for the State Tennis Tournament and the night before my match I broke the strings in my racket warming up. I called High Strung Tennis that night and they were kind enough to string my racket in an hour and get it back to me before my match the next day. They did an excellent job and thanks to them I went to the quarterfinals and won some matches at states. Would 10/10 recommend.

I've been going Bryan since before he opened the shop when he was the lead stringer at the old Golfsmith on Glenwood Ave. Excellent, personalized service and great technical knowledge. He puts you in the exact equipment you need for your game. He and his mom have always been gracious to me and my kids. I live in Fuquay-Varina now and drive 40 minutes to get to him even though there are two other shops closer to my house. If you're in the Triangle, this is the place to go.

No help at all with selection. we left the store and went back in to ask his name. He said he was "Bryan" and he owns the store. There was a certain amount of arrogance in that tone. Haven't expected this kind of reception from the store owner. I have seen a lot of reviews which are amazing about this store... may be people of color get a "different" treatment? I have friends who are small business owners and are dying to have customers walk into their stores. This store treats customers totally different. Would never go to this store again.

No haggling or coupons needed. Bryan and Vince are you excellent and their wealth of tennis knowledge and experience can guide you to improving your game. He has the largest selection of racquets and string of any store I’ve ever been to. He also carries Pickle Ball stuff, if you’re in to that sort of thing.

    KW: I recently joined the cyclist life style, so I made a pit stop at REI Six Forks to pick up some equipment for my new bike. I was greeted with a smile and received white glove treatment. Kira assisted me along the way with product recommendations as she is an avid cyclist. She was amazing, and I appreciate the time she took to explain the purpose/value of certain equipment. I appreciate the excellent service at this location and will be back in the near future.
    Brian Ratti: Probably the worst REI location for mens clothing. Looking for mens hiking shirts, I managed to find less than 10 total, excluding the REI. Same issue with shorts.
    chan ham: Friendly staff and excellent location. However, my brompton was not ready as email and forgotten. Make sure you call to see your order status rather than just trusting email notifications.
