They have a customer-focused attitude and don't mind spending time with you. They go back and forth bringing garments to the fitting room and helping you make sure they fit well. They are genuinely interested, and you don't get that much anymore these days.

tammy reinert: I have experience serve foot pain recently and went shopping for new tennis shoes. Desiree in the ladies footwear was excellent. I explained my situation and she went to work finding me shoes to try. Once I knew what shoe brand worked well, she went above and beyond to help me get a tennis shoe and Sandal. This was the best customer service I have experienced since pre Covid. Thank you Dillards for having such a Great Employee.

Stephanie Garehan: This was my first shopping trip at this particular Ross, and I was impressed with the cleanliness of the store, items for sale were neat and well-organized, and there were plenty of cashiers for quick checkout. This isn't the case at some Ross' in the Triangle area! I'll be back!

London Simone: I usually enjoy shopping at Ross Dress for Less because they have a great assortment of things and I can always find exactly what I'm searching for at a low price. The apparel, shoes, and cosmetic goods are excellent.

Rob Francis: They use to be great and they went completely down the drain after Covid. The fitting rooms are never open or available they are always closed. They use to stay open until 11pm but not anymore. They use to have a good selection of clothes and especially the shoes!!!!Literally nothing. It’s a mess and sadly I don’t think this store will turn around a lot of the Ross’s sadly have turned out the same way but this one takes the cake. I’d definitely go to a different one if your trying to find shoes or we’ll anything at all really.

CD Upchurch: Much cleaner and better stocked than it used to be.This Ross Dress for Less store is a very short walk along the same sidewalk from Marshall's (their direct competitor for discount brand-name clothing).This Ross has less of a wait at the checkout line than that Marshall's does. Based on my repeat experience with both stores, that Marshall's is properly staffed, and this Ross is significantly understaffed.One more thing...One of the cashiers at this Ross Dress for Less was UNINTENTIONALLY rude. I'm putting that in all caps, because it is important that anyone reading this should just know that she was just self-absorbed and probably didn't even realize she was being rude.Situation: We were only buying 1 item. We were the only customers in line for a register. There were 2 registers open, each with a customer. As we approached the first register, the light was on, and Cashier "A" was helping a customer. She saw us waiting in line for her, but instead of making eye contact, she stepped around the register and flipped the switch to turned off the light, then she finished with the customer she had already started with. After that customer left, she said to us "This register is closed, but you can wait at the other register. Sorry."So, was that "sorry" rude? No. That was simply insincere.When deciding if something is rude, I generally follow the Golden Rule, the modern version of which is "treat other people the way you would want to be treated, if you were in their position.."What was rude was the order that she did things. If she was the person in line, and I was working at the register, I would have turned off my light BEFORE my last customer stepped up to the register, not AFTER. If I couldn't do that, then I would go ahead and take care of 1 more customer after turning off my light..I also would have immediately made eye contact with any other customers who were waiting, and I would have smiled and pointed them toward an open register.Just an FYI, Ross Cashiers.
