Despite living 2 hours away, I was able to order a beautiful arrangement for the funeral and communicate with the shop owner on details and ask any questions I had. If you want amazing energy, helpful staff, and don't mind traveling, there are some great shops I've been to in Greensboro, Richmond, Durham, and Newport News, Charleston, and several other cities to name a few. But PLEASE, I implore you spend your time, energy, and money else where. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt when a bunch of my friends told me don't even go there. But I was optimistic and excited about going, now I see they were right. Hopefully those who read this review can save time and go elsewhere.
Becca Meschio: I have been shopping at Holy Rose for 5 years now. They have an amazing selection of crystals, candles and magical wares. I have never delved into the more serious items there and have only purchased crystals & incense - great selection & pricing :)
Nick Whaley: The storefront is well put together and the staff was very friendly. They have a wide variety of items for sale and lots of items handmade in-house. As a person with a background in retail, I was extremely impressed with the merchandising. Rarely does one enter a shop with such beautiful displays. I love the little tarot nook and the little apothecary window for selling herbs is genius! Upon reading the reviews I will agree that many items are available elsewhere for less. I also recommend bringing cash as there is a significant charge for credit card processing (which was also charged sales tax). I definitely appreciated having an employee take responsibility for spritzing my hands with hand sanitizer, it made me feel safe and welcome. Overall I would definitely recommend stopping by this beautiful shop, you will find something you will want to take home.
