Rex came to my home and was punctual and professional. The entire process from beginning to end was extremely easy for me. It only took him about an hour to replace my windshield. I took it in again and said that it was not put in properly. They requested that someone ride with me to ensure that they could hear it as well. That is understood. He heard the sound. The shop SAID that they fully replaced the windshield. The same sound came again. I took my car to the dealership for inspection because I assumed that It could be something else. I asked that they look at the engine. Guess what was seen? The windshield was not secure!I called the safelite customer service number and said that I wanted service from a different location. The representative said ok. And guess who she made the appointment with? Yup Raleigh. I stated that I wanted a refund of the fee that I paid to the dealership. I sent proof of the inspection. The technician at the dealership made a video and a write up of all of the findings. The manager of Safelite in Raleigh asked for it. I sent it, and guess what. I havent heard any feedback. My technician that replaced the windshield the THIRD time was great. He saw the issue. He is the only person that was productive. If you cant find anywhere else, make sure that you specifically ask for a different location and confirm that it is not with the Raleigh location

When I dropped off my car on a Saturday I asked various times if I can come back at 6 to pick up my car. The lady at the front desk told me yes. I arrived at 6, to find the front door locked. I was looking inside to see if someone was inside, and there was. But this representative rudely just opened the lock of the door and walked away to her desk. Also when I walked in, I was not greeted by front desk assistant, but I was greeted with “you should be lucky I am still here.” I felt very disrespected, and shared with her that the previous person told me that time. She denied I could have been told 6, because they close at 4. I was so confused, because she was not sharing correct times. Anyways, another thing I did not like was that even if my car was left outside because the office was closed, my car was not locked and the hood was cracked, open. I will be taking my car somewhere else in the future

I guess that was our fault because when we got there most of the menu was out and we had little options to choose from. I ended up only eating the small plate cheese board and Beef Tartare. Which was delicious. The restaurant is beautiful, but we were disappointed with our visit. We waited a long time before being seen although we made reservations. The place looks amazing, but the best I can say about the food after two visits is that it seems safe, if entirely unenjoyable to eat. The only food that tastes any good is the dessert tarts, but they come the size of an average cheese cube, so the enjoyment is only momentary and not nearly long enough to forgive the utterly mediocre menu of appetizers and entrees, the vast majority which I have had the displeasure of tasting across my two visits.

Brian: Damien (sorry if I spelled that wrong) was amazing! The order originally had the wrong glass listed, so he worked with me to schedule a new time to come back out. When he did come back out, he did a wonderful and careful job taking out the old glass and putting in the new. He didnt rush and made sure every step was done correctly, even explaining to me steps I waa curious about. In addition to being great at his job, he was just a pleasure to be around. I felt comfortable and was very pleased with the work - I will happily use this company again in the future (although hopefully I wont need to)!

Rosa Madero: We needed to purchase 4 panels for a China cabinet that needed glass replaced. Glass is excellent quality and very well done. However, on the phone, their customer service was lacking. Poor interpersonal skills. When my husband went to pick up the glass, I sat in the car and watched the gentleman walk out right past him and to our car without saying anything or showing my husband the glass and placed it it in our car along with the receipt and walked away. Mind you, he had just stepped out to deliver glass to another vehicle and he spoke with them for about a minute. I know with Covid-19 less talking and less interaction is necessary etc. but I've not had an interaction quite like this. Again, the glass is very well done. Customer service not so much.

If you need your windshield replaced through your insurance company or paying out of pocket, the prices are excellent and the service is second to none. Keelie Keene: Would not replace my windshield because I have after market wheels. Once I tried to call them to figure of the issue they never pick up their phone. I would NOT recommend Safelite Durham.
Dennis Cook: 3 attempts to have my window repaired on my truck via the mobile service. First time was called the morning of saying they "forgot" to order the windshield and refused to reschedule me. Second time they cancelled for possible rain, which it did not rain and was only a 20% chance. Now 2 days ago the technician Jason lied via text message saying he showed up but none of my cameras show him even pulling in the drive way and the guaranteed call that he was 30 minutes out never happened. Called customer service and the manager was suppose to call or email me and its been 48 hours now and nothing. Do not use this safelite office.

John Coley: The tech, in my opinion utilized the wrong approach. He wasn't optimistic in this approach, but rather negative. The weather wasn't agreeable, however if he were optimistic rather than negative, mostlikely I would have not cancelled the job. Since when have negativity was a part of the solution?

Twisted Sneaks: Arrived at 7:15am for drop off which was the only option and I had to stay. I understand it’s not an appointment so I was prepared to wait. At about 11:00 when they address my car they brought me out to show me that I needed a $25 rubber seal for around the window like I forgot to order the part and “it’s on the truck tonight.” Don’t understand how this seal was overlooked when I’m paying $400+ for a full windshield replacement. When I asked if I could come in tomorrow when the part arrived it was a sure “no” while Monday continued to be the only option. I am a full time college student home for spring break and I am limited by day as I leave for college Sunday. Now I am stuck with some appointment that’s $75 more than what I prepaid for at the shop with mobile service in the NC mountains mid class day. The employees were respectful and wanted to help but this massive oversight of the company and their appointment system to the $25 rubber screwed me and my schedule.
Ayzha Burwell: The glass is fine and the technician was very friendly. Whoever I talked to on the phone was helpful answering my questions as well. They did however leave 2 deep scratches on the top edge of the hood. Not the end of the world, but ideally I'd like the car returned in the condition I left it in, minus the broken windshield of course.

Veronica Stewart: I use them for all my vehicle glass services, and they do a great job. I dropped one vehicle off early one morning, and it seemed like they waited until the end of the day to complete it. It was done by 5p, and I was able to use the drop box for later pick up.
Print Tees Plus: Easy to schedule the appointment through my insurance. Quick availability for appointments and very flexible when I needed to change the day. Derek was extremely professional and finished in under an hour. Being able to have safelite come to my house for the replacement was much easier also. Great work!
Andrew West: This company is terrible! You cannot speak to someone on the phone. They will only let you sign up through the website. I would recommend going anywhere else but here.
RobertsMom NC: Had one of our car’s windshield repaired. I was able to do the reservation via their website. Staff was attentive and they had plenty of areas to sit & wait. The car was ready right on schedule. Work was completed as promised.

Scott -n- Sherry Jennings: 12/28/22: EDIT: Sent a message to the CEO of Safelite and received a call that ultimately made things right. Chris the store manager and Bryan the technician went out of their way to take care of us and Chris reported that he's dealt with the employees who were creating so many negative reviews. Safelite has regained my trust and me as a customer.12/20/22 EDIT: Not sure what happened to this location but I can now chalk it up as one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. I set an appointment for a replacement windshield more than a month ago, drove to the store only to be told that the windshield had not arrived. This happened two more times and at that point was promised by the office manager James that he would call when our windshield arrived ready to be installed for our fourth appointment. I had to call repeatedly this morning to find out if it was actually there and then when we arrived to have it installed we were told that because we were 15 minutes late for our appointment that they couldn’t install our windshield. The technician came from the back and tried to blame us for the problems. Literally one of the worst customer service experiences ever.
Scott Glenn: I have used this location for replacing my windshield twice and paid out of pocket. Their price for replace was cheaper than any one. But i got a quote to fix a dime sized chio in my windshield and they want 150.00 to fix it . I called around durham to other places and prices where 70 to 90 to fix a chip . And there is no way to contact them directly at the shop every number sends you to there automated safelite robot operator that then sends u to the saflite web site.
bennett payne: Their entry-level price was 100% more than a local shop I found on HWY 70. This was for a crack repair on a windshield.
