My only complaints are the plants are more focused for commercial gardening and therefor most of the stock is either perennials or evergreens with an emphasis on shrubs and trees. If you’re more of a home gardener or aren’t working on a landscaping project, this store may disappoint. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly too!

All three ladies were great to work with in solving a problem my wife and I had with our order and delivery. Shell made sure the delivery manager knew about what happened so it could be corrected. HD is still our go to for Home Improvements. Stock is great also!

I purchased a floor model gazebo at this store over the weekend. There was nothing wrong with the gazebo so I was told they were unable to take any money off despite it being the floor model. I was okay with this because I was assured that all parts would be included and I was receiving the item as if it were in the box. Tony refused to take the gazebo apart and told me his night crew would take it down and it would be ready at 6am the next morning. He refused print me a copy of the directions and told me I could do it from the website, looks like I wasn’t receiving the item as if it were in the box.In the morning, I called the store and Tony did not make good on his first tee, the gazebo had still not be taken apart. I received a call at 7:30 from a VERY helpful and competent manager in Patricia. She also printed me the directions!Unfortunately my woes didn’t end there, the gazebo was missing multiple screws and brackets, making the screened in portion useless to me. It also had multiple stripped out screw and missing washers that I will have to go back and buy replacements for.I wish companies that allowed stores to sell their floor models had policies on the condition/discounts when they sell these items.I also wish assistant managers like Tony showed a little humility and grace when dealing with customers. I was willing to buy the floor model but when paying full price for an item I expect it to operate as such.

An unrelated employee came down the hardware aisle from plumbing but was moving at about 1/2 mph and not helpful. I needed a shorter threaded rod than I had found there . After 5 more minutes of him meandering the aisle , he told me the longer version they sold (already in my hand) couldn’t be cut there. I was super surprised in the lack of intent to help or ability to resolve the issue. Instead he tried to sell me a hacksaw to make one cut. Super disappointed….

We went with Home Depot because she was informed that the installation included all the appliances (gas stove, refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher). There were no stipulations. The guys contracted to bring the appliances showed up 45 minutes late - only to inform us that they could not install the dishwasher or the microwave and that someone else would have to come out to install those. That is NOT what Home Depot told us. The guys left b/c they said we only had a 5-minute window to accept the appliances, but my wife was on the phone with the Home Depot store at the time. And she is still on hold - more than 30 minutes later.This is my second issue with trying to get something done through Home Depot.And now we are without appliances. The July 4th sale is over, and we are stuck on hold with Home Depot in Knightdale.This is not okay. And I have now contacted Home Depot Corporate about this.

    TBD: Be warned about opening a home Depot credit card. You will be offered a promotional plan with no interest for 12 months. However, when you go to make a payment you are given the minimum payment due. This IS NOT the promotional minimum due to pay off, interest free for 12 months. This is a minimum payment that will stretch the payments past the 12 months and then you will be charged interest. Very deceitful! When I called to request that my payment correspond to my 12 month agreement I was told that it couldn't be done. That I was required to take the total due, divide by the 12 months, and then pay that amount. Are you nuts! I'm required to calculate myself and remember to pay that amount vs the account to automatically bill the correct amount. Consumers be very aware of what I consider fraudulent payment plans that won't pay off your account as you legally committed to when you signed up for it. Home Depot knows exactly what they are doing to the consumer when communicating a fraud like this. I cancelled my card immediately and will no longer do any business with this company. Don't allow yourself to be caught in this type of situation. There's plenty of credit cards that you can get that will stretch out your payments, with no interest, that are actually honest.
