Amy R: Someone recommended Wake and I got an appt for a video visit which I prefer NOT being in an office setting as that really makes my anxiety worse.I’ve met with Foushee every 3 months since I moved here and she’s very kind, knowledgeable and helpful. I’ve never had to wait more than a day for refills but I do always time my refills so I never run out. I’m thankful for her!The only gripe if I needed to have one is the way they do their billing. I have never been to a place where when you check in you have to pay last times visit. At my second check in they said I owed a balance and I mistakenly thought they would be sending me a bill in the mail like many other places do. So I had to run and get my card and pay it. It was a little hectic but now I know that every time I check in I’ll need to pay. I do wish they’d mail something like a receipt for flex spending tho. I followed a fantastic provider to this practice when they moved. Unfortunately I am going to have to part ways. They don’t answer requests, everything is extremely delayed, they’re extremely rude. No empathy, no concern— they don’t care at all. Haven’t even replied in a timely manner in urgent situations. Would give 0 stars if I could.
Felicia Westenheimer: As other comments reflect, this practice is not big on customer service, and unfortunately I didn’t realize this until it was too late. My provider Erin Adams went on maternity leave and the provider assigned to me while she was gone refused to complete FML/ADA paperwork for me. Kathleen Flaherty said “she doesn’t think an employer should have to pay for *insert realistic & common accommodation request*” and “she only approves leave for emergencies”. Keep in mind that I have significantly contributed to my employer’s record earnings during the last few years and rarely take time off. Is protecting a patient’s mental health not a priority? Now we have providers telling patients what will/won’t help them at work as if they know better when they don’t actually work there?.. Like I don’t already know? I guess they wait for you to be in a crisis before they will act, which is pretty sad. I don’t know how they sleep at night. One of the practice managers Alyson told me that nobody there would be willing to complete the paperwork although their providers have been treating me and have all of my records. I was told that I would need to wait 8+ weeks for my original provider to return from maternity leave so she can complete it. 2 months! I will not be returning here for care in the future and would not recommend this place.
Margarette Yeager: Unfortunately, this practice is not big on customer service. My provider is fine, but the practice manager, Shirley, did not address my concern adequately. I had to pay two copays today b/c of an accounting error. That wasn't difficult. What was difficult was finding out why I was told I had a credit during my last visit and not being required to pay my copay and then being charged for it later. When I suggested that she train her employees in this matter, she told me that I was telling her how to do her job. Talking with her and the other person on the phone got me absolutely nowhere. You know, this is a psychiatric medical practice. They should make every effort to address a patient's concerns and to investigate matters like these that may be an error due to employee negligence or accounting software. We as patients are most likely already at some level of distress. We don't need anymore added to our plates. Two thumbs down!
Caroline Comyn: My husband is a patient. He had an appointment scheduled, but could not make the appointment because his father in India is dying, and he had to fly to India. I called the office to attempt to cancel the appointment and was told we would be charged a cancellation fee. My husband then offered to do a telehealth visit from where he is in India, so that we could avoid the cancellation fee. We were told the provider wouldn’t see him because he is currently in India, and were then told that we would still be charged a no show fee despite the fact that the provider was declining to see him. We received no condolences for the current situation we are going through, and I was completely unimpressed with the front desk staff and how this entire situation was handled.
Shelly Smith: I had to wait 30 days to get into see a doctor and was called this morning at 7:42 when I had an appointment with Dr. Fouche at 8:20… just to be told me appt is cancelled due to her being “ill”… I have been desperately needing to see someone from my trauma having been in a serious car accident a little over a month ago and now the office manager was snotty rude and told me I would have to wait another 30 days before I could even be rescheduled this place is a joke and by the way the office manager sounded they are not about trying to really help anyone that is in desperate need!!! WORST DR’S OFFICE EXPERIENCE I’VE EVER ENCOUNTERED!!!
Mary Wolkomir: No concern for patient at all. My primary doctor sent request for FIRST available appt. They would not even tentatively book until I uploaded numerous documents and filled out 4 page intake form. I had to fill out this document twice as it kept timing out. Now that it was done, thot I would get a call to finally make an appointment. NOPE. It was 8-9 days later when they sent me an email telling me to call. They could care less about their patients. Go elsewhere where they truly care.
Kc Reaves: I have been trying for 2 weeks to get approval for a refill on a prescription I’ve been taking 4 years. My pharmacy sent in the request twice; it seems the first request expired after 10 days. I have called 6 times in the past week. My request is marked as urgent. Dr. Webster still has not renewed it nor have I been able to speak to her. When I spoke to the front desk today, I was told they are “short-staffed” as a reason it was taking so long, though yesterday when I called I was told she was with a client, therefore the delay was unlikely to be due to an extended illness or other understandable delay. So please, for the sake of your mental health, find a different provider who will actually provide.Update: Was it my 6th phone call or the negative review that finally got someone’s attention 2 hours after posting this?
Rosemary Bliss: RUN!!! WORST PLACE EVER!!! Minus stars for review. Does not submit claims. Gives run around for over 8 MONTHS. High turn over rate for Billing Dept. Can't keep employees. Doctors DO NOT CARE!! (Money hungry). Does not keep financial records up to date. Will submit formal complaint to BBB. Better off talking to a dog. 9 Months later and I still can't get an accurate invoice to submit a claim.
Kristie Boyd: one daughter sees Karen day and she seems to do a good job and is nice. We decided to make an appointment for our other daughter but could not make it due to extenuating circumstances due to a death in our family and Wake Psychiatry did not care at all and wants to charge us $300 cancelation fee because we did not cancel with more than 24 hours notice. I am seriously ticked off but my other daughter is getting good care from Karen Day. Uggh

Dana Sessions: I gave blood in Feb. O Neg and have for years. The App made me think all was good. Found out today that it was contaminated after my donation and is being destroyed. So not only did someone not take proper care of it, but the ARC is misleading me in the App making me think all was fine. Lack of transparency makes me lose trust. They must not need O Negative blood like they would have you believe if this is how they treat their donors now.

Michelle Hazard: I was hung up on by the staff member, my request for help due a lightning strike taking out the elevator is apparently not a natural disaster. Though very much a disaster for me.
Marcilynn Smith: I scheduled my appointment for blood donation since that was mandated with the Covid19 restrictions. I arrived and was promptly taken into an intake room after checking in. I had to wait approx 5 min after completing the intake information for someone to pull me out to get the blood donation process started. A typical wait when they are busy, but there was NO ONE else in the building giving blood at this time.4 of the 6 paid staff were sitting in chairs and playing on their phones when I was taken to the donation chair. The person getting my donation started had to assemble the blood kit before she started asking my name and DOB, to get my donation in process.With previous donations someone assembled the blood donation tubing & tubes for staff to grab and facilitate donors getting through the process quicker.A gentleman came in to give blood while I was in process and one of the staff got up to start his donation which left 3 paid staff sitting and playing on their phones.These people should have gotten up in pairs, one to assemble the tubing & tubes while the other prepped the donors. A much better use of a donor's time as well as the paid staff time.After donation the refreshment person was sitting at the table on her cell phone as well. Typically that person is more interactive and helpful. This lady did mention grabbing a business card for a free pizza which I wouldnt have known about. At the end of my post donation wait time she did pleasantly say "have a good day".I donated at this particular location because they had a time slot open on the date I was available. My 2 other normal locations were booked. I would not recommend donating here.

The one thing they're supposed to do, they turned us away.

Kathryn Taylor: Everything is DONATED. There is NO reason a used dresser with broken drawers should be 450 Bucks. Habitat used to be a great place to go find random furniture pieces that could be refinished to be made cute again. You're better off buying new than from here.*** Let me add, the Raleigh Blvd location has a black storage tote for $50. You can buy a brand damn new one for half that Any Day of the week-- insanity--
