I love this airport. I brag about it all the time when I travel; it's such a pleasure to navigate and it's just a sweet, small Southern piece of heaven- especially after a long flight. I wish it flew directly to just a few more cities and I've also wanted it to be a little bit more functional as far as being able to get food, coffee and pressies there 24 hours a day but those are the only complaints I've ever had.

Last time I flew into Wilmington, it was a smaller airport than it is now. They have done some major renovations and added another terminal to the airport. Very clean and a great airport. Quick to get in and out of.

Wilmington has a small airport but the layout is easy to follow. I had no issues finding rental car dropoff and the security checkpoint. There is one bar past security that has beer on tap and cold food available. Good airport overall
