He certainly lives up to his company name "Love Your Piano" He is super passionate so much so that my wife and I were actually entertained for the two hours it took for him to tune a 37 year old piano we recently acquired that had never been tuned before and I can not believe the difference it made and for a lot less money than I would have initially guessed. We have already scheduled him to come back in 6 months to tune it up again.

Fees are from $90. Also, I usually tune pianos within a 50 mile radius of Downtown Wilmington, long distance surcharges may apply.

I am happy to acknowledge that I have maintained the pianos at a few churches: Masonboro Baptist Church, Ebenezer Baptist Church, Harbor Church, St. Jude's Metropolitan Community Church, Covenant Church, and Cornerstone Baptist Church. Also, I tune the pianos at UNCW. Restaurants include The Blockade Runner on Wrightsville Beach, Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, and recently, both Greenfield/Downtown Amphitheaters. Each month I enjoy at least 20 new customers in addition to the customers from earlier services. I am very grateful for all the opportunities.

There are several points of concern that are clarified here for mutual benefit.

First, to cancel an appointment and not be billed for service, I require a 24 hour notice.

Keep in mind that it creates a difficulty to fill a vacancy that suddenly appears. That day becomes a loss. So, anything cancelled or forgotten within 24 hours of the scheduled arrival may result in being charged for that appointment.

Second, many pianos are in terrible condition because of chronic neglect. My guarantee to keep your piano sounding great for the two months after I tune it, is subject to change if the piano has not been tuned regularly and not cared for in the proper fashion. You should not buy any instrument without knowing it's specific condition and history. Many pianos around Wilmington might be free or appear to be a great deal, but they are often damaged significantly and sadly, create a really bad experience for you.

Third, if your piano requires additional services beyond what you described to me when scheduling the appointment, please expect an increase in the fee. Fees that I quote someone are based on the information proved about the instrument when I confirm our appointment.

Fourth, my fees are substantially reduced from the normal and usual fees collected from piano tuners in this region. I strongly recommend that your piano is tuned not less than every 8 months or as recommended during the tuning. If you prefer not to follow those guidelines, please expect that fees may not be my usual and customary fees. Waiting for a year or longer to occur can create a very difficult tuning or technical experience which warrants higher fees.

Revised Summer Hours are: Tuesday through Saturday, starting at 10:00am through 430pm, or by a special appointment.
