4worldlovers: Cutting up socks as a 4 year old to make dolls and tearing out the blank pages in encyclopedias for drawing paper led to creating life sized papier mache' sculptures for our living room. I think we were the only family with a big paper Christmas tree. After a technical career in the Defense Department, I became a full time glass artist and have worked in glass for almost 20 years.

We work color and clear borosilicate glass on the bench or on the lathe with hand torches. We use propane and oxygen. We repair everything we make, often for free. At JDG, our goal is have fun and to keep our customers happy.
