Agri-Waste Technology, Inc.: what do users think?
Kevin Merino: Working with Chris McGee of Agri-Waste Technology, Inc. was invaluable to my wife and I during our recent home purchase. We ran into an unusual and complicated scenario and Chris's expert knowledge of septic system technologies as well as his ample experience with the county's Septic and Wastewater Management department allowed us to successfully negotiate a remedy with confidence. We highly recommend Chris McGee and AWT.
jerry hartman: My mother taught me if I have nothing nice to say then don’t say anything at all. So I will not say anything about this company.
Michelle Selvey: Absolutely the best! Their communication is second to none and they do exactly what they say they are going to do when they say they are going to do it!
Victory Septic: Great team to work with.
Emily Canosa: While we have not used any of Agriwaste’s services, they were the ones who had designed the layout on the septic IP for a piece of property we bought. I had some questions about driveway location in regards to the septic and what the cost of the system would likely be. Kevin Davidson spent an hour on the phone with me answering my questions and helping me figure out some options/solutions within the confines of the IP so that I could pass the info along to the county. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve called a company to ask questions and been made to feel like I was wasting their time or bothering them. It was so refreshing to get helpful information from someone who seemed to genuinely care and clearly knew what they were talking about.
Jennifer Singh: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,ResponsivenessExceptional customer service and quality of work. Quick to respond and provide helpful information.
David Lipsky: Positive:ResponsivenessBest in the industry. Excellent work, and all questions were answered thoroughly and in a timely manner.
James Baumhover: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueJeff Vaughn has provided complete, professional and timely guidance as we navigate the decision process to repair/replace our 40+ year old residential septic system. If the scale allowed, we would rank him a "6"
Kaitlyn: We were in the process of buying our house back in Spring of 2019, and hired AWT to inspect the septic system and well. The septic inspection went great, and we were provided a report with helpful information about our system. The well inspection however, was only a picture of the well cap in our front yard and didn't really tell us much other than what we could see ourselves. At the time we didn't really know what we were looking at, never had a house with a well, and probably could have done a bit more research ourselves to learn about the well system. But as home-buying goes, we had so much else to worry over and we rightfully assumed that the inspector would tell us what we needed to know. We've been in our house for just about a year now, and the well pump went out. We knew that this component was old and anticipated replacing it at some point. When our well contractor came out, we showed them the well that AWT inspected, they opened it up and it was completely empty! Come to find out, this was very obviously an old well and had not been in use, probably since the 1970's when the active well pump was installed. The well contractor noted that this would have been a no-brainier when inspecting the system. The well that our system is connected to is completely separate. The contractors were able to locate it and noted that they've had similar experiences with other clients whose homes were inspected by AWT. It seems that AWT is great at what they know-- septic systems. I think they need a more training and education on well systems so that they can provide reliable and correct information and make sure their clients are well informed.
Arthur Zacco: I have been dealing with AWT since 2011 on a regular basis as they maintain, repair, and inspect my septic system. They have done an outstanding job since I met them. Jeff and the crew could not do a better job as they are kind, courteous, efficient, reasonably priced, and always dependable. In fact I had someone else digging on my proerty today and they accidentally ruptured a septic line. Being a Friday morning I thought it would be next week before it could be repaired. However Jeff and his crew from AWT was out here almost immediately and had it completely repaired in two hours. Now that is service! Providing this kind of service from AWT is business as usual. Don’t hesitate for a second to give them a call. They are fantastic!
Cristina Virsida: Very helpful services and technicians!
Beth P: I have worked with Jeff Vaughan at AWT twice now and must say I have had some of the best customer service I have ever received. The first time was when I needed an inspection for a septic system while purchasing a home 4 years ago. The inspection price was reasonable and the report was so comprehensive that I have referred to it multiple times since then. When I had questions post-inspection, Jeff spent significant time with me over the phone. More recently, before undertaking significant drainage, grading, and landscaping work around my home, Jeff helped me understand some important considerations to ensure that no damage is done to my septic system through the process. He also gave me important tips to ensure the long-term "health" of my septic system. Jeff is very responsive and goes above and beyond to help his clients. I have been very impressed and highly recommend AWT.
Marianne Howell Wright: The best for septic inspections because of through inspection and detailed reports. Soil engieering.
Amanda Denery: DISHONEST, non-responsive and irresponsibleDishonest & IrresponsibleHired AWT while purchasing our home in Clayton, NC, Julie Davidson wrote us a report stating the well she tested was in perfect working order. Fast forward a couple years, we have no water in our home. Come to find out the well she "tested" had been out of commission and didn't even have power for years prior to her examination.Have spoken with several people in this office, they do not care, they will not even provide their insurance carrier information so that we can follow up appropriately. Our family would never have bought (nor been approved) to buy this home without a known, tested and functioning well. Their dishonest report and lack of interest in providing even the most basic assistance has left our family without water for over a month while we try to work with the county to resolve this issue.Hire someone else.
Emily Harbison: Cannot recommend. They inspected a septic tank for us and charged us $350, sent the bill to the wrong person, and then sent it to collections. They have been nothing but rude to me as I tried to sort this all out. Meanwhile the tank they billed us to inspect WASN'T EVEN IN USE and they didn't even recognize it. A year later, we experienced a clog in our drain, called another provider (A-1 Septic) -- they immediately identified that the tank wasn't in use and didn't charge us for Agri-Waste's screw up. They said it would be obvious to anyone who knew what they were doing that the tank wasn't in use -- there was no TP nor ANY signs of use (which we were assured would be obvious). Imagine if you had something more serious? This company would gladly help you flush money down the drain. Do yourself a favor and consider someone else.
Keri Clour: Great from start to finish. They got us in quickly and communicated from start to finish throughout every single step of the way. Answered all questions and performed very thorough inspection. Will definitely use again and would recommend to anyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Meta Tibke: I am a realtor and have experienced stellar customer service with Jeff and his company. He not only knows his business but he is respectful of the clients' need to understand what is going on and is willing to take the time to explain (it's another language to me). When I recently went under contract to purchase my own home (with a septic system), I called Agriwaste; I wouldn't even consider calling anyone else. Thanks, Jeff!!!
Kevin S: I purchased a resale home in Chapel hill about a year ago and had Jeff from agri-waste perform the septic and well inspections. They provided a very comprehensive report and was very helpful in answering my questions. I recently notice a problem with the septic overflowing water from both septic access covers, it was at 7pm on saturday evening..of course! I was panicked and put a call in to Agri-waste and immediately heard back from Jeff who then walked me through several questions..Together we were able to diagnose the problem as a clogged outlet filter, and I was able to get my system working again the next morning. I cannot say better things about Jeff and the company...Extremely professional and knowledgeable..Customer service and response..unparalleled! Highly Recommended
Michael McCrindle: VERY poor customer service! left many messages trying to get them to come and do a full inspection on my septic system. almost 2 weeks later many phone calls and messages and still nothing. No call backs andf no returned messages Also my realtor tried many times and nothing. Must be nice to be able to turn business down and not answer the phones.
M C: AWT is who to trust if you have a lot that needs to get permitted for a tricky septic system application. With soils and engineering professionals under one roof they can figure out the most difficult of applications. Experts at Direct Discharge repairs too.
H S: Spoke to me online and tel for 15 minutes giving me general septic advice ... for a system that they don'the even service (I don't live anywhere close by)...that is unheard of- they had nothing to gain and still went out of their way for me. That's service.
