Peggy Warner: I looked at a dozen local furniture stores attempting to find a queen bed and matching pieces that would fit in a very small bedroom.All the salesmen I spoke to said the room was too small for a queen bed and I should look at full-sized beds instead.Finally, I wandered into Woody's in Apex, NC.Adam was terrific! He showed me a lovely, simple Amish bed with a small footprint. He then helped me choose pieces from other furniture lines that not only fit well, but were reasonably priced and looked great!Adam even had the items delivered in time for Christmas.Woody's selection and Adam's guidance made the project much easier and I am very happy with the new furniture.

We bought it post pandemic in Oct 2021 so we are disappointed in the delay as well as the fact that we get ZERO communication from the store. Only excuses. We have now waited so long that the item has gone up significantly in price from other suppliers so simply refunding will not make us whole. Very disappointed that they have not advocated for us with their suppliers to get resolved. Would be impressive if they just cared enough to try.Update: shortly after posting this review, Woody's did finly work with their supplyer to get resolution (alternative product). We have gone back since then and made some additional purchases of items on the floor that went smoothly. For this reason I have modified my original star rating from 1 star to 3. While the recient purchases went smoothly, it would be hard to rate higher after the experience of waiting over a year. They do have a great selection of quality and are worth exploring for your home furnishings, particularly when purchasing off the floor.

He was VERY knowledgeable and patient. Trey was fantastic but I'm also over-the-moon about the pieces I purchased as these are absolutely heirloom pieces. Tons of choices and all are 100% all wood. Dave Hanney: Wonderful experience. 10’ x 10’ garden shed was delivered on time but became an installation challenge. New construction house with new gardens and very very soft soil underneath having to travel approx. 40 yards to the back garden. He tried pushing the trailer with the shed across the garden with the delivery truck, but the truck just immediately sank. So, he dropped the shed off the trailer and used logs to roll the shed all the way across the garden using a winch off the truck from outside the back garden. Took around 3 hours to move into position and level. Nothing more than totally impressed.

Amish Barns had the highest recommendations and best pricing I could find. Selection was vast and it took some time to figure out just what we wanted/needed. When working with Tom, he made me feel like I was the most important customer he had. I bought an 18' x 20' metal building, installed. Delivery was on time. I was very impressed with the installation crew and the final results. The building went up in 2013 and we sold the house in 2016. Never a leak or any other problem. Quality materials, quality workmanship and Tom is one of the nicest guys I have run into. A true pleasure to do business with. Highly recommended.

Annie Eder: We ordered a shed and were told it would take about a month... My husband kept calling and checking on it and the owner kept giving the run around. Finally, the shed was ready about a week or two late and he came TWO different times to drop the shed off and took off with the shed. I even called same morning to confirm they were open, but when I arrived at 11:30 a.m., the office door was locked. Tried owners cell 3 times and texted twice. No response. Joe Bellofatto: Having been to a number of furniture stores, while shopping for a bedroom furniture, in the Raleigh area, this place blows them all away by miles. High quality, very knowledgeable and professional sales folk. It's a bit pricey, but you'll get your money's worth with furniture that will hold its value for decades. If you want quality and are willing to pay for it, don't bother with any place else.

Evan MacGibbon: Before Covid-19 struck/ we started construction on a new home! Great timing! We know. All of the "finishing touch" items were out of stock or had incrdible lead times. We fell in love we a pair of Craftsman Fans from Mussion Bungalow and ordred them - knowing that it would take a long time to get them. When the items were finally getting shipped, UPS screwed up and never delivered the lfan light kit. Mark from Mission Biunalow, didn't hesitate to rectify this situation. It was a challenge for him since the components were all backordred - another long leadtime tossed into the mix. Mark, howver, kept us informed as to what was going on and when we could, hopefully, expect the recieve the light kits. His "doggerdly pursued" this. It took a few months, but he finally was able to pull all the parts together and get them to us! We can;t say enought about the Customer Service that Mark provided. We would not hesitate to purchase other items from them and plan to down the ine! They have an amazing collection of Mission furniture which would fit in perfectly with our new hoimne. Bottom line is that Mission Bugalow will do everything necessary to make sure your are 100% satisfied with your purchase. Robert L.: I ordered a dining room table and 4 chairs for a friend in March at the St. Petersburg store and Mission Bungalow was paid in full. It was originally said that it would be ready in about 6-8 weeks and it has still not arrived. Now Mark (one of the owners) said that it would be done by September 30 and then said he would issue a refund. In the meantime they’ve closed the store without informing either the purchaser or myself. Poor communication and now not returning phone calls or text messages. Guess we’ll have to sue to recoup any funds. So disappointing after believing they were an ethical businessAfter 8 months and an agreement with the credit card company to charge the company back for the purchase, the dining room set was delivered and the order is complete. Me. Cabot needs to brush up on his customer relations skills as there’s always an excuse each time you contact him. That’s if you get a response.

Shelby Petruzel: What a fun store! Such a wide variety of high quality pieces that are so customizable! The on site interior designers were wonderful. We got lucky with Alyssa, who was a huge help with fabric choices. She showed me options I would have never put together on my own, and everything turned out way better than I imagined. The delivery time was delayed, as it seems all custom furniture was in early-mid 2021, but it was well worth the wait. Alyssa was great at keeping us informed of the delays and working to make sure we were happy. The sofa and chairs we purchased are hands down the best pieces of furniture we have. Terry McBroom: Worked here less than 2 days. Entire place is full of mold and the "craftsmen" are just husband and wife immigrant couples that are extremely underpaid and taken advantage of. The entire warehouse/shop is full of black mold the roof leaks everywhere, there is 1 small exhaust fan in the paintbooth (using that word very loosely) that barely pulls any air and has no filters so plenty of pollution happening. I was handed a dust mask to spray stain and paint... The entire place stays full of dust and mold smell. I can assure you the people who have been there a long time have and will have terrible health issues! And on top of all of that I was never paid for my time worked.pics are of the paintbooth, and rot in the ceiling as well as the mold in the break room beside the refrigerator.

Lucila Munoz: Paid for custom bookshelves that were to be completed in 10 weeks. The guy who I spoke with seems to fully understand what I wanted. After 18 weeks, I received bookshelves of hideously poor workmanship.UPDATE: finally installing the cabinet pulls and finding more flaws. The doors are not the same size, warped, not plumb and the soft close hinges push them in past the frame. The more I look, the worse the workmanship is.OLD PART: 4 of the doors were clearly cut too short and corrected with adding an extra piece. The stain is completely uneven. There are edges that were cut with a dull saw and the edges are torn vs. cleanly cut.Sadly, I left them wrapped up 2 months and was disappointed when I finally saw what I had paid for. By this time, I needed the shelves so I sucked it up and kept them.And now whenever I look at them, I don’t see the bookshelves that I’d always dreamed of, I see the poor quality that cost me too much. :-(

Nor does it compete with Ikea for very low end stuff.What you get is very solid bookcases, tables, desks, beds, cabinets or similar, custom finished at an ok price

Julia Gamas: The first order was placed in December. It was February before I heard back one way or the other after leaving them 3 or 4 voicemail messages. Even then they seemed to call back promptly after it was my husband who called and left voicemail. After they delivered the two pieces we requested in the wrong color, they said they would remedy the situation by delivering the desk in the right color. We waited another 3 weeks. They just delivered again. The new desk was rushed to completion judging by the dribbles of varnish in the bottom front, you can see where the nails were put in and are a different color, and some of the edges are unfinished. This, in contrast to the other piece which they made and we kept which is well finished and what I had expected for the price. I am disappointed in the local business I wanted to support with my money. I am never going to them again. I cannot post pictures here, but will try to on yelp.

Jennifer Malloy: Ordered a small custom bookcase from the now-closed Cary branch in January 2017. Unfortunately, the quality of what I received looked nothing like the wares that were for sale in the showroom. The back looks like it was stapled on and is buckling in places, stain is missing in spots on the back edge (see photo), and I get a splinter every time I touch the edge of the back, because it is so rough (which is why I'm posting this now, because I just got another splinter from pulling it out from the wall). Staining on the top where it is grooved is also not very good. Wish now that I had complained and tried to get my $300 back.

Mike Bald: Completely unprofessional staff with a store that has kiddy pools lining the entire area because the roof is leaking. Decided to make an order but they wouldn't respond to phone calls within the estimated time they provided for the completed order. 3 days after they were supposed to have the order completed they informed me that they were missing a material, so it would be longer. I attempted to get a refund but they don't seem to have an established refund policy. Avoid at all costs! I am currently without both my payment and the bookcases and it's been over a month since the order.

Erinn Evangelista: We had Durham Bookcases build us an entertainment center and all I can say is... WOW! It knocks our socks off every time we look at it, even after a month of having it in our house. It turned out better than we ever could have hoped and the fact that you can customize every last detail is amazing. These folks are great to work with and the product is affordable for solid wood and handmade.
