The Cary Theater: what do users think?
Alexander: Cute small town theatre with a nice cafe next to it. They show less main stream movies but the sound quality is nice and the staff is extremely friendly!
Caroline Gilmore: Great multi-use venue located in the old section of Cary.
Henry M. Lancaster II: Cozy venue for viewing and listening.
Robert Campbell: Wonderful local theater, just watched Star Wars (Episode IV - A New Hope), a great experience! I have also attended comedy shows here, along with other live performances. Really a fun downtown venue with something for everyone!
Patsy Wiser: Everything was great about this place except the popcorn. Dry and tasteless. Should invest in a popcorn popper.
Lee Hardin: Absolutely love this theatre. Performed there last night. Staff, and audience couldn’t have been better!
Carol Hesse: Had an awesome time doing the White Christmas film. It was a sing along and the theater gave us a bell and card with additional instructions for interaction during the show! Such fun!
Christine Gonzalez: Great small venue. We have enjoyed two jazz events here, one with floor seats, one in balcony. I prefer the balcony view.
S Tam: An awesome local venue. We went to watch Sunday Jazz. Its the 1st Sunday each month at 3pm. An excellent way to finish off the weekend!
Mario Borgnia: Very nice little theater screening selected movies in the least suburban part of Cary.
Randy Rambeau: Very nice facility!
Debra Penne: Very cool little indie theater. Clean and comfy, snacks beer and wine. What's not to like? Try it... you won't be sorry.
Betty Jameson: Fun experience.
Sergey Osokin: Small, quiet and very convenient place that shows indie movies. The Truffle Hunters movie was very nice, thank you!
Kaileigh Ault: SUPER neat little place! It's super cool that the town of Cary decided to renovate and restore an old movie house. It was super cool to get to watch a movie in an old timey styled place! Great place to spend an afternoon or evening if looking for something to do!
Kayla Kessinger: Nice little theater with very affordable ticket prices. They had beer and wine for purchase. Will be returning for more movies here!
Calum Crisson: There was a black out so they let us skip the previews
Matt Jenkins: Great small venue!!
Ravi Jeyaraman: Nice location, sound system and ambience
Bill Strader: Love this joint. I appreciate living within walking distance to a theater that shows movies that very few people want to see. Has a very "Art House" feel. I would volunteer there, but I'm really lazy and generally too tired from walking back and forth to the theater. Has a coffee shop within the building that is better than Starbucks, but...to be honest, Starbucks sucks, so.....Love this joint. 😁
David Sardinha: Awesome place for Art House movies and original music/concerts.

Cary Players Community Theatre Company: what do users think?
val mackay: Very nice small town public theater, well worth the time to see a play or musical
Hommy: Beautiful theatre and Fiddler rendition was professional and awe-inspiring at every level - acting, orchestra, lighting, sound, costumes.A lot of mask-wearing audience members but most without and they are not stipulated. (Strange how mask mandates ended a year ago but it has a stronghold in Cary, NC. An actor even came on stage wearing a mask, then realized and removed it.)
Terence Smith: I enjoyed the size of the theater. All seats are acceptable and very reasonablypriced. Unlike large theaters that require opera glasses to see the actors in economical seats. The acting in the play was enjoyable. We will definitely go again.
Joseph LaCava: Wonderful rendition of Clue. Mr Green and the Butler stole the show!!!
Ken Lake: Great show, reminded me of the old radio shows

Kenny Stasteck: Change your guard with the gun don't like the fact everytime I come in this guard has to be staring at me and my girl like there's no tomorrow, my advice hire security that is attentively looking for danger, not attentively looking at someone else's woman
S D: Sound and cleanliness was good. The seats were comfortable but very worn out. The leather was gone. All the recliners worked and the view was unobstructed. With new theaters around close corporate should consider a replacement of the recliners.
John Jones: I had a very bad experience with the IMAX theater... Volume was so loud. It hurt your ears... Very painful at times..It absolutely ruined the movie... Normally I've had good experiences but this really was bad...
rachel bailey: Beware, there was no air conditioning in theatre 12 on Saturday, July 1st, 2023. It was stuffy and uncomfortable. Also no less than 30 minutes of previews. The movie was for 1 45pm, it started around 2 15pm. I arrived at the theatre around 2 06pm and was surprised it hadnt started yet.Leather seats are worn and gross. I was forced to use this theatre because Brier Creek wasn't playing the movie I wanted to see.
Absolute Entertainment: Great sound in iMax. The thatre is old. The seats ate worn. The stadium seating angle is off so viewing is like Mystery Science Theater with heads in front of you.
Jayme Dubernas: Friendly staff. I bought the monthly unlimited movies. Good deal if you are planning to frequent the theaters. Only can be used by the person who purchased it. Photo idea on pass.
Susan Garland: Ticket payment online does not go through at the end and with no confirmation, you can’t tell if yr paymt went thru
Dustin Wood: Decent theater with reclining seats. They are well used but the theater is generally clean and has a good selection of movie snacks.
S&N Quick Mart: I wish I was able to leave without any star.we went to watch arabic movie.they chose the worst place to show our movie&they charge us extra from any other movies.the folding chairs &ac wasn't work .it was very bad choice
Janene Cameron: Omg the faux leather is so gross my kids just stood there and didn’t want to sit down haven’t been here in years wouldn’t come again unless they replaced their seating yuck 🤮
David Schwager (Dave): Awesome reclining seating! Great movie experience!
Corey Caffrey: The theatre was unbearably hot. 87 degrees outside, 92 inside. Completely ruined the movie for me.
Steve Laster: Seats are pretty worn, slushie machine was broken or out of the flavoring. Definitely not enough people working the concessions. For the cost it's not worth it to me. This used to be a pretty solid place for mocies, needs investment.
jamillah mcnair: concession was backed up
Cynthia Lopez: My husband and I went for a late night movie on a Saturday. It was our first time in over ten years. Prices are way up there for candy etc but overall it was a good time. We watched elemental. It was a cute Pixar movie. We will be back soon!
Ernie Williams: I was disappointed with the theater. There was nobody at the ticket booth to purchase tickets, and then I was waved down by an employee asking me where my ticket was... The cinema seats were completely torn and the seats were not in the best condition
Andri Seay: Walked in to see Astroid City and the theater was dirty. Popcorn on the ground and a liquid sitting in the cup holder. Some of the chairs had the leather peeling. Some seemed to be covered and if they were damaged and not to be used. Whole building smelled damp and unpleasant. We just ended up leaving.
Bonnie Thompson: No lines, matinee time. Plenty of seats.
Leslie Mamuscia: Get here at least 45 min early for your movie on weekends. They are always short staffed, and the employees they do have working concessions go at a snails pace. On our last visit, my spouse missed 20 minutes of movie standing in a line with only 2 people in front of him, but 5 employees behind the counter.
Alex J: Not very clean, but the movie was the right volume and the seats are very nice. You never have to worry about someone's head blocking your view
Kevin Boyette: Ayo what recliners?

james h: Love the show!
Terri Raines: My shy, reserved, apprehensive now 13 yo first attended a Sat afternoon workshop with TAP five years ago (2018). He walked out of the workshop saying “sign me up for EVERYTHING!” He has since done at least 10 full performances, several semester long classes, lots of summer camps and he has started working as a teacher’s aide. He has developed a philosophical voice, a singing voice, a sense of community, along with a solid commitment to his team, all thanks to the amazing staff and directors at TAP. I have zero doubt that he is well supervised and in good hands when he is at TAP and I have grown to rely on them as part of my parenting “village”. His significant growth in the arts is just a side benefit.
Sandy Rinaldi: Minus ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️!!! Shame on thiese people! These are children and all children are not the.same. This is an acting class and acting is subjective. To try and expel this child through devious and passive aggressive methods is cruel and unkind. My message is that this child is just as beautiful as all the children in the class! It is truly their loss. There are many kind and good people in the world who will accept and be blessed to have your child in their midst. It surely is not this group of “ mean girls’!!!!!😡😡🤬
Michael Quinn: It took a lot for me to post this review. I never write bad reviews and I hope to never again. In summary, the owner Kevin and Michelle the artistic director are just not good people at all. I just could not stay silent. My daughter started their beginner acting class end of January. She is 7 and had been waiting years to be able to start. After 2 weeks, I thought everything was fine until we got an email that they didn’t want our daughter back. The main issues, she was hugging and kissing other students, had trouble focusing the whole hour, and spoke out of turn. We were shocked by the email and knew this wasn’t the place for her. It was just a beginning acting class and she was having so much fun, so we called the owner and worked it out. We did speak with our daughter about not hugging and trying to stay focused. My wife went the following week to help her, and everything went fine. Next week a family friend went in with her and it went well. Still received emails from the owner, making sure someone would be with her. In the fifth week, my wife didn’t go in but watched. She was starting chemo next week and knew she couldn’t do this every week. We thought it went fine, watching her the whole time and when asked the teachers how it went, the only response was fine until the end she got tired. Then here comes the emails again. This time there were a bunch of lies, she pulled up her skirt, which my wife made sure she was wearing pants and tried to hug someone again. They told us they knew my wife had started chemo and insisted we find someone to assist her in class. We knew they just wanted to get rid of her and we had enough. I had to break my poor little daughter’s heart. She cried and cried she could not go back. I am sure they were happy. My daughter wasn’t as good or obedient as the other students. I don’t know about acting classes, but I played a lot of little league sports. We had kids that scored goals for the other teams, couldn’t throw a ball to save their life, couldn’t stay focused, and were just horrible but no one ever said a thing. Their kids just having fun and trying to learn something new. Now this place could have a great program and produce great performances; however, I don’t care, they are despicable.
Irena W: ❤❤❤❤❤
Allison M.: My daughter did a camp at TAP this past summer and absolutely loved it. It was her first time doing theater and she learned so much. The show the kids put on was amazing and we were really impressed with organization and the directing. They were on the ball! She liked the efficiency and seeing the "real results" of the show. She is begging me to return and wants to do more!
Lindsay Wrege: An amazing company!! I was an audience member, but it was so clear there is a real community across TAP. These people love each other, support each other, and are proud to share the spotlight with each other. Way to go TAP!
Rebecca: TAP has been an incredible experience for my daughter. She has been involved in 3 different theater groups, and this has been her favorite! The staff and teachers are the best I’ve seen! They always put on amazing shows. We highly recommend TAP to any of our friends interested in children’s theater!
Kathleen Christensen: Being a part of TAP has been one of the best experiences for our son. The instructors are enthusiastic, supportive, and make every session fun. Its a positive and uplifting environment where the kids encourage each other and form tight bonds. We have been impressed with the quality of the productions and the talented actors. TAP is the best!
Landon Carson: TAP is an amazing place for children of all ages to express themselves and get creative! I would recommend it for all children, whether they want to build an acting resume or build confidence!
Jorge Santoyo: TAP consistently puts on amazing performances. The students and staff seem to absolutely love every moment of it. I haven't missed a show since my little sister joined and won't be missing any in the future. Highly recommend!
James P Farrell: # 1 best best experience for your son or daughter. As part of the TAP family, you will find your student will learn and grown so much! The teachers are amazing and wicked awesome, that blend high expectations, love, and care for the kids. TAP is professional from top to bottom, then see a performance and you will be completely blown away!!!! We love TAP and everything about it.
Claudia Casco: TAP has been such an extraordinary environment for my daughter. She is not just learning amazing theater skills, but life skills like team work, respect, generosity and a passion for hard work. She found at TAP a loving community led by wonderful staff.Amazing productions, we cannot be happier!
Christine Macomber: This group continues to amaze me--they put on incredible productions and the children have so much fun and are so supportive of each other. The people that work at TAP are really wonderful. This group has had a very positive impact on my 7th grader. So grateful to be a part of TAP.
Christina Johnson: Just finished our second production with TAP, and my daughter is already asking to go be in the next! The staff fosters a wonderful positive atmosphere during all rehearsals, classes, and performances. They put on quality shows and the kids really are learning not only about theater, but about self-confidence and team work. Highly recommended
Mae Villanueva: My daughter has had the BEST experience at TAP!
ari: I love Theater Academy Productions it’s so much fun!
lisa Baronian: Can’t say enough great things about this amazing program!! My daughter has been a part of all 4 of this years shows and it is amazing to see what she has learned and the confidence she has gained. So glad we are a part of the TAP family!!!
Aimee Montgomery: Wonderful organization. My daughter loves her classes and is truly growing in her acting and singing. Thank you TAP!
Gary Christensen: Wonderful program for young people to explore their acting talents.
T W: My son attends drama classes here and absolutely loves it. Awesome staff, great atmosphere, fun productions!

CMX CinéBistro at Waverly Place: what do users think?
Suzarra: My husband ordered the poke bowl and I ordered the the shrimp pasta. Both were excellent 💯. Staff wake kind helpful and informative. We will be bake soon!
Meghan Sloan: We’ve been here many times and received great service…our most recent time was the worst. I wouldn’t normally complain but when you’re automatically charged for gratuity you expect to receive at least some service. Our server took our order and then we never saw her again. We came to see the new Transformers movie for my sons birthday…his food came out wrong…our server was no where to be found. Usually they come back to check on you before the movie starts, nope, never saw anyone. We had to track someone down to get my son's food corrected! Once my son’s correct food came out to him my husband asked the server for another drink and was told we had to go to the bar to get it. Why am I tipping anyone?! We had to do everything our self! We received no apology for screwing up our order...my poor son had to wait forever for his food on his birthday! There was no staff to be found so I submitted my complaint online...its been 5 days now with no response from anyone. It is clear that customer's concerns are of no importance at this establishment.
Maria Molchan: I am SO disappointed about this venue. We visited a couple of years ago and it was beautiful and well staffed. When my son and I came back last week, it was poorly kept and service was almost absent. The chairs alone are extremely worn that it takes away from the lovely space it's in. We arrive 45 min before showtime (suggested is 30 for food and beverage service) but it took about 30 min to get served. We received our order right before showtime and no one came back to clear our dishes or refill our popcorn. We did not need a refill but when they charge upwards of $20 for bottomless popcorn, SOMEONE should come back at least once. So sad about this place now.
Caren Enloe: Starting to look a little old and weary but still great service.
Claire Hinson: We enjoyed the atmosphere of the theater however the seats were peeling really badly. My seat bottom was completely peeled off and came off on my legs and clothes. Really not a good feeling to have seat pieces stick to my legs (shorts for summer!)
Javier Murillo: The service at Cinebistro was horrible yesterday. The manager was very unpleasant and unprofessional. He did not display good customer service nor did he try to address any issues that arised. Cinebistro has too many qualities of luxury to have a manager ( Grant Lipscomb)that does not display the same disposition.
Christopher Hunter: Bar tender was on point...big time convo, he was so good I bought a drink I didn't even want. That's service! He had all of us laughing.
Sis Tamya Pass: AWESOME!!!
Mr Johnson: Food and drinks are EXTREMELY overpriced. Staff is nice however and the cinemas are comfy.
Angel Carter: The staff here is always amazing. The food is delicious and has gotten even better than it was a few years ago. I personally recommend the brussel sprouts. The chairs are a bit worn down, but the rest of the theater looks great.
Jeff Herring: The food was very good the many times I've been there, yes it's pricey but we are always satisfied, and the seats are comfortable. A far better experience than most cheap movie theaters. A perfect date night event.
T Wick: Edit: I hate to make this post but without basic cleanliness and upkeep, this theater has fallen past the point of comfort. The bathrooms are dirtier and more poorly stocked than many gas stations. After the acquisition the food is no longer worth the extra charge. The seating and flooring is falling apart and needs refurbishment. Service still holds strong with many hard working veterans of many years. I hope the parent company will take note and rescue this once great luxury theater from its current state.Old entry:Our favorite date night destination. Food is great, limited reserved seating is low stress, and the service is fantastic and friendly.
Jozetta Scott: The movie was good, the shrimp florentine was very, very good.
Jason Fraley: While the service is still good... The food value and quality is starting to suffer as well as the seating.
Samantha: Very disappointed. The seats were torn and very loud when reclining, the bathroom was messy, and the popcorn was cold. $40 for one ticket, popcorn and a soda should be a better experience. Being automatically expected to tip when refills aren’t brought to you throughout the movie is a scam. There were a lot of food and drink items not available to order. The staff was all very very nice, but go somewhere else for your dinner and a movie date.
Ella Rose: So the reason I’m giving it a three star review is the place and it’s a huge renovation the seats are falling apart. They’re not graduated down so that you can see over the seat in front of you if you’re tiny like I am! The theaters a mess! However, the quality of service was amazing. The movie was running behind because it wasn’t down loading properly and it was late arriving. No problem, my friends and I had a ball just sitting around chitchatting with the other ladies next to us.The general manager I believe his name is Josh I can’t remember was wonderful not only did we got free popcorn and waters but we also received gift cards for another visit and also a $25 food credit. Who does that nowadays nobody! I have to say they went above and beyond and it was wonderful service. I would just like to see renovations to the theater. It’s so shabby. And it’s hard for me to go there because of how the seats are. However, they did give us cushions for those of us. They were too short, and it was quite helpful.!Service means everything and that’s the reason it would bring me back!
Tanisha Polk: Awesome
Suliman Al Zoubi: Very comforting and quiet
Stephanie Hanke: I am shocked at how far downhill cinebistro has gone. I haven’t been to this particular theater in years because lots of other options opened in the area with similar offerings and I will not be coming back. The seats are totally ripped up. I had seat remnants all over my shirt. The wait staff was mediocre and unfriendly, and the food was awful. We paid over $150 for tickets and food and wow - what a waste. The bathroom floors were sticky. Toilet paper wasn’t even on the dispenser. The soap dispensers were mostly hanging off of the wall. Several sinks were broken. Yikes. Spare yourself and your wallet and go anywhere else. Fenton and parkside are better options than conebistro. What a shame.
James: Service was great. But the food (although good) is way overpriced for the amount you actually receive, and in the theater room I was in all the seats were on the same level which kind of makes you look up at the screen wherever you sit.
Degairae Lipscomb: Went to see Spiderman across the multiverse here was very relaxing and the food was delicious
