The Drive-In at Carraway Village: what do users think?
Lizzie McCrory: It's a small drive-in but a decent one. Cornhole and Jenga set up for pre-movie and concessions you can order via app.
Rainey Sellars: Amazing place
Taryn H: Great view, small lot. A little pricey IMO but good experience.
Andrew Dowen: I guess this place is rain or shine since it is currently thundering and lightening. I understand the website states no refunds, but my goodness. Not an enjoyable experience trying to watch through rain drops and windshield wipers. Sound is very poppy and crackling as well (because of weather). On a side note, the staff was very friendly and accommodating as they left us a radio that worked better than our car radio. I would've gave only 1 star if it had not been for the staff.I do not recommend coming to watch a movie here unless you can arrive at least an hour prior to movie. The one in Henderson has a much bigger screen.
Veronica Parks: It was a nice big screen and a lot of space for the cars to park. You order your snacks and they bring it to your car. The only thing I didn't like was the outside Porta potty bathroom.
Benjamin Reinhart: If you want to see new movies but you don't feel comfortable being indoors and wearing a mask, the Carraway Village drive-in is a great alternative theater. They'll even bring refreshments to your car.
Heather Wells: Check in was easy. They do push you to purchase concessions, as that is how they make their money. I would recommend bringing an am/fm radio, as you can drain your battery otherwise.
Justin Mitchell: I really want to like this place, but I just can’t see myself going back. The brightness of the projector is a big problem. I could barely make out most of the Spider-Man movie. Even in bright scenes it was hard to see character’s faces because the contrast was so bad. The issue is compounded by the fact that there’s bright lights in the background. It would help if they put up some trees lining the road behind the screen. Also, a note to the owners: you should advertise more on your website that you sell concessions. I would have bought them from you had I known that you had them.Fix the light problems and I’ll come back.
K B: A really special gem in Chapel Hill. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. They guide you every step of the way, and make sure each type of car is accomodated (front facing vs. people watching from their trunk, small cars are never put behind big trucks). They also have local bands play a recorded show beforehand, which is a fun way to wait for the movie. Concessions are good and more affordable than at a movie theater.
JB Bentz: Great family experience. I will be going back.
Danny Williams: Great place for a night out. With Covid making a traditional theater a less attractive choice, this was a great relief. The screen was smaller than the drive in theaters I went to when I was young, but the picture was crystal clear, and the sound was amazing broadcast through your radio. The staff was polite and thorough. The only downside was during the show, they didn't act if someone turned on their lights, or in my case tapped out a message to their case managers in morse code with their brake lights. The person next to me was out of his car and finally went to ask them to stop. The concessions was the most impressive part. When you enter you are given a small card with a qr code to access the order website. It is slightly confusing. Choose pick up in the options and then your space number in the notes. After you make and enter your payment information, hit place order. It took them less than 10 minutes to deliver or order to our car. You may could sneak in snacks, even if they ask you not to, (remember concessions are how the theater make money, almost all the ticket sales go to the movie company so if you want Drive-Ins to prosper, try and support them. This is my first movie since Covid. It was great to get out and see a movie in a good and safe setting.
Lt. Mittens Honcho: We went for the first time on Christmas Eve, 2021 to see Spider-Man and we had a really nice time! It's a very modest set up but that's actually one of the best parts. When we arrived they asked us which way we were going to park and coordinated all parking in that manner, very good approach. The snacks are reasonably priced compared to big chain theaters and exactly what you'd expect. There's no physical concession stand and we had some trouble ordering from our phones online but someone came over and helped us without much issue. The only things stopping me from giving 5 stars are minor but worth mentioning. The traffic turning into Carraway Village can be distracting with their headlights. This isn't really the fault of the theater or the people going about their day, but it is annoying. I also would like an option of where to park. This is minor but I wouldn't have chosen where we were. Overall though it was a positive experience and we will be back.
James Clarke: This felt very safe during Covid times. The people nearest to us were about 10 feet away, and in their cars. Getting in and out went smoothly. The sound was as good as my car stereo. The people working there were friendly and got things organized well. You order food (popcorn and snacks) on your phone and they bring it to your car. There are porta potties up front. Not a great thing but way better than but having any facilities. They say no outside food or drink on the website but everyone I could see brought food.EDIT:My problem below has mostly been fixed. They added some plywood and plastic to cover the space you could see the light behind the screen. This helps a lot. There are still several lights that cause a contrast issues with the darker scenes but they have made substantial improvements and they should be commended for it. It helped make the experience better. The last photo I have posted before shows the new screen setup. We did go back, we felt safe and it was still well run.Original comment below:The only real issue I had was that there are street lights behind the screen, one right below it, that really blow out the contrast when you're watching the movie. The darkest scenes were almost impossible to make out, the bright scenes were fine though. I think a 3 foot piece of plywood at the bottom of the screen to click the light could fix that pretty easily. (You can really see it one if the pictures below.)We will probably go back again. Everything felt very safe and well run.
Mackenzie Sanchez: I LOVED IT!!!! good service, good vibes and just an overall great experience for family and friends 10/10 would recommend and go again
Brieann Mendez: The kids had never experienced a drive-in movie. I, on the other had, grew up with them. The 14 and 16 year old had a great time. It's great for bonding. It brought back a great time in my life that I was able to share with them. The staff were wonderful, the 3 movies we have seen were great fun. Perfect family time. Thanks guys for giving us this experience in trying times.
Juan Carlos Sanchez: Nice
Lisbi Abraham: This was our first movie experience in over 18 months, and while it wasn't the same as an in-theater experience (mosquitoes don't add to the ambiance), it was pretty good. The service was very friendly, we were guided to our spot, and the sound from the FM station was very clear. We were a little annoyed by a car arriving late with their headlights on and ignoring the guidance to turn off all their lights, but that was no different than people arriving late in a regular theater and being noisy finding their seat.
Casey Rawson: We had a great time here! The staff did a nice job spacing all the cars so that everyone could see. Concessions were reasonably priced - we ordered ahead and it was ready when we arrived. Can't wait to go back when the weather is a little cooler.
Rich Sangillo: Ugh. In the world of drive-ins this is not a good drive-in at all. Second worst I've ever been to ranking behind Bengie's in Maryland which is the worst drive-in on the planet.
Leo K Gaev: Too much light pollution! Even after the sun is fully set, there is so much light surrounding the screen, that it completely defeats the purpose of the drive in experience. Add to that the muddy trek to the ports-john, the 30 min of mind-numbing ads and spacer content, I’d rather lay back in a plush chair at Silverspot, get some real popcorn from the Chelsea (not bagged “movie popcorn”) or just stream from the comfort of my couch. Try again folks.
Carl Williams: Saw a great laser light show

CMX CinéBistro at Waverly Place: what do users think?
Suzarra: My husband ordered the poke bowl and I ordered the the shrimp pasta. Both were excellent 💯. Staff wake kind helpful and informative. We will be bake soon!
Meghan Sloan: We’ve been here many times and received great service…our most recent time was the worst. I wouldn’t normally complain but when you’re automatically charged for gratuity you expect to receive at least some service. Our server took our order and then we never saw her again. We came to see the new Transformers movie for my sons birthday…his food came out wrong…our server was no where to be found. Usually they come back to check on you before the movie starts, nope, never saw anyone. We had to track someone down to get my son's food corrected! Once my son’s correct food came out to him my husband asked the server for another drink and was told we had to go to the bar to get it. Why am I tipping anyone?! We had to do everything our self! We received no apology for screwing up our order...my poor son had to wait forever for his food on his birthday! There was no staff to be found so I submitted my complaint online...its been 5 days now with no response from anyone. It is clear that customer's concerns are of no importance at this establishment.
Maria Molchan: I am SO disappointed about this venue. We visited a couple of years ago and it was beautiful and well staffed. When my son and I came back last week, it was poorly kept and service was almost absent. The chairs alone are extremely worn that it takes away from the lovely space it's in. We arrive 45 min before showtime (suggested is 30 for food and beverage service) but it took about 30 min to get served. We received our order right before showtime and no one came back to clear our dishes or refill our popcorn. We did not need a refill but when they charge upwards of $20 for bottomless popcorn, SOMEONE should come back at least once. So sad about this place now.
Caren Enloe: Starting to look a little old and weary but still great service.
Claire Hinson: We enjoyed the atmosphere of the theater however the seats were peeling really badly. My seat bottom was completely peeled off and came off on my legs and clothes. Really not a good feeling to have seat pieces stick to my legs (shorts for summer!)
Javier Murillo: The service at Cinebistro was horrible yesterday. The manager was very unpleasant and unprofessional. He did not display good customer service nor did he try to address any issues that arised. Cinebistro has too many qualities of luxury to have a manager ( Grant Lipscomb)that does not display the same disposition.
Christopher Hunter: Bar tender was on point...big time convo, he was so good I bought a drink I didn't even want. That's service! He had all of us laughing.
Sis Tamya Pass: AWESOME!!!
Mr Johnson: Food and drinks are EXTREMELY overpriced. Staff is nice however and the cinemas are comfy.
Angel Carter: The staff here is always amazing. The food is delicious and has gotten even better than it was a few years ago. I personally recommend the brussel sprouts. The chairs are a bit worn down, but the rest of the theater looks great.
Jeff Herring: The food was very good the many times I've been there, yes it's pricey but we are always satisfied, and the seats are comfortable. A far better experience than most cheap movie theaters. A perfect date night event.
T Wick: Edit: I hate to make this post but without basic cleanliness and upkeep, this theater has fallen past the point of comfort. The bathrooms are dirtier and more poorly stocked than many gas stations. After the acquisition the food is no longer worth the extra charge. The seating and flooring is falling apart and needs refurbishment. Service still holds strong with many hard working veterans of many years. I hope the parent company will take note and rescue this once great luxury theater from its current state.Old entry:Our favorite date night destination. Food is great, limited reserved seating is low stress, and the service is fantastic and friendly.
Jozetta Scott: The movie was good, the shrimp florentine was very, very good.
Jason Fraley: While the service is still good... The food value and quality is starting to suffer as well as the seating.
Samantha: Very disappointed. The seats were torn and very loud when reclining, the bathroom was messy, and the popcorn was cold. $40 for one ticket, popcorn and a soda should be a better experience. Being automatically expected to tip when refills aren’t brought to you throughout the movie is a scam. There were a lot of food and drink items not available to order. The staff was all very very nice, but go somewhere else for your dinner and a movie date.
Ella Rose: So the reason I’m giving it a three star review is the place and it’s a huge renovation the seats are falling apart. They’re not graduated down so that you can see over the seat in front of you if you’re tiny like I am! The theaters a mess! However, the quality of service was amazing. The movie was running behind because it wasn’t down loading properly and it was late arriving. No problem, my friends and I had a ball just sitting around chitchatting with the other ladies next to us.The general manager I believe his name is Josh I can’t remember was wonderful not only did we got free popcorn and waters but we also received gift cards for another visit and also a $25 food credit. Who does that nowadays nobody! I have to say they went above and beyond and it was wonderful service. I would just like to see renovations to the theater. It’s so shabby. And it’s hard for me to go there because of how the seats are. However, they did give us cushions for those of us. They were too short, and it was quite helpful.!Service means everything and that’s the reason it would bring me back!
Tanisha Polk: Awesome
Suliman Al Zoubi: Very comforting and quiet
Stephanie Hanke: I am shocked at how far downhill cinebistro has gone. I haven’t been to this particular theater in years because lots of other options opened in the area with similar offerings and I will not be coming back. The seats are totally ripped up. I had seat remnants all over my shirt. The wait staff was mediocre and unfriendly, and the food was awful. We paid over $150 for tickets and food and wow - what a waste. The bathroom floors were sticky. Toilet paper wasn’t even on the dispenser. The soap dispensers were mostly hanging off of the wall. Several sinks were broken. Yikes. Spare yourself and your wallet and go anywhere else. Fenton and parkside are better options than conebistro. What a shame.
James: Service was great. But the food (although good) is way overpriced for the amount you actually receive, and in the theater room I was in all the seats were on the same level which kind of makes you look up at the screen wherever you sit.
Degairae Lipscomb: Went to see Spiderman across the multiverse here was very relaxing and the food was delicious

The Cary Theater: what do users think?
Caroline Gilmore: Great multi-use venue located in the old section of Cary.
Henry M. Lancaster II: Cozy venue for viewing and listening.
Robert Campbell: Wonderful local theater, just watched Star Wars (Episode IV - A New Hope), a great experience! I have also attended comedy shows here, along with other live performances. Really a fun downtown venue with something for everyone!
Patsy Wiser: Everything was great about this place except the popcorn. Dry and tasteless. Should invest in a popcorn popper.
Lee Hardin: Absolutely love this theatre. Performed there last night. Staff, and audience couldn’t have been better!
Carol Hesse: Had an awesome time doing the White Christmas film. It was a sing along and the theater gave us a bell and card with additional instructions for interaction during the show! Such fun!
Christine Gonzalez: Great small venue. We have enjoyed two jazz events here, one with floor seats, one in balcony. I prefer the balcony view.
S Tam: An awesome local venue. We went to watch Sunday Jazz. Its the 1st Sunday each month at 3pm. An excellent way to finish off the weekend!
Mario Borgnia: Very nice little theater screening selected movies in the least suburban part of Cary.
Randy Rambeau: Very nice facility!
Debra Penne: Very cool little indie theater. Clean and comfy, snacks beer and wine. What's not to like? Try it... you won't be sorry.
Betty Jameson: Fun experience.
Sergey Osokin: Small, quiet and very convenient place that shows indie movies. The Truffle Hunters movie was very nice, thank you!
Kaileigh Ault: SUPER neat little place! It's super cool that the town of Cary decided to renovate and restore an old movie house. It was super cool to get to watch a movie in an old timey styled place! Great place to spend an afternoon or evening if looking for something to do!
Kayla Kessinger: Nice little theater with very affordable ticket prices. They had beer and wine for purchase. Will be returning for more movies here!
Calum Crisson: There was a black out so they let us skip the previews
Matt Jenkins: Great small venue!!
Ravi Jeyaraman: Nice location, sound system and ambience
Bill Strader: Love this joint. I appreciate living within walking distance to a theater that shows movies that very few people want to see. Has a very "Art House" feel. I would volunteer there, but I'm really lazy and generally too tired from walking back and forth to the theater. Has a coffee shop within the building that is better than Starbucks, but...to be honest, Starbucks sucks, so.....Love this joint. 😁
David Sardinha: Awesome place for Art House movies and original music/concerts.
Jamie Berger: So cute and affordable. A gem in downtown Cary.

Paragon Theaters Parkside + Extreme: what do users think?
China Preston: This is our go-to spot for movie night. We always spend a lot of money coming here. Sucks that you spend money on large items expecting a free refill only to be told, "we don't do refills here." Not to mention, if you forget to give them your phone number for rewards, there's no way for them to go back and add your points from all the money you just spent to your rewards account. May need to just find a new movie spot.
Briana Thompson: I came here tonight excited to try out a new dine in theatre and received the worst service I’ve ever experienced. I paid for Lux Box seats and ordered food and drinks before my movie ever started. I never received my drink from the bar at all but received a text asking if I wanted to order another round. My food arrived after an hour and twenty minutes of waiting when the movie I watched was only an hour forty minutes long, and my order was completely incorrect and everything was cold. After leaving out of the movie and missing part of it to inquiry about my drink I was met with a rude employee who was didn’t care about my customer experience. Needless to say I was better off not ordering at all and I will never return to this location.
Vicky's Expedition: I had to edit my review from a 5star to 1 as this customer experience is getting worst. To start of I was in auditorium 7 today, I booked my tickets row F7 and F8. F7 seat was broken. I approached customer service and they changed my seats from D7 & D8, D7 recliner was not working. Then I noticed row F9, E5 and many many more seats in the auditorium was broken. I hope the management notices these issues and fix the seats ASAP. I experienced this issue for the second time and that is why I was forced to write this review. We come to movies to relax and have fun and when we come across these issues we feel like our movie experience is ruined and 3 hours of time wasted.
Donna ranson: Customer service wasn't very good but I love the verity of things that were available to do
Randi Conley: This was my first visit since the ownership changed to Paragon Theaters. My husband and I planned on ordering dinner to eat while watching a movie. When purchasing tickets we learned that you have to buy specific seats to be eligible for ordering food. They are more expensive, but we were willing - except they were sold out. There was no option of ordering food from the restaurant and bringing it into the theater. Oh well, we ate popcorn for dinner. The staff didn't turn the lights off at the start of the movie. After 10 minutes I went and found someone to help. There was large piece missing from a toilet seat in the restroom and other minor things adding to the poor experience. I love the food/movie/bowling concept and hope they can turn things around.
shivani thakar: Awesome theater.. they had a technical issue with the sound for my Spider-Man movie … the manager not only gave us free passes to refund what we paid but also accommodated us in the next show which was completely booked with an upgrade to luxebox… way to go … this was and will be my go to movie station……
Zachary Kasznel: They will not let you cancel tickets you purchased online without physically being in the establishment. Practices like this only serve to take advantage of unexpected situations of customers in order to keep money. Terrible business practice, and they should really reconsider the policy.
Kelly Little: Very nice theater that serves food and drinks.
Rebekah Shipp: Very disappointed. Super slow service. Poor menu selection. Some seats/tray tables don't operate properly. Even though this theater is a block away, we would rather drive 20 minutes further to go to a nicer theater in Fenton.
Tbird 66: The nice recliners make the experience SO MUCH BETTER
Ron Cohen: It's a bit run down compared to the Fenton one. And even with free tickets it was $75 for 2 burgers (one was the wrong burger but not worth the time or trouble to get replaced and the toppings where almost non existent), 2 drinks, 3 pretzel logs, and 2 tiny boxes of candy). Lots of staff, but only one who seemed to pay attention to guests. No actual servers like similar theaters in the area. Absolutely much better options available.
Rijul Razdan: The best movie experience ever. I have never seen a movie screen as big as this. We watched the new spiderman across the spider verse movie in the extreme 15 theater and the Dolby Atmos experience is just out of this world. They have dine-in option, recliner and heated seats, and have privacy dividers. 5 stars!
K Brie: One of the best theaters in the area!
j a: Always enjoy going here. The food is good enough, the atmosphere is great, and the screens BIG!!
AJS: One of the chairs didn't work. The chair wouldn't recline or do anything. So one of the other guests in my party had to move down to the chair next to it. Other than that, everything else was good
Sarah A.: I was so excited to finally check out this theater but I was so disappointed. This theater is dirty!I came here on a Sunday evening to watch the new Little Mermaid movie. And the place was SO dirty. There was popcorn, paper towels and straws all over the lobby and especially in front of the concession stand. It was horrible to look at. And unfortunately when I came out of my movie 2.5 hours later, the mess was still there and even worse. I don’t think anyone cleans. My popcorn was also cold, which was sad. There isn’t a huge variety of snacks either. The one positive is the seats were comfortable and they recline.Overall, I would not recommend. This theater is a mess.
Chris Cooper: Great seating. The theater arrangement gives you lots of room and you feel like you have a private portion of the theater. The staff could do a little better with keeping the place clean and wiped down. The office at the front door can be seen through the windows and looks junky and unkept.
Punniamoorthy C: Good
Jenniferii Harris: This place is DIRTY. People standing around and it wasn’t busy so I’m not sure why none of the mess was being addressed. We were also apparently able to buy a ticket for a Lux Box seat which does not exist. Manager told my husband it wasn’t possible and to their credit took and picture and is looking into it? Nothing else said to Husband.Tried to go order food at the bar to not even be acknowledged for an unreasonable amount of time. And honestly after seeing how they care for the public space I don’t feel safe eating here.I witnessed more than one employee eating. One was at the counter and another eating a chicken wing INSIDE the kitchen where food prep was happening.I’m also a believer that employees need and deserve breaks. BUT They need to eat in designated areas and hand wash. This was our first movie in several years, and my sons first movie. We really wanted it to be special and we arrived 45mins before the show to ensure they had time to eat.Only to find out we can’t even bring food into the theatre. This place would get NEGATIVE stars if possible.
ben hartwick: I’m going to start with my expectations are higher than most at a move theater. The video was great, but sound was missing all low end. Our $7 sodas didn’t have ice and the popcorn didn’t have butter.
Alene Williamson: Great experience.....
