Russell Saine: I just started renting today so I have a limited experience so far, but the place seems secure and my climate controlled unit seems adequately cooled even on this 90 degree day. The one part of my experience today that stood out was Grace. She was the lady that helped me get signed up. She's very helpful and professional. She made sure I understood all the terms and conditions and walked me through verifying my code and keys work.So if you need a unit in this area I would say don't hesitate to go talk to Grace and hopefully they have a unit available that will fit your needs.*Update* After the first week of renting this unit we received the first rain in a long while which ended up flooding my unit. I was very lucky in that I had suspicions based on floor stains so I went to check on it right as the rain started. Luckily they had another unit available and quickly allowed me to move my stuff. They handled it the best they could given the situation. I just learned a lesson that when it looks like there's water stains there's probably a leak somewhere. I'm still a happy customer but honestly a large part of that is due to my diligence and luck in discovering the leak that flooded my unit before it damaged my stuff.

John: I have had my stuff in a 5x10 unit for about a year and a half to store everything while i lived with family, and never once went back simply because i didn’t need to. Well i went to move out and realized I lost my key, forgot which unit was mine, and how to get in. Grace was extremely helpful in verifying I was the actual owner, giving me a post it with my unit number and gate code. i didn’t know i had lost my key until after this, so i returned a few hours later, and Grace immediately gave me all my options, timeframes for each, and I ended up going with a locksmith she recommended who is also doing great work! Outstanding storage place with an even more outstanding employee, Grace! Considering my past experiences with four different self storage companies, I highly recommend this place if it is nearby! Thanks to Grace and self storage!

The whole thing (including paperwork and my time moving from one room to another) was less an hour and half. Great experience!Previous review(Dec 2021) Strongly recommended. We used to have a storage at lifestorage back in TX. So when i moved to NC, i again use lifestorage. Priscilla was phenomenal helpful. She showed me the space. Help me finalised the rent I initiated online. Everything was done under half an hour. I am glad to trust lifestorage

The customer service was great - The staff was extremely helpful and mindful of the fact that I've rented at Extra Space Storage for years too. I appreciate the attention to detail in helping me get the best rate possible. Its best to book online for a lower rate and then call to confirm at the location that it went through. Highly recommend this location due to the staff that work here too.

JK: I have been renting a storage unit from Extra Space on Maynard since 2020 and have NEVER had any problems. The facility is temp controlled and extremely clean, so you don’t have to worry about property damage from the elements. In the years I have been there, Daryl (I’m pretty sure that’s his name) has always gone above and beyond his duties. I forgot to close my lock one day and he called to let me know. I had a rate change question and he worked to get it straightened out and called me back shortly after. If you need to transfer units it’s as easy as walking in and asking, and they even have little dollys at each entrance you can use that actually roll smoothly. The facility is safe, there are bright led lights inside, security cameras surrounding the entire grounds, and wide automatic sliding doors so you aren’t fighting to get your stuff in the building entrances. Just keep in mind there are hours of operation so you can’t just Willy nilly any time of the night. When I got mine there were plenty of options and floors to choose from, but as the city grows they seem to be getting used up, so if you are looking for one this is hands down the location/place to go. Especially if he is there. I hope the corporate offices know what type of asset he is and all the positive feedback he has received should be a testament to the value he continues to bring Extra Space Storage since I first interacted with him a couple years ago. Betty offers amazing customer service, knowledge on storage/tips for those using storage for the first time, and they even have a free lock and discount on the first month. I highly recommend Space Station for your storage needs!Update: Cubesmart purchased Space Station storage. Betty is no longer with the company. 24-7 access no longer available from my experience. Also, more restrictions regarding using the dumpster. I left a few months after the ownership change.
Barry M: Since buying out Space Station, Cubesmart has raised rent almost 100% in 18 months. Also locked up the dumpster that tenants used. Very disappointed.

Jared Hocutt: Beware of the good reviews for CubeSmart as most of them are from when it was previously Space Station Self Storage. It has since been bought out by CubeSmart and they continue to significantly increase prices. In just over a year, there have been 2 price increases and my rate has gone up 63% from what I was paying for years. They'll claim it's a market rate adjustment, but at that size of increase it's just a money grab after buying out the previous owners.
Katrina Whitaker: The employees have been very nice, but I am mad about the price increase and then losing my stuff to a leaking ceiling. I put this stuff in storage so I wouldn't have to think about it and now this damage has been consuming my life for the past few months. And to think I am paying more money for this stress!!! But the workers have very pleasant attitudes and good spirits.

I met with Angie and Martin I believe it was. I acted fast as soon as I got the referral , showed up at the newly available unit that more suited my needs within 30 min of the referral, I was impressed that they had known so quickly that I was on my way, and the quickly showed me the available unit. I rented it on the spot.. I was able to to get the new unit and move ALL my items in immediately, which was important to me because it was my last day of PTO, IF it was not for their fast and courteous service, ( both cubesmart locations ) , I would have still been stuck in the unit I had, but did not really suit my needs. Thank you to both teams for your help in keeping me as a very happy CubeSmart customer !

Vinny Vince: After letting us have 24-hour access for about a year, manager John Anderton gave us a notice on July 29 to leave by August 7. On the evening of August 7, he rejected the money, which we misinterpreted as a free month for the unit. On the morning of August 8, our code stopped working. On the 9th, we had to get a police escort to recover our belongings. John wants all our stuff out by Saturday or he'll destroy it.Never put your stuff here. In fact, pull it out if you're a current customer.Edit (08/14/2022): I fixed a typo in the manager's name. This review was posted on 08/12.

My experience with Dawn's excellent customer service has made me a Public storage customer for life!

Rebekkah Speller: It would be super helpful if the information that is provided on the website, and in the reservation details reflected the updates process which is evidently completely virtual now. Additionally, gate does not seem to be accessible until 7AM (as opposed to 6AM as stated). The location I booked had incorrect office hours and information at the time of my reservation, my access code did not work all weekend, and the elevator in the front of the property is out of order.Thankfully, I was able to alleviate some of the stress by listening to my debut Studio -EP, Lifter of My Head which is available for streaming on all platforms. If the stress of life's transitions are getting to you, take some time to rest your mind with this collection of gentle, acoustic melodies.I was finally able to access my storage unit on a Monday morning at 7AM, which is a bit less convenient that a Saturday or even Sunday afternoon.
Michael Thumm: My girlfriend and I rented a unit online. We received an email saying we were ready to go, and with the codes we needed. The code would not work to get into the building or through the gate. Once we spent 15 minutes (which is a long time after packing and loading a trailer all day), we were able to get a temporary code that worked. When we got into the building, we realize there were no carts. We decided to not use this unit due to all the difficulties and a high likelihood of future problems. We have tried calling and going by the building to speak to someone about getting a refund. No one is ever there, and no one has returned my calls. I guess I’ll just have to write off that money as wasted. I believe I’ll steer clear of this company if I need a storage unit in the future.
Laura Melson: We have tried a few times now to get a storage space here. We would have an appointment set up and the store manager never would show up. Other times my husband would try to drive to the storage unit during the day to see if maybe he could talk to someone in person no one was ever there. Poor service and a waste of our time.

I was able to come into the the front office and spoke with Sarah who was able to quickly and very nicely upgrade me to the 5x10 unit but that unit was also to small and when I told Miss Sarah at the front desk she just smiled and told me another had opened and transferred me with no issue! Customer service is top notch here and because of Sarah whenever I need storage space I am always going to return here!!

Kathy Williams: I have been renting since February 2022. In October, my. rent increased by 25% with no explanation. No additional security was added, no additional personnel to the office, no additional access features, no changes to the units. When asked why the increase I was directed to the Corporate Office. I sent 2 emails and received no response. I understand periodic increases may be necessary, but felt a 25% increase WITHOUT AN EXPLANATION was excessive. Receiving no response was extremely disappointing and unprofessional.
Sarah Dacres: Daniel was a tremendous help to me today and made everything clear and concise. Used this location in 2017- 2018 when I first moved to the area and everything was reasonably priced and easily accessible. Glad to be back here again for the next few months until the next move!

I went to one public storage unit on hwy 55 but the power was out. The District Manager greeted me and let me know the issue but immediately referred me to the other public storage right down the street. I went and was greeted by Sarah and Daniel. They both took time to help me and even honored the promotion I had reserved for the other public storage location. There was even a time when he saw some water near my unit and he notified me so I could check on my items. He delivered 5 star service for sure.The property itself is very clean. There are large elevators to hold your larger items and they offer a few carts to assist with your move.
