ELLEN DALY: Great storage location. What impressed me the most was how clean it was. Spotless. The staff is also very professional and polite, especially Ginger. They have storage units in various sizes, it was easy to select the perfect unit for our storage needs. The building is also climate controlled with secure entrances. There are multiple entrances and elevators so you can access building closest to your unit. Pricing was also good, competitive with most other companies. We were happy with our choice.

Rebekkah Speller: It would be super helpful if the information that is provided on the website, and in the reservation details reflected the updates process which is evidently completely virtual now. Additionally, gate does not seem to be accessible until 7AM (as opposed to 6AM as stated). The location I booked had incorrect office hours and information at the time of my reservation, my access code did not work all weekend, and the elevator in the front of the property is out of order.Thankfully, I was able to alleviate some of the stress by listening to my debut Studio -EP, Lifter of My Head which is available for streaming on all platforms. If the stress of life's transitions are getting to you, take some time to rest your mind with this collection of gentle, acoustic melodies.I was finally able to access my storage unit on a Monday morning at 7AM, which is a bit less convenient that a Saturday or even Sunday afternoon.
Michael Thumm: My girlfriend and I rented a unit online. We received an email saying we were ready to go, and with the codes we needed. The code would not work to get into the building or through the gate. Once we spent 15 minutes (which is a long time after packing and loading a trailer all day), we were able to get a temporary code that worked. When we got into the building, we realize there were no carts. We decided to not use this unit due to all the difficulties and a high likelihood of future problems. We have tried calling and going by the building to speak to someone about getting a refund. No one is ever there, and no one has returned my calls. I guess I’ll just have to write off that money as wasted. I believe I’ll steer clear of this company if I need a storage unit in the future.
Laura Melson: We have tried a few times now to get a storage space here. We would have an appointment set up and the store manager never would show up. Other times my husband would try to drive to the storage unit during the day to see if maybe he could talk to someone in person no one was ever there. Poor service and a waste of our time.

Mark Spell Jr: At first I chose to move into a 5x5 storage unit but soon noticed the unit was to small for everything I had. I was able to come into the the front office and spoke with Sarah who was able to quickly and very nicely upgrade me to the 5x10 unit but that unit was also to small and when I told Miss Sarah at the front desk she just smiled and told me another had opened and transferred me with no issue! Customer service is top notch here and because of Sarah whenever I need storage space I am always going to return here!!

Sarah was working and in a few minutes she and I had a storage unit picked out and the packing items I would need identified. She walked me thru the application process and explained in detail the hours of the office and times allowed for movement in and out of items. Thanks to her knowlege and her sparkling personality my entire move in experience was the best. On move in day she had Crystal prepared for my arrival and in a very short timeframe all paperwork was completed, keys issued and instructions for downloading a very helpful app were given. The move in process was very pleasurable in large part due to those 2 fine individuals. Thanks girls and thanks Public Storage.

Betty offers amazing customer service, knowledge on storage/tips for those using storage for the first time, and they even have a free lock and discount on the first month. I highly recommend Space Station for your storage needs!Update: Cubesmart purchased Space Station storage. Betty is no longer with the company. 24-7 access no longer available from my experience. Also, more restrictions regarding using the dumpster. I left a few months after the ownership change.
Barry M: Since buying out Space Station, Cubesmart has raised rent almost 100% in 18 months. Also locked up the dumpster that tenants used. Very disappointed.

Jared Hocutt: Beware of the good reviews for CubeSmart as most of them are from when it was previously Space Station Self Storage. It has since been bought out by CubeSmart and they continue to significantly increase prices. In just over a year, there have been 2 price increases and my rate has gone up 63% from what I was paying for years. They'll claim it's a market rate adjustment, but at that size of increase it's just a money grab after buying out the previous owners.
Katrina Whitaker: The employees have been very nice, but I am mad about the price increase and then losing my stuff to a leaking ceiling. I put this stuff in storage so I wouldn't have to think about it and now this damage has been consuming my life for the past few months. And to think I am paying more money for this stress!!! But the workers have very pleasant attitudes and good spirits.

Michael Carter: I was referred here by a sister store because I wanted to move into a drive up storage unit, I really appreciate Bee Safe for the referral. I met with Angie and Martin I believe it was. I acted fast as soon as I got the referral , showed up at the newly available unit that more suited my needs within 30 min of the referral, I was impressed that they had known so quickly that I was on my way, and the quickly showed me the available unit. I rented it on the spot.. I was able to to get the new unit and move ALL my items in immediately, which was important to me because it was my last day of PTO, IF it was not for their fast and courteous service, ( both cubesmart locations ) , I would have still been stuck in the unit I had, but did not really suit my needs. Thank you to both teams for your help in keeping me as a very happy CubeSmart customer !

We had to come in last-minute because Bee-Safe had changed their pricing and fees the day before we needed to move. Brenda made everything easy. The next day at move-in, Lee could not have been more helpful. We really felt like the Life Storage staff valued our time and money, and that’s a big deal these days. The facility is clean and well maintained, safe and easy to access. There were a few carts to help move and the door access codes were reliable and easy to use. All around great experience. Would recommend!

Kathy Williams: I have been renting since February 2022. In October, my. rent increased by 25% with no explanation. No additional security was added, no additional personnel to the office, no additional access features, no changes to the units. When asked why the increase I was directed to the Corporate Office. I sent 2 emails and received no response. I understand periodic increases may be necessary, but felt a 25% increase WITHOUT AN EXPLANATION was excessive. Receiving no response was extremely disappointing and unprofessional.
Sarah Dacres: Daniel was a tremendous help to me today and made everything clear and concise. Used this location in 2017- 2018 when I first moved to the area and everything was reasonably priced and easily accessible. Glad to be back here again for the next few months until the next move!

I went to one public storage unit on hwy 55 but the power was out. The District Manager greeted me and let me know the issue but immediately referred me to the other public storage right down the street. I went and was greeted by Sarah and Daniel. They both took time to help me and even honored the promotion I had reserved for the other public storage location. They have been such a big help and if you’re in need of a storage unit then this is the place to reserve your storage space❤️

jtrace10: Daniel has been spectacular! I've had a storage unit for 2 years and Daniel has managed the property since my time there. He was always very positive and helpful anytime I dropped by. There was even a time when he saw some water near my unit and he notified me so I could check on my items. He delivered 5 star service for sure.The property itself is very clean. There are large elevators to hold your larger items and they offer a few carts to assist with your move.

We moved our 3 bedroom home from Boston to Cary, and he was able to inform me of the size unit that I would need, and was even able to get me 2 units side by side which was hugely helpful. If I even needed a storage unit again, I would come directly back here!

The driveway is pretty steep, so keep a tight pack in your truck. No complaints, they have lit units and climate if you need all that. I got light and power so I can charge my phone and play my radio while being able to see where my stuff is. Satisfied customer.

Ample Storage here on James Jackson Ave. in Cary is a great facility. I’ve been here for a whole year now. I’ve used my storage rental for work and for rehearsing with my band. The staff here is always friendly and they maintain a nice, clean property. The manager, Pat, is very nice and is always available to answer any questions. She really goes out of her way to make sure that her tenants are taken care of. I highly recommend using their facility to anyone in the area!!

jim jones: This used to be ample storage. When they switched as renters we were not notified and locks were put on my units. They immediately reduced the number of dumpsters from 2 to 1. On top of that they put a rude message on the dumpster that says this is not a dump and if any more trash shows up they'll be removed. (I have photos). They put their stickers on all my locks which I own. The new owners also have not swept the halls for my inside unit since they took over. They also leave the gate open more often than not which is not very secure. All of these issues are from secure and not the previous owner. 0 out of 10 and considering moving.UPDATE 8/2/22After years of parking in the same spot while I do jobs during the day I was written a tow warning. When I asked the very lady that told me I could park there what all this was about she said I haven't asked to park today and no longer can park anywhere on the facilities. 0/5 * update- trash left about by staff is getting out of hand

AG Osborne: I wish I could rate this place zero. I only needed a storage unit for one month while moving. Luckily it was free besides the admin fee. They also charged me for the renters insurance even though I provided proof at time of sign up and told me their system can’t do partial refunds.The gate didn’t work for the first two weeks I was there. One time it was stuck and didn’t work and the reason was “wind and rain”. I wouldn’t trust a gate that could get jammed stuck by wind and rain. Sounds like they need structural help at that point or actually to invest in upgrading the system.They took over for Ample Care which I am not sure why they left. They took no effort to communicate to existing clients that were there. I spoke to many of them who dissatisfied with their management. The tiny office smells like an old smoking hotel room. I think there is a living suite attached to the back. I bet the man working the desk smokes inside.Not to mention he didn’t know his mask goes over his nose 10 months into a pandemic.The district managers office overlocked my unit and didn’t tell me until I went to get some items on the one night I had availability to do so. I had to call their customer service line to tell me what was going on and get a new gate code. I called the main line again the next morning because I requested someone tell me once the lock was removed so I could access my items. I was given no notice other than the agent on the phone told me it was taken care of. I was promised a call back and never received one. Even the customer service agent called the James Jackson Ave location in Cary and got a message that the phone was disconnected. They can’t even communicate internally!Don’t make my mistake, literally go right across the street to Extra Space Storage or Life Storage. Both places are clean and have friendly accommodating staff that tell you what is happening and answer the phone. Life Storage even let’s you borrow their large moving van for free. You get what you pay for here. If you actually care about your items, do not store them at Secure Care!!
