Felt very much at home browsing around and the owners seemed ready to talk and help me if I needed it. Inside was clean and abundant. Highly recommend giving these guys a shot.Thank you again!!

Asked for recommendations, and he said the plain was most popular and noted the top shelf was also popular. We got the peanut butter cup, and it was just so so. IF we return, it would be to try the plain, but I doubt we'll return.

Rachael Healy: Good cheesecakes. Great variety. Friendly staff! Definitely worth it to pick up your own cheesecake instead of using the delivery services. My family and I purchased a few flavors to try: almond joy, death by chocolate, pb cup, white chocolate raspberry, and tiramisu along with a lemon bar and PB bar. My favorite was the almond joy. This is the second time I’ve had the death by chocolate and both times the flourless torte part of it tastes like PB and it’s probably because it’s next to the PB cup in the showcase. I do wish the crusts weren’t as crumbly on them, they often fell apart not making it on the fork with the rest of the cheesecake. Definitely a great spot to get some cheesecake!

Vogue Elder: I was visiting from out of town, and always try to check out local fare. I’m glad I tried this place out. They had a nice amount of options by the slice, especially considering that I went a few minutes before closing. I ended up getting slices of the caramel macchiato and the death by chocolate cheesecakes. They were both rich and delicious. The caramel was good, but I didn’t get a lot of coffee flavor. The chocolate was really rich, and it took 3 days to eat the whole slice, but I’m not complaining. It was definitely good. I recommend this place, and will stop by again if I’m in the area.

I decided to order a hazelnut latte, but to my dismay, it arrived incredibly light and lacked any discernible flavor. Wanting to address the issue politely, I approached the cashier and kindly requested a remake of my beverage. The cashier was understanding and acknowledged the problem, assuring me that she would gladly prepare a new one.As I stood near a corner with my sister, on our way to the restroom, I inadvertently overheard a conversation unfolding among the cashier and two baristas. To my shock, they were discussing my situation behind my back, completely unaware of my presence. What deeply offended me was their perception of me as peculiar, despite my polite and respectful interaction with the cashier. I had merely expressed my concerns in a courteous manner, yet they had judged me in an unkind and disrespectful manner.The behavior exhibited by the staff left me feeling disrespected and deeply offended. It is particularly disconcerting that the initial rudeness began right from the moment I placed my order, with the cashier displaying an unwelcoming attitude. It seemed as though she had little interest in providing quality service. This entire experience has been highly disappointing, and it is evident that the employees at this establishment require comprehensive retraining.Overall, the coffee offered at this cafe is disappointingly tasteless, and the demeanor of the cashier is both offensive and rude.

As soon as you walk in they have the menu on the side where you can choose teas, coffee, boba, milkshake and many other options. To the side is a huge bread spread with a ton of options. Everything looked delicious! A friend told me the latte tasted good, however the mango sparkling tea was too sweet for my liking. The mango crepe cake was terrible. I didn't taste any mango and there was a different/odd after taste to it. The tiramisu didn't taste like tiramisu. However the chocolate mousse was decent. Overall I would recommend this place to try their bread spread but I dont have high expectations with their teas or cake slices from what we tried.

Her vegan wraps were actually gone before the other foods! Delicious! Everything was great , the presentation was fabulous and the desserts were delicious and cookies were out of this world and beyond expectations! Will definitely be using your services again and several friends asked about you as well :) I wish I had taken better pictures of the food to post here but with hosting and everyone eating realized too late I didn’t get close ups!! But I highly recommend Emma if you need a caterer and will be doing business again at my next party!!

James Convery: Ugh. I really hate to do this but after calling the cafe to leave them feedback, I feel like I have no choice.We went in to the cafe early morning on 11/23. I bought a brownie, coffee cake, and a pumpkin roll. When I was there, I specially asked the “pastry chef” if the items were baked the “same day.” I even said, “were these baked this morning?” Both times, she said yes.We get home, try the brownie. Absolutely horrible. Completely dry. The edges were hard and just not good at all. The coffee cake was great.Fast forward to Thanksgiving day, we brought out the pumpkin roll and it was inedible. It couldn’t be cut, it was dry, and just all around not what you would expect from a bakery. A family member brought one from the local grocery and it tasted incredible. How can a speciality bakery mess this up so terribly?I called this bakery this morning and was told the items weren’t fresh and the pumpkin roll was made the day before I went in. The lady I spoke to blamed it on the pastry chef’s language as English isn’t her first language. Unacceptable.We love the pop tarts at this bakery but blaming the old and inedible pastries on a language barrier is unacceptable.Disappointing.

Layne Doyle: Delicious and rich cupcakes! Note, they don’t have the minis for just a walk-in order and they need to be ordered ahead of time. However, they have their delicious flavors in the full size cupcakes daily. They’re a little expensive $42/dozen for full size but they taste so much better than a grocery store cupcake and are a great choice for a special occasion. The woman at the counter was helpful and friendly. They have a restroom and plenty of seating as well.

The smash cake was excellent and looked amazing and the baker worked with me to get the design I wanted. The cupcakes were absolutely delicious, clearly made extremely fresh. Yasmeen Khan: Absolutely terrible customer service. I recently came to this shop with a friend. The shop was cute, we were very friendly with the employee who did our sale and bought a full box of cupcakes from them. There wasn't much place to sit but we found a table and sat down to talk for a while. In that time only one other person came into the shop. Now a bit of background, we are Muslim and pray 5 times a day. During our visit to the restaurant, the time for the sunset prayer came in. It was cold outside and there was no employee or worker out in front to ask permission. I have a small mat I carry in my bag, it's about 2'x4'. My friend and I decided to try and find a place inside to pray. There was a hall on the way to go to the bathroom that had old tables and a lot of boxes in it. We laid the mat down in that area and my friend started to pray. During prayer we are not allowed to talk or interact with anyone else as it would invalidate our prayers, unless we are in danger. However all of a sudden, an employee (who I would later find out was the business owner) is loudly saying "Excuse me! Excuse me!" I, thankfully hadn't started my prayers yet so I turned around to answer her. As soon as I say "Yes?" She snaps at me and says "You can't do all that in here." I am a little confused and I try to explain, "We are just praying, it will only take a couple minutes can't we pray in here?" She says, "No you can't lay that thing down here and do that here." I throw away the cupcakes we started eating and we end up going outside where I complete my prayer. Afterwards my friend goes back in and asks her why she did that. The lady insists that "This isn't a place for that. You were blocking the path." Supposedly she also apologized but did nothing to make it right or even said please come back to the establishment. For a cupcake shop that sure wasn't sweet.

Shaquana Johnson: My son’s 12th birthday party was ruined as a result of this cake. The cake began falling apart shortly after it was purchased and gradually got worse. I called the store multiple times and instead of taking full responsibility they used suggestive words insinuating it could’ve been the fault of the customer. I supported this establishment because it’s a black owned business and I have spent thousands of dollars supporting them over the years but I will NEVER support them again. Beware! The owner would not even speak to me directly. They relayed messaging via staff and offered a measly 37.00 refund and store credit on a 200 cake. The cake was in such bad shape we couldn’t even present it or put candles on it. Never have I ever had this sort of issue with any bakery before.

Jennifer Ennis: I ordered 9 dozen mini cupcakes for my grandparents vow renewal ceremony. I called 2 weeks ahead of the arranged pickup date to confirm my pickup date and time. Well, the day came to pickup my order and the girl working couldn’t find my order. Multiple times I was asked if I ordered at that store and if I ordered in person, etc. Despite having a picture of the checkout screen that showed I paid in full and what I ordered, the worker proceeded to tell me she was going to call the other store to see. The worker went back and forth with me about my order despite the proof that I had. She finally called the manager and walked away from the register to talk to them. I’m assuming the manager had her look multiple places to try and find my order form. The worker told her I had paid for my order and had the picture to prove it but that she had no record of my order. Finally after about 15 minutes of standing at the counter with the worker in the back, she found my order. She came out and said “sorry, we don’t have your order ready. Someone lost the form and put it in the wrong spot”. I drove 40 minutes to pick up my order for it not to be ready and to be doubted that I even placed it with them. The worker said they could do it and have it ready by 8. My mother asked if we were a couple minutes late would someone be there for us to pick it up because our pickup time was 4pm and we were to have to get ready for the party at 6pm. The worker looked at us dumbfounded and said she’d have to ask then said the latest they could stay would be 830 and said “sorry but we will see you at 8”. Not once did a manager contact me and not once was I offered any type of discount for their mess up. I understand things get misplaced but the way this business handles those mishaps is unprofessional. To make someone who ordered and had the proof of said order question themselves is wrong. I drove 40 minutes ONE WAY to get the cupcakes and had to do it again just to pick them up. This place of business is totally unprofessional - not once did I get a sincere apology or a call from a manager. I will never use this place of business again.

David Bethiel: A little bit disappointing. Yes, the cupcakes are good. However...If you really are looking for top notch baking, their creativity falls a bit short. They take the easy way out by only topping the cupcakes with their (admittedly) good buttercream toppings. A cupcake-ateria should be filling their cupcakes and they should be so moist and decadent that you can't possibly make your own that good. Everyone with me agreed that my own were better. That shouldn't happen. Hence, 3 stars.

Store after store turned me away, even the big retail ones. Three days before her birthday someone told me about small cakes. I was thinking no way could they help me but I was desperate enough to give it a shot. Anyway, these amazing people whom had a FULL SCEDULE...squeezed my baby girl's first birthday cake in. I picked up a amazingly beautiful cake. They went above and beyond because the shade of the pink matched her birthday dress and the gold stars matched the sparkly stars on her dress. My daughter's name is Celestia so I wanted a constellation cake. They got me in super short notice and I CAN NOT THANK THEM ENOUGH FOR THAT.

Emily K: They have gluten free cupcakes on Saturdays or for order ahead. They’re all a vanilla cake but you can get whatever frostings/garnishes you want on them! The cake was moist and soft, not at all grainy. And the frostings were amazing too! So delicious. I would recommend it, it’s cute and tasty.

The carrot cake was one of the best I’ve tried in North Carolina so far. It had a cream cheese frosting, but wasn’t overpowering. The cake was perfectly spiced and had carrot shavings in it. The cupcakes were delicious as well. I would highly recommend this bakery.

Mara Price: Our experience with this bakery was wonderful! I wanted a heart-shaped cake with a simple, custom design for my wedding shower. It was less than a month away, and I was worried I wouldn't be able to get a cake in time. But this bakery really came through. We got chocolate cake with strawberry mousse and it was DELICIOUS. And the design, pastel orange with darker orange piping and hearts and our names in a beautiful script, was perfect. It was my dream cake, and everyone loved it! The customer service was also top notch. I will definitely be ordering from Blue Moon again.

CM WH: This is my go-to bakery! Every cake I’ve ordered from this bakery turns out beautiful and delicious! The staff is friendly and efficient and the prices for specialty cakes are reasonable! I’ve appreciated how I can call and order a cake just a few days before an event without a problem. I no longer live in Cary, but farther away and still will drive to OIABM for a celebration cake because I trust the quality of their products.

The staff got back to me after hours and made it possible for me to get my sons birthday cake. The cake was also beautifully decorated and absolutely delicious! Highly recommend this bakery! Shannon Whitehead: Once In A Blue Moon did an excellent job with our wedding cake! They were so nice and accommodating throughout the entire process, from vision to execution to delivery at our wedding venue. We showed them photos of what we were thinking and they pulled it off wonderfully. I wish I still had the original inspiration photo we showed. You can't see it in the photos but there's a lovely gold stripe on the side of our cake, too. We would definitely recommend their wedding cake services and truly can't thank them enough!

Rebekah Hunter: Intentionally stopped by the booth at an event downtown today because I wanted to check this bakery out. I never made it to actually sample any goods because the man at the booth was one of the most rude humans I have ever met. All I did was ask what made a German bakery unique and you would have thought I spit in his face. I even tried to smooth it over and say, “ how interesting” to his initial rude response which only led to a decline in the conversion. Needless to say, I won’t make the effort to visit again.

Autumn Racine: My first review was 5-years ago, so I want to give an update. I am still a fan of Great Harvest Bread. They really put out a quality product. On Friday, I got two sandwiches, a cookie, a piece of carrot cake & a load of Irish soda bread. All of them were very tasty. The carrot cake in particular was delish. I am a big fan of the online ordering. Everything was ready for pick-up at my designated time. We brought our goodies over to Bond Park for a lovely picnic.The staff was very friendly & helpful. The bread was delicious. I live in downtown Raleigh, but I will head over to this location again, because it is worth the drive.

Kaileigh Ault: Amazing place! This bakery offers a wide variety of freshly baked goods. There is all sorts of stuff ranging from cinnamony or fruity sweets and goodies to healthy breads! The pumpkin chocolate chip, extreme cinnamon, and honey whole wheat are the best breads I have ever had! The staff and owner are sweet and kind. Great place to grab a sweet and enjoy the morning!

I was a frequent customer at the Herdon location since it was a nice stop off the bike trail so I'm familiar with their goods.The Cary location serves sandwiches which is outstanding. Rob Woods: Pull apart monkey bread is like a bowl of cinnamon roll and it is amazing. Very happy with the bread, the customer service is prime, and the interior is clean and spacious.

Doug Augustine: Absolutely love their cinnamon rolls! I have never had a cinnamon roll that tasted this good AND, at the same time, was likely healhier than your typical roll due to the whole grain ingredients. The best that I have found in the triangle area and I have tried a few :) Also - the owner (Jen) and greeter (Jimmy) are both extremely pleasant. Highly recommend this little gem in Cary.
