Boatworks: what do users think?
glenn powell: I drove from Roanoke, Va to boat works. The service was incredible. Steve was great, answered every question I had. Faith in the office kept informed every step of the way. I was very pleased. I highly recommend!!!
Luis Rojas: be careful they are unprofessional they don't know how to clean but they knowhow to charge the owner super nasty they don't know how to treat customer they don't careServices:Boat cleaning,Tune-ups,Winterization
AllYour Base: Slow, difficult, expensive, AND missed the simple and inexpensive cause of all my boat’s problems that another shop fixed immediately. Boatworks blamed me instead! Take your boat elsewhere if you want good service.
AOC: Hit a tree stump underwater and tore up my prop and skeg... took it to Steve at Boatworks. He was able to repair the skeg and did a great job! Excellent welding skills. Cant even tell. Got me a prop at a great price the next day and I was back on the lake the next day. I have since taken my boat in for routine maintenance. Faith is always really helpful. Great Shop!Services:Tune-ups,General repairs maintenance,Boat trailer service
C.R.H: Poor experience. The waitress was rude. The food was ok and they added the tip to the invoice without asking me.Mala experiencia. La mesera era muy ruda, nos hicieron la bebida equivocada y se enojó cuando le pedimos que la cambie. Y te agregan el tip a la cuenta sin preguntar.
sinisa hamaric: Steve and crews knowledge is above and beyond what I expected. Always get things done and at a fair price. Never had an issue here and would not take my boat anywhere else. It's also nice to be right by the lake to take her out on a 'test run' after any work being done.
Jeff Wright: Honest friendly folks who do great work. The best marine service I have ever experienced. I have been working with boat works for all my marine service, and have never been disappointed.
Jake Garris: Poor communication, hard to get in touch with. Can't comment on quality of work because after having boat for two months, never got to it.
Terri McCall: Update: 10/21/21.We have been unable to use our boat since it was at boatworks in 2020. We were charged $1200 for an old used beat up lower outdrive with a beat up used prop. We have not been able to get our boat in reverse since it was at his shop. We now have it at another shop and they are telling us the lower outdrive that Steve installed is bad. So, we now have to buy a newer lower drive to get our boat drivable. The $1200 and 6 weeks at boatworks was wasted. I've called to speak to them about this issue and they never answer their phone. The mailbox is full so you can't leave a message.FIND ANOTHER REPAIR COMPANY IS MY ADVICE!!!Previous Complaint / Review:Steve was supposed to install a replacement outdrive on our boat. We were told ahead of time a price thru our mechanic who spoke to Steve. Once he had our boat, he tried to repair our drive which wasn't the plan and then installed a replacement lower end out drive on the boat with a beat up prop that wasn't usable. We had already bought a brand new prop that now no longer fit. We are having to source a new prop that will fit on to his frankin-rigged outdrive. He also charged up $500 more than he told our other mechanic he would charge. If you can find someone else to work on your boat, I would go there instead.
scardillo jr: If I could give them 0 stars I would. My boat worked perfectly fine before I had them winterize it. After putting it in the lake this spring it did not run correctly. That alone is not the reason for the bad review. I’ve called and texted multiple times to try and schedule a time to bring it in and no response. If you want somebody who is accountable for their work if avoid this place.
Christopher Morgan: After having my boat winterized at the end of last season, I was very satisfied with the work that they performed. However, they told me the blower motors were not functioning, but they couldn't get to it at the time. So, at the beginning of this season, I brought it back to get it looked at and have some carpet snaps repaired. I discussed in the middle of May, when they could look at my boat. I didn't want to leave my boat exposed outside for a long period of time, so they told me they could get to it around April 1st. When I brought it in, they acted like they had no idea who I was. I left the boat there anyways. Then tried calling them to make sure everything was alright, but could not get in touch. No one would answer my calls. Left messages and no one would call me back. I had to drive 20 miles back up there just to speak with someone and make sure my boat was secured. Then, after another 2 weeks with no follow ups, I tried calling again, leaving messages with no response. Finally, went back up there to pick up my boat without the work being completed. If they don't have time to do the work or just don't want to, just tell me. Their communication is non existent and their customer service is horrible. I wouldn't bring my boat back to them if they were the last boat mechanic on the planet!!!
Joshua berry: Some of the nicest people you'll ever do business with. Very helpful and very honest. I drove 4 hours to buy from them and would do it again in a heartbeat.
Steve Rich: I spoke to Rose two different times about two weeks apart. I just needed my lower unit reinstalled since I could not get it to line up after I replaced the impeller. Both times she said she would call me back after speaking to Steve to schedule. She never called back either time. I texted her and nothing either. At least call me and tell me you don't want to do it. Very poor service. Too bad because there aren't that many good boat mechanics and my boat is 4 miles from there. I have to bring it to Falls Lake now. Andy is awesome at Rolling View Marina just a lot farther for me now.
Vin Anderson: Great boat work done here.
Steven Dammer: Very friendly, they take the time to answer questions and give an excellent price.
Mike Onthank: First time using Boatworks and their service is awesome! I would recommend them for sure!
M Sari: They fixed the rear drive in 2014. No issues until today. The price was fair, and the customer service great. I highly recommend.
Brian Lischin: Great service, Steve is a great mechanic.
Aaron B: Steve and Rose are good people. He worked with me sorting some issues out on my pontoon boat and does great work. Would highly recommend.
Joseph Whitfield Whitfield: Good people
Craigslists ID: Steve is simply honest and great guy.

I've been consistently impressed with his knowledge and ability to get to the bottom of tricky issues. I always feel like he's got my best interests at heart; he runs his shop with integrity and a dedication to helping. He's earned my business for as long as I have a boat, and I give him my highest recommendation.
Scott Griffis: There's a certain level of service that comes with a 5 star review. This crew is WAY over and above that.
Dan Radez: Diego and Lisa took their time to chat with me and make an appointment. I'm looking forward to getting my vessle serviced there in a couple weeks.

Terry O'Malley: These people are the real deal!! They are very knowledgeable at what they do, and always do a little extra at no charge and are very nice to deal with! I will not ever go anywhere else as long as they are in business. I am tired of dealing with these big box boat dealers that rip you off and do shoddy work.
22raymanrox: I tell everyone I meet, who owns a boat. If you are out of your warranty period, go see Diego at power boat service. I have been a customer for almost 20 years. Best in the triangle area!
Leonard D. Nelson Jr.: Unbelievably smart and knowledgeable about all aspects of boats and engines. Everything from electronics to metallurgy to fiberglass to wood to computers to EPA regulations. He will do a job 100% completely correct and then throw in a little extra. This is high quality first rate work worth every penny paid to him.
Stan Creech: Honest, knowledgable, reasonably priced. They've serviced our boat (s) over the years and have always treated us fairly and gave us good advice on boat repair/maintenance. They are usually pretty busy so call ahead for an appointment. Once your a customer you won't go anywhere else as Lucy and Diego are true craftsman in their field and enjoy what they do, boats!
Richard Foy: Excellent: none can compare, friendly, courteous, expert mechanic and prices very reasonable. Once a service is performed, you don't go back unless something else needs work.
Tom Fulton: Great Service by folks who love boats and will treat you and your boat with respect.

Dave's Marine Services: what do users think?
crazy red: Critical:Quality,ValueDave told me everything there was junk. Including my boat. He is a joke. I toke my boat to another shop and we have been enjoying the water. Run from this Place !!Service:General repairs maintenance
David Roberts: I have been bringing my boat to Dave's Marine Services for years and never had a bad experience, they always told me the cost for repairs before working on my boat and never charged more than what was quoted to me.Thank you for providing a great service.
North Carolina Kropp: We've been bringing our 1991 Sunbird to them for repairs for over a year and we've received excellent service! We are so lucky to have a wonderful boat repair shop in our area! They know I'm a mechanic so if it's something they feel I can repair myself, they offer suggestions and support. Highly recommend!
Lisa Glossop: To whom it may concern if you do Google reviews!!!! I do not know anyone with Dave’s Marine in Garner and have never did business with his company. Please ignore the one star review that was not me. I called and spoke with him to explain and he sounds like someone I would do business with if I owned a boat!!!!
Steve Sanders: I went to Dave's a few years ago and needed a general engine tune up. I ended up spending over 2000.00+ for repairs to my outdrive. After I left, I realized they ripped me off. They said my lower unit was about to quit on me and my drive shaft was warped.. NOT...DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. Later I asked around about Dave's and other mechanics said "DO NOT GO THERE AGAIN. They rip people off"
Erik Shepard: This is the third year in a row that I've taken my boat to Dave's Marine Services in Garner on Hwy 70. Every time I take the boat in, I get honest, timely feedback, at which point repairs are my choice. I always choose to have Dave/Team work on my boat because they are friendly, inexpensive and trustworthy.Dave's is growing as people hear about their reliable/affordable marine services, so I would encourage you not to turn a boat in the same week you want it back. Certainly don't complain about their great work taking quality time away from your schedule.Dave's expertise will save you commas in the long run, since he's been in the industry for decades and has developed a foundation of knowledge designed to find the lowest cost, highest reliability for solutions to your boat's problems. You'll find someone who can do it quicker, probably, but good luck finding someone better.
Galina Chernysheva: Very friendly, dropped my skis off around 9am , to program the keys they got them ready around 12I was suspicious to go there at first because of the bad reviews, but very friendly personnel !Definitely will go there again !!!
New City Admin: If i could give fewer stars, I would. I could write a book on all the reasons why not to go here, but after 6 months of them having my boat and not fixing it, i found a new place that has it working like new (and only took 5 days)!
Mike George: Awful experience and lost my jet ski to mechanics lien. Took it in for tune up . Gave 140.00 Left for my brother's funeral in Florida. Came back 2 weeks later to this...Telephone call I asked about it. man on the phone said he would order parts and adjust labor accordingly. Now 323.00Phone call 3 price now 650.00 After the gentleman on the phone checked they realized they were not sure about parts. Some mechanic in background yells some parts billed were for another ski. Will get back to you they said. Month later it was more than last call. Plus now they were adding storage fee per day.I get a letter from their attorney MWH attorney at law.Lien placed on ski. I sent the attorney and Dave the letter the attorney sent, I Michael George hereby serve notice on Dave's marine,LLC ,via the law firm of McCullers, Whitaker and Hamer PLLC, that I request a judicial hearing to contest the sale of property upon which Dave's Marine LLC.asserts a Lien. Call the firm about 2 weeks later, I am told I should have sent a CERTIFIED RETURN RECEIPT REQUESTED Letter. I copied the letterBut she said regular mail is not the same. So I lose the ski to Dave MarineThat jet ski was never worked on by any local shop. I can not believe you would spread lies. You can call all the shops in NC.
Edgar Flores: Do not ever come here. They are by far the worst marine mechanics in the area they do a horrible job and dont even fix the problem you come in with. And when you bring it back all they want is more money
Chuck C: I don't make recommendations, I simply tell my story and let you decide. The saga of Dave's Marine:I will start by saying that everyone is friendly with the exception of Dave's son, "Dave #2" who works the front. He has no personality or people skills.Dave Sr. is knowledgeable and does good work, unfortunately he does not do most of the work.I bought a boat and it ran but needed work. I took it to Dave's for a service and to see why it was not running at top end. I was taken aback by Dave #2's demand that I pay a non refundable deposit of $128 up front just to leave the boat. His attitude more than the money was what put me off. I almost did not leave the boat. After a week, I called Dave's ( they dont call you in a timely manner)they told me the top carb needed rebuild and the lower carb was broken. It needed to be replaced. They bought one off eBay and rebuilt it. After 3 weeks and $900.00 later, I picked the boat up and was ready for a nice day at the lake.I put the boat in the water and all it would do is idle. No matter the throttle setting it would only idle. I called Dave's (open on Sat till 2). Dave Sr told me to check the carb linkage. So I pulled the cover and sure enough the lever that attached to the linkage was missing. The cam was not engaging the throttle. He told me to bring it back over and he would fix it so i could get back on the lake. Dave Sr gave me his cell number to call if they were not there. I made a makeshift lever and was able to run the boat that day. I took it back over, they were gone. Called Dave and left it overnight and the next morning (Sunday) it was fixed.I took it back to the lake the following Saturday and it ran fine. It ran fine for 3 weeks. Then the engine started doing the same thing. It would not run full power.Took it back to Dave's. They did not charge me a drop fee and told me they would check it out. After a few days they told me to come pick it up. It was working fine. I picked it up and headed to the lake on Sat. Put the boat in the water and nothing. Power was so low I couldn't even get it off the trailer.Took it back to Dave's immediately. The mechanic, "Dave" yes there are 3 of them, said it was working fine when he checked it out. He put it on the hose and it fired up and ran full throttle. I informed him it ran fine on the hose at home for me but when in the water it would not throttle up and it dumped fuel all over the lake. They kept it for 2 more weeks and called me to come get it. They had rebuilt the lower carb again. They found a defective gasket. They said they tested it at the lake and it was fine. THEY DID NOT CHARGE ME FOR THE RETURN SERVICE.I took the boat home and the next day was going to the lake. I put it on the hose at home to check the function. When I fired it up, the boat was in WOT. No matter what I did I could not get the linkage to return to idle.I immediately called Dave Sr. He said bring it over right then. I went to the shop and Dave looked at the the lower carb. Dave #3 had rebuilt the carb but left a loose bolt in the air box when reassembling. The bolt worked its way into the carb and blocked the butterfly open. Dave Sr. put everything back together and reset the idle.I left for the lake, put the boat in the water and it would not engage in reverse gear. Called Cave Sr. he said bring it backAfter a day I called them, they said the shifter cable was broken at the shift head. I authorized the repair hesitantly. After a few days they called to pick the boat up. When I arrived Dave 3 and Dave Sr were still working on it. They said they were making sure it was ok. They also said for some reason the shifter was having difficulty going into reverse. It was stiff. (It was never stiff before.) They charged me the min fee $128 plus parts ($208.00)End of Story. I have not put the boat in the water yet. I am leaving for the lake as I type this.Bottom Line: I WONT TAKE MY BOAT BACK TO DAVE'S even if its not fixed. Perhaps my experience was not the norm but after so many problems I have lost confidence in the shop.
Joey Eason: 25 ft. Pontoon with 115 efi mercury. Took it to Dave, would not start. $665.00 later & at the lake for the weekend, still won't start. Just like all of the others, terrible experience, I don't think he has a clue bout working on a boat motor. Piss poor mechanic.
Steve Smith: Terrible experience, the guy with the pony tail is rude and will take you for a ride. Meanwhile the owner sits back and does nothing. Avoid this placeLook at the other reviews, im not the only one who feels this way.
Joe Melton: I wish some more reviews were available before I took my boat here. At the beginning of the summer his ratings were pretty good. This guy overcharges and as it turns out didn't fix the problem I was having with my engine. Now it looks like it's going to cost me a lot more to have it fixed right. Go somewhere else.
Sir Miller: WARNING, do not take your boat to daves marine. terrible customer service and terrible work. I took my boat there 2 months ago bc it was running hot and running rough. They charged me the 127 diagnostic fee to figure out the problem, 4 weeks later they finally told me it was the impellar and it was going to cost i think 400 to replace it, which they already did without asking me. i picked up the boat and they told me if it was still running rough that i could bring it back. i took it out on the water the next day and it was still runnimg rough and kept cutting off on me. i brought it back to them and they said they would look into it, but first it was going to cost me another 127 just to diagnose it, which i told them i refuse to pay that since the boat wasnt fixed and i paid the 127 diagnostic fee already when i forst dropped it off. they ended up saying fine and let me leave it and said theu would try amd diagnose it by the end of the week. well 4 weeks later they finally call me back and tell me that the distributor cap and ignition coil needed to be replaced which would be almost 700 which i told them dont work on it ill just pick it up and do the work myself. well the guy that always answers the phone with the long girly pony tail tells me its going to be 380 for me to pick it up. i told him thats outrageous since all theu did was diagnose the problem which i ready paid for the first time. he started yelling at me on the phone saying that they wont let me leave with the boat until i paid 380 for it. they did no work on it, all they did was tell me what the problem is. this place is all about some fraud, other people have had similat problems. Do yourself a favor and take your boat somewhere else.
Chad Joyce: He will take you for a ride.........My SeaDoo would not start. He replaced the starter (June 2013) which turns out it was not the starter (a good mechanic would have known this before replacing the starter) the engine was locked up. Had someone else replace the engine (thank goodness) then in August 2014 the gear fell off the starter while in the middle of the lake, took it back to him and charged another $400 to replace the gear ($99 to over night the part-was not aware he was going to do that). Now July 2015 the starter has gone bad. I took it to another boat repair place (Watercraft Concepts) and had an OEM starter put on. I have spent $1K+ on starter issues because of this guy that knows nothing about what he is doing. DO NOT TAKE YOUR BOAT TO HIM UNLESS YOU WANT TO WASTE MONEY.
Alliance Plumbing: Took my running 2 yr. old Yamaha 8 hp. in for a tune up and general maintenance.Three weeks later, I picked up the motor trusting that this had been tuned up properly, and TESTED. It has not run since. The bill was $254.00 for the alleged tune up.Took it back, and Dave acted as if I did something to it and kept it another 2 weeks. I then was told that I need a carburetor. This was a running motor before it was worked on. No confidence that they could fix what was as running motor when I took it to them, I asked them to put it back together so I could get it the motor repaired elsewhere. Beware of this shop !Update 7/9/2015-Took motor to Collins,Inc.. No carburetor needed. Parts missing. Went back to Dave, got the missing part that Dave failed to install. Also got the middle finger from his employee. Class Act. Dave said nothing.
Justin Trepper: RUN, DON'T WALK, AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!My boat was having issues going into forward gear. I was told by Dave's that it was out of adjustment and to adjust was $130. I was also informed that my prop shaft was bent and needed to be replaced. They quoted me a total of $600-$800 for everything. According to Dave's the boat would be ready in a few weeks. A few weeks passed and when I followed up, I found out that they were waiting on hard-to-find parts. This was not a big deal since I was not in a big rush. Approximately two months later I got a phone call saying that my boat was finally ready and that I owed $2,000! This was the first time I heard that the cost of repairing my boat, including parts, was two times the original estimate. I pushed back and we agreed on a total payment of $1,500 .. which is after Dave's made me feel like I was the bad guy in the situation.I picked up the boat and paid the agreed upon $1500.I put the boat on the water today and guess what?! NO FORWARD GEAR. I gave Dave's a call to see if there was a fine adjustment or anything else I could do so I was not stuck on the lake. The guy who answered the phone yelled to someone, presumably the owner in the back, that I'm on the phone and am broken down on the lake. I could clearly hear the owner's response to the guy who answered... "Tell him he didn't pay his bill and to go **** himself" Yep, go **** himself. The guy on the phone repeated the response he was instructed to say and hung up on me. I called back and got no answer. Now I'm out $1,500 and my boat is in the same position that it was when I initially brought it to Dave's. If you actually read the review this far I would hope your next step will be to find someone else to fix your boat.
George F. Goblet III: I started going to a local parts store, they were able to find the alternator that they said belonged on my boat, but it was about $300. That seemed high to me so I decided to keep looking. I went to another boat shop in Garner and the guy there said the “office people” had left for the day and they didn’t sell parts anyway, shooed me away and sent me to the next guy down the street, thats were I found Dave. Dave, was not only friendly he was helpful. I showed up at his shop at around 4:20PM. Stuck my head in the shop and he was the first person I met. Dave stopped what he was doing and came over to me and asked how he could help, he didn’t ask me what I needed, he asked me how HE could help. Its a subtle difference, but an accurate predictor of how the rest of our time together would go. I told him what I was doing and asked him for advice or suggestions. Dave, took me in the office and when he heard how much the parts store wanted for the alternator he spent no less than thirty minutes helping me find the right alternator from the company he recommends, all while knowing that he wasn’t going to make a dime off of the deal because I was reinstalling it myself. Dave had to reference at least two different books and pulled up about 50 different pictures of alternators and the backs of them to determine which one I needed. Ultimately we fount the exact replacement alternator this company and it was less than half the price I had originally been quoted, $75 delivered.Needless to say, Dave has made a customer for life out of me. I'll be looking for something that needs to be repaired on my boat just to be able to take it to him.
Bruce Foster: The staff at Dave’s Marine Service is professional, friendly and they genuinely care about your boat. When I dropped my boat off on a busy Saturday morning, I was assured that they would "...take good care of it..."". I gave them a description of the primary issue along with a recent history of maintenance. (I especially enjoyed it when they said “be honest”.) They determined the cause of the problems and repaired them and also performed some routine maintenance that I requested. I told them about one item I thought might need to be done but they said it looked great and there was no need to do it. I love it when service providers don't spend my money unnecessarily. They even put the cover back on my boat and fully secured it as it was when I brought it in. Dave's service was a HUGE step up in so many ways from the mechanic I had used for several years and I will definitely be coming back!

Wake-Falls Marine, LLC: what do users think?
John Brady: They’re masters
Chris: Excellent boat motor mechanic and boat repair. Also has mobile service.
Shannon Cross: Services:Tune-ups,General repairs maintenance,General installation,Water pump service,Engine repair,Hydraulic line flush,Winterization,Oil change
Anthony B: Spoke to this gentlemen on his phone briefly about my optimax 115, I don’t think their is a person more qualified than this man in the area to work on a Mercury outboard. Will have all service done with this guy going forward. Master of his craft
Mike Phillips: Services:Tune-ups,General repairs maintenance,Oil change
Dan Kastner: I’m so glad I contacted Tom and utilized Wake Falls Marine for our ‘99 Scout 175. This being our first boat, we wanted to ensure that everything was in top top shape before putting any more hours on her.Tom was punctual, thorough, and took the time to educate me on all things Yamaha. He even took the time to fix a few small items that he noticed were in need of attention… going above and beyond. Our boat run’s significantly better and we know that we’re in good hands… thanks again Tom!
Bradley Droese: It's almost impossible to find someone willing to listen to your borderline emergency and recommend an outlet for parts. After spending most of the day on the phone with "service professionals" with no luck, I called Tom, he answered my question and pointed me to a parts company that had exactly what no one else did. Simple transactions like that are as good as gold these days.
LandBaron: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,ValueI highly recommend this business/service. They were on time, took care of tuning up my 14 year old boat, and did it right in my driveway, did not have to haul it anywhere and leave for a week. Honestly, they exceeded my expectations!! Something hard to do nowadays it seems.Services:Tune-ups,General repairs maintenance
Laura Wagner: Positive:Professionalism,Punctuality,Quality,ValueHas great knowledge about boats.
Brad Marchand: Tom and Todd really know their profession. I have been a Wake-Falls Marine customer for years because they truly care about quality service and care for marine engines, systems and vessels. I am very proud to be a client of theirs and I am 100% confident in their craftsmanship and service. They came out today and ran into an immediate and significant challenge and did a great job working through it to find a ingenious solution. Another excellent job in the books today guys, your work is much appreciated!Services:Tune-ups,General repairs maintenance,Engine repair,Oil change
Dave Ferrell: Services:General repairs maintenance,Oil changePositive:Professionalism,Punctuality,Quality,Value
Mike Strong: Excellent service. Tom knows his stuff.
Mike Hart: Called looking for a new prop for my outboard motor. Tom notified me he didn’t have anything for my size engine but took the time out of his lunch break to look up the right prop for my engine. Tom was very knowledgeable and friendly.
Gray Pendleton: Tom does excellent work. He’s serviced my Yamaha outboard and helped on a range of other issues, some outside our service agreement. He has gone above and beyond!
Bill Waugh: I bought a 02 EBBTIDE 8+ years ago. I take the boat out at least 2-3 days a week during the season. Tom has been the only one to work on it, and has kept it in extremely great running shape! I must tow at least 1-2 broken down boats to the docks per week.. but never mine!! I thank Tom for that!Like most people, I loath to have someone repair my (anything)... Normally you get piss poor service, and a big bill.... With Tom, you get someone who is honest and right to the point. He might charge a little bit more then the random craigslist ad... but as my pops always told me... You get what you pay for! I pay Tom, he fixes my boat... I don't have any problems afterwards... People say boats are expensive to upkeep... I guess I got lucky and found a good used boat and one hell of a boat mechanic that keeps my boat running GREAT
Stephen Daniel: I've used Wake Falls Marine for years. My boat runs well, and service and repair work has always been prompt, thorough and well explained.Mostly they work on your boat at your house or boat slip. They will also work on a boat you bring them in the early spring on late fall. They do not work on newer Evinrude engines, as the motors are only repairable by authorized dealers.
Monique L: Awesome service, awesome family. He is helpful and flexible!
Weston Bost: Tom is the best in the business! he takes "awesome" care of my boat!If you are going to have a boat - DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND HAVE TOM MAINTAIN IT!
Ron J: Tom has been a stand up guy and is highly recommended. He resolved various issues on our 2006 Supra boat and charged next to nothing compared to what I've experienced in the past. I've had him do small odds and ends since that ticket and the service and price have been spot on. Highly recommended.
Luke G: I have been a customer of Wake-Falls Marine for several years and have experienced nothing but exceptional service. They always arrive in a timely manner and the work they do is quick and efficient. My annual spring tune-up/maintenance appointments have kept my Mercury strong for years and will do so for years to come. Not only is the price right but the convenience is second to none. After a mishap while towing about 6 years ago, a neighbor suggested these guys that would come to the house to work on my boat. I have been a customer ever since! Gone are times when I must wait 3+ weeks to get on the water while my boat is in the shop. These guys will come to you and will be in and out before you know it.Whether I need my yearly service or if I needed major work done, these are my go-to guys. Over the past six years, the piece of mind and the convenience they offer have made me a customer for life and has made Wake-Falls Mobile Marine my first and only recommendation for a marine mechanic in the triangle.
Nick Rosso: Tom has worked on my1999 Mastercraft and my 1998 Scout for years and he gets the fix done right on the first time. My boat is as clean or cleaner than when Tom finished working on it and after having used local mechanics and mechanics at the coast I have not found someone that does better work . Wake Falls is a class act, when was the last time you could say that about a mechanic?

John Grotevant: i put a quarter sized dent in our boat over the july 4th weekend. through various sources heard AMS was the best in the area and they proved it. easy to work with, checked into any warranty coverage (something we didn't think of) and turned around a perfect repair super fast. i could not even tell where the damage was! it was that good. when i went to pick up the boat, the trailer areas with sea deck were covered with carpet pieces - they went the extra step to protect it from any critters! amazing. highly recommend them for any boat paint, gel coat or fiberglass repairs.Service:General repairs maintenance
Dave Bamford: Great service! I highly recommend. Brought a 10-year old bayliner back to life- polished oxidized red side hull paint, rebuffed, repaired hull scratches and dents and dings to almost practically new, installed new Bayliner decals and NC number with all new lettering, new carpet, and new power plug - replaced damaged 5 pin with a 7 pin. Thanks. All ready for the water- hope I remember to put the drain plug in.
