I asked for lamb shoulder and was greeted with a very fresh product. We used it to cook some Moroccan food over the weekend and WOW. This is the best lamb I've ever had! We'll be repeat customers, for sure.The store has much more than meat to offer--there is a wide selection of tea, tagines, teapots, and spices (including olive leaves). The owners are so nice, too! I asked for recommendations about a tagine and they were more than happy to point out the right one for us.

Kulsum Hafeez: Employees working were not wearing masks and coming up right next to patrons and talking to them. My parents were with me and the employee came from around the counter and talked to them with no mask on. Customers were also not being required to wear masks. Incredibly irresponsible and dangerous during COVID, do not go here.

Super tender meat, very healthy portions & it was hands down one of the most NY reminiscent deli sandwiches that I've had since moving away from NY. Great little spot, atmosphere was energetic, wait staff was awesome- we'll definitely visit again!

It's so fun when we can bring our furry friend along to meals and even better when we can get her something too!We had the potato pancakes as an appetizer and then birch beer and ginger ale to drink. We really enjoyed the birch beer! The potato pancakes were good, and the apple sauce gave it a nice sweetness and coolness.Our sandwiches were HUGE! I wish we had split a meal because wow we had leftovers! The fries were fresh and the right amount of crispy fries vs softer fries!The service was good and everything came out very quickly. Overall a great spot for something quicker to eat! And VERY dog friendly!

Nuss: The best NY style deli in the Raleigh area, hands down. We've been several times in person and via door dash. Their deli meats are the highest quality and we've never had anything that wasn't delicious. Plus, they have Dr. Brown's soda! Amazing food and service, can't recommend them enough.

Libby: Been in NC 5 years and finally found my NY pastrami sandwich at Mookies. Everyone has a slightly different idea of perfect. Millions of people, millions of opinions. Mookies is a deli...order the way you want it. I like a no frills sandwich, pastrami on sourdough (wanted rye but their rye has seeds, no big deal) with deli mustard and THAT'S IT. My style. I got what I ordered to perfection. Bread was as expected, the pastrami was decadently moist and just warm enough, not salty and the right amount for the bread. I don't expect a life changing experience, just a real good sandwich. Next time, the lox and bagel platter...can't wait. Good job. Our waiter was friendly and as other servers passed they always stopped to see if we were fine. We'll be back......FAST FORWARD...we did go again and had the lox...was not disappointed, quality lox and guess what, will be going again soon!!! Fast forward again! Went again, my husband and I now realize this has become a habit!

Justine D'Aquila: So I normally love the Butchers market but the last 2 time have been making me recheck my receipts. the first time my mil was charged twice for 1 ribeye. the second time they mislabeled the potato salad and charged her$300 for it. the manager was very nice and refunded the money but it makes me think how many other times we were charged wrong. However we have never had a bad piece of meat or any other food from there. Just double check your receipts.

I left with 2 filet mignon, 2lb of steak tips, twice baked potatoes, macaroni salad and more. It was like turkey on dry bread.And the Italian fell apart as as you ate it cause the bread was so stale!With today's prices for food..this was a BIG disappointment! And a big waste of money!

Only place we buy our meat.
