Brian Childs (BC): Lee recently completed his third house inspection for us and again, he did an amazing job. He provides details, options, considerations, knows building codes and when they changed... His report clearly lists items of concern and then the details with supporting pics. With each inspection we feel we really understand the house condition so we're ready to negotiate during due diligence.
A: Excellent report. Very thorough easy to review. Lee emailed the report the same day as I had a meeting with the builder the next day. I shared the report items with the builder during our pre-closing walk-through and also emailed the builder a copy of the PDF file so he could go through it with the different crafts to correct the issues. As a degree engineer (MSc) I was very impressed with the report thoroughness and structure (summary followed by details and pictures). Lee is great to work with. Since we currently reside over 500 miles away I could not be present during the inspection as Lee offered, but the extend of the report justified my decision to have Lee preform the inspection. Even the builder was impressed by the report. I would definitely recommend Lee to anyone needing a home inspection especially those building a new house.

Ant Onio: Very professional, knowledgeable and not after a quick buck!I had a AC unit water leak issue in my newly bought home. Since its under warranty, the builder fixed it. However, I wanted to be sure that the fix was done properly, so I thought I would get a home inspector to check it. I called Bob and we spoke on the phone for 45 minutes. After reviewing the videos and pictures I sent during our conversation, he thought I didn't need the inspection now, and save money. However, he suggested that I should have a full home inspection before the 12-month warranty expires. I'll be calling him when that time comes!

They caught so many things I would never have noticed saving me lots of money down the road. They are worth every penny plus some. The first inspection was excellent and helped us address some potential issues with the builder. We almost didn’t do the second inspection before closing, but we are glad we did because even though we “inspected everything” ourselves, Bob was able to find several issues we overlooked. More importantly, we did a Radon test (we almost skipped this too!) and ended up finding the radon level to be above acceptable — this potentially saved us lot of money because the issue was identified before closing.We will definitively be doing the 1-year builder warranty inspection with them!

Getting a good review from ME doesn't come easily, I am telling you -- LOL They made me feel so comfortable and they were so kind and respectful as they went through my home to do their inspections. I was going to wait to give a full review after I went through their list and contacted my builder and other contractors to implement their findings. Well, one of their major findings pointed out problem that needed to be fixed. This issue had not been addressed and due to the heavy rains we had these past few days, my roof was leaking and this leakage created damage to the ceiling in my dining room and done some decent amount of damage to the walls and other areas. When my builder arrived I was quick to show him the wonderful inspection report from Aber Home Inspections and to note that they saw this problem and he agreed.
