Mr. Dumpling: what do users think?
DB Liu: In here the triangle area where Chinese restaurants competition is hot and fierce, Mr Dumpling stands out from the crowd and shines like a star! If you want good authentic real Chinese food , you need to be here and not anywhere else. If you have not tried them before, trust me and go give it a shot. I promise you the food will not disappoint. We can not speak for what it was before because we were told that there has been a new owner recently. But our lunch today is crazily good ranging from two different fish dishes, stir fried veggie, tofu to other specials. We ordered about 10 dishes and EVERY dish were authentic. Let’s put it this way, we drove 2.5 hours from Charlotte today with high expectation and it still hit the mark and more.Verified and certified for good food recommendation from me. And I speak only truth and nothing but truth.
E N: Was very disappointed and dissatisfied with our meal and service here. I expected much more based on the reviews but was very let down. We came for a simple meal for my daughter’s birthday and it felt like microwaved fast food. It was only about half full when we got there and most were already well into their meals.Dumplings were so/so and just looked poorly presented and plated. They were well filled at least. We got them fried and they were barely so.The honey chicken was super or overly hot with the sauce which makes it feel microwaved and the chicken was super tiny pieces almost likely all breading and no meat, just tossed with basically raw veggies. Not steamed or sautéed or flavored at all just crunchy raw bell peppers and mushrooms and i guess the carrots were slightly soft. The sweet and sour chicken came with again raw veggies on top. Raw onion and bell pepper. Not a nice presentation or dish.“Fried” rice was just white rice which looked doused in soy sauce it was not any traditional fried rice I have ever encountered. None of us liked it.What was worse is when we walked in it was hot, loud and tiny space with large fan blowing. The young male waiter came to our table like he was so busy and couldn’t barely be bothered to properly speak to us and tell us about their offerings or anything. Just spoked barely loud enough and said something about the menu we had to scan for. You basically order on your phone. So if you have questions about things you have to get up and go find someone to ask.Others already there and coming in after us were having a good time it seemed but we were totally ignored completely. Another table was sat after us next to us and the owner/manager older gentleman came and chatted and giggled with them and played some little game with them that was on the table. They seemed accepted and appreciated.Again we were completely ignored by staff. I even had to ask for chopsticks. I guess they assume you don’t need or want them if you don’t match their type of guest. Or get any kind of additional service or even barely basic minimum service. Didn’t even ask to refill our drinks. It was very odd experience and we would not return here again.

Eric Weng: I recently visited this restaurant and had a truly enjoyable experience. The standout dish was undoubtedly the fish—it was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. I highly recommend giving it a try!Overall, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit for its delicious fish dish, but a bit more focus on cleanliness would take it to the next level.

Tony DUONG: hate that my first review I am leaving for this restaurant is a bad one. However, this time my experience was ruined at the very end of what would have otherwise been a wonderful dinner. I ordered two entrees and a drink. I spent around 70$ including tip. The food took a little while to get to the table. No problem. Because I got two meals (for one person), I spent a little extra time enjoying them both. The food comes out very hot. Sometimes it can take a moment to really dig in, especially because the dishes I ordered were spicy. Once I was about ready to leave, the waiter sort of just disappeared. He didn't come back to the table, and I eventually had to wave someone down from the table next to mine to ask them to box up my food. I don't mind that. It happens all the time. They boxed up my food, brought the check, I immediately signed it and tipped, sent it back. Just as they left with the tip, a tall guy with glasses walked up to my table and said, "There are people behind you waiting to be seated." I said, "Oh so you want me to leave?" He said, "Yes." It was like as soon as they had my gratuity and my money, they didn't have to treat me like a paying customer anymore. It left a really bad taste in my mouth. There are so many delicious Chinese restaurants in the city. I may just have to find a new favorite place to take my hard earned money.
Shinya A: The food here is very authentic and flavorful. The service is decent but nothing special - they just bring your beverages, take your order, and bring your food out when ready. It can get busy here especially during weekends and peak dining hours. The cumin lamb was one of our favorite dishes. Basically anything you order will taste great!
Vplan0019: The food taste great, spicy right on spot. Was told they hired experienced Chinese chiefs from New York. The inside of restaurant is a little bit small but they also has outdoor dining area. Their food comes out fast. The portion of dishes is quite large compared to other local Sichuan restaurants. They use fresh ingredients for dishes and dumplings, you can even see employee making dumplings sometimes. Might be busy in weekends but worth a try.Update for dumping: if you want to know what north China dumplings especially ShanDong dumplings taste like, this is the place you can’t miss. Was expecting flavors from the skin, but they don’t have flavor at all, so the taste of the dumplings is original as the stuffing taste like.
Xi Zhao: Authentic Chinese grilled fish! And you can experience free Drink if you win the game!
Junhua Su: The only grilled fish in the RTP area, tasting good and big portion.
SkyÐ: Best Szechuan food in RTP! Highly recommended!
D Crabtree: Consistently good food, this is my go to for Chinese food.
Zhiyuan He: First time eating here, the grilled fish is amazing, others food are also great, be careful if you can’t handle spicy & heat!
Will P: rtp sichuan cuisine ceiling. The service attitude is very good, the grilled fish and Maoxuewang are very delicious 😋. The proprietress also gave away two saliva chickens!
Xiaoshan Fang: Delicious food!

Dim Sum House: what do users think?
Bryan Sequeira: Great little spot. Sweet servers. Hong Kong Cantonese cuisine. Food came fast. Highly recommend
Peter: Food is average. Tasted like it is frozen Dim Sum from supplier. Service is mixed, some of the Dim Sum pushing cart staffs are nice while some are not. As soon as you stop eating, waitress came and ask if you need anything else otherwise they send you a check when there are empty tables around and no people is waiting for our table. Rushing customers out as soon as they finish their meal is not a good experience for customers. Hope the owner will understand. Also, we were charged for 20% service charge on the bill. We asked what is it the answer is tips. We are fine will it, however, I wish they could tell us. When we got the credit card bill, there is a line for tip again. I am glad that we check and ask, otherwise we will ending up pay 40% tip instead. Just check your bill and ask question if you see sometime you are not sure what it is.
E Y: This restaurant offers a wider variety of dim sum compared to Hong Kong in Durham. The service is exceptional. I highly recommend visiting during lunchtime on weekends to experience the dim sum cart.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Chicken Broccoli, Spare Rib Tips, Turnip Cake, Egg Drop Soup, Taro Root Dumpling, Pudding, Congee, Red Bean Balls, Bok Choy Shao Mai BBQ Bun, Pan Fried Pork Buns, Steamed Dumplings, BBQ Pork Pun, Dim Sum Pork Dumplings …More
Luna Pond: This place is NOT the place to enjoy your food comfortably. They threw the menu down walked away, no eye contact, no regard to customer service. You want to know the funny part though? All the stuff that happened in that span of 5-10 minutes to me and my partner, as soon as another couple walked in and as much as I hate to have to add race to it, they were IMMEDIATELY treated sooo much better. The complete atmosphere changed greeting them and walking them to their table etc. I was truly disgusted and disappointed. I’ve always been a lover of dim sum, and was really excited to have found a dim sum place on my travels. So this really has left me very sour about this experience. I really can NOT recommend this to anyone. Especially of color at this point if this is what is going to be the status quo.

Macy Madison Cimafranca: Dimsum was pretty good. Overall kinda pricey but for dimsum once in a while, that's doable. Taste of congee was the right seasoning, thr only flaw I had with the congee was it was served slightly warm. I rather have it hot like freshly cooked.Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Bryan Kristoffer de la Silva: Dim sum from the carts will be served right away, there is not much waiting time so it helps if you already know what you are ordering. It is also bit more expensive for dim sum, but the taste does not disappoint. The congee was warm though, it would have been better if it was hot.Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes …More
B: Very good food, super friendly and nice staff.
D B: This was by far the worst dim sum experience. I love dim sum and have tried it tons of times. The food here is really bad, dont let this spoil cantonese or hong kong food and/or dim sun for you. It did not taste fresh, it was greasy, and even simple dishes were gross. The service was bad and the manager was extremely rude and when we paid they asked why we didn’t leave a higher tip and then forced us to, and forced us to explain why the food was bad….truly such a bad experience overall.
ir rev: Good serviceClose to airport and the Marriott
Melissa Mazariego: Visited Raleigh for a concert and ordered from here as takeout to bring back to our nearby hotel. My goodness the amount of food we got was amazing! I must say the food tasted even more amazing! We had the pork fried rice and chicken with broccoli, steamed buns and egg rolls. Definitely would recommend and would go again on my next trip to the area.
Sophon Niamnate: Bad Bad Bad Bad Service !!!!
Dome Meza: After we eat the manager came to our car and makes me tip them, she would not let us go until we tip or give them I reason, also the noddles were salty.
Adam Pore: Food was okay. Price is high.Food: 3/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 3/5Recommended dishes …More
Roger H: It was a rip offs! Dimsum was overpriced with rude service. Also the dishes were subpar in terms of taste and presentation considering each dish's price point. Actual cost was different from the menu price which was much higher than on the menu. I would advise anyone this is a no go restaurant for dimsum.
JustMeWhyNot ATLAM: Food & service are all good 👍
lani bautista: Tried this place for the first time on a Sunday afternoon. My boyfriend and I were pretty excited because there’s not many places to get dim sum in the Triangle. Our experience wasn’t the best. The food was cold and service was rushed. The main issue was when we went to pay. We were charged $60+ for 8 items and decided that the service was not good enough to warrant a tip. As a former server myself, I understand getting stubbed can be frustrating, but these servers barely did anything and went right back to hanging out after rushing us to pick out our dishes. On our way out, like many others, we were chased down and harassed for not leaving a tip. The woman working the front counter would not let us leave until my boyfriend eventually left $10 cash on the table. It made us extremely uncomfortable. Id give this place 0 stars if I could. We won’t be coming back here ever.
Glenda Curlee: Too expensive.. not worth the money.Food: 3/5|Service: 2/5|Atmosphere: 2/5 …More
H. C.: Fun spot for food and to hang out food is decent.

Ginger Asian Cuisine Restaurant: what do users think?
Ms. Candace: This is our favorite place in Cary. The food is always fast, hot, fresh and delicious! The orange chicken is amazing and you can actually taste hints of orange! Best Asian food in Cary hands down. We’ve tried several places and Ginger Asian has the best service and flavor!
Nawida Hussaini: I ordered online and left a note asking that one of the meals shouldn't have animal products. They called me after I placed the order, clarified that the meal I picked had fish sauce in the sauce, and suggested a similar dish that was plant-based instead. I've experienced restaurants in the past that wouldn't go the extra step, so it was very kind of them.

Thee best egg rolls I've ever tasted. I like my sesame chicken crispy and wow did they deliver. The service was wonderful too but the food was so delicious!!!! Give them a try, you won't regret it
CR: We have reason to visit the Raleigh area and this is our go to Chinese restaurant in the Cary area. The Hot Sour soup is excellent but I am not unduly impressed with the spring or egg rolls. My wife ordered the Basil beef which was good but could have used q bit more basil and heat. However, my Orange Beef was quite good, and I would order it again. Good service and ambiance. An excellent option for Chinese cuisine in the Cary, NC area.
Anh-Tuan Tran: Ginger is definitely a go-to Asian spot for the locals, serving up a mix of Americanized Chinese dishes as well as very authentic dishes. They have very good fried rice there but my sister-in-law got me on Chongqing chicken, and when I found out Ginger serves it, I had to try it. It was very good and I was not disappointed. My son got the Lamb, and that’s really good. My wife, being Vegetarian got the eggplant, deliciously cooked and flavorful. Overall, rarely have any bad experiences here and very good service as well. Highly recommended.
Hampton Short: It was a great find for us. The food is certainly much above average. It's really a nice, enjoyable, atmosphere, and everyone is always quite pleasant. Homemade dumplings had awesome flavor the seafood wonton soup was fun and inventive and fresh. Tai pineapple fried rice was new and different with lots of calamari. Best Asian restraunt we have been to. Wish we lived closer.

artimanar: Went with four adults and three kids - ages 5-9. There is a very utilitarian ambiance - and having eaten at enough Chinese places, we knew we were going to enjoy ourselves. It has an extensive menu with mouth watering dishes. For the kids - go with griddle chicken- it comes with potatoes. Our kids loved it along with plain lo mein. We had a number of dishes - the lo mein was great along with scallion pancakes, cumin lamb among others. The major disappointment was the eggplant in garlic sauce. Too sweet from our tastes. Give that a miss. Bottomline - solid food, fast service, and great food. Will certainly visit again. Recommended.

Nicholas: Since last week, the food is pretty good here but one of servers’ attitude is pretty bad. She is definitely not good at serving people with respect and ruined our family unions. The young lady seems new here(never seen before) with own strange personalities and accents causing everyone sitting here very uncomfortable. What she said and behaved treats herself as boss or god and guests as beggar. Her ridicule and cynicism are memorable. Though food is okay, I will never stop by this restaurant until service quality is improved.
G B: Authentic Chinese food! I know people say this, but my wife is from Guangzhou China and raves about it. It’s always packed with Chinese and other Asian customers, probably 20-1 Asian to American ratio, so you know it’s good.

Michael Ratley: A great hidden gem in Raleigh, we were greatest with a smile when we first walked in and then quickly seated. The server was prompt and very friendly. She took great care of us through the entire mean always making sure to keep drink glasses full and helping me choose between two of the menu items. We started our meal with a chicken Satay and the curry peanut sauce was well balanced between it's sweetness and curry flavors. For my entree I ended up going with the General Mao's chicken and my fiance got the Beef and Black bean. The food was delivered to our table quickly, it was fresh and hot. The flavor profile was well balanced with a subtle but complex array of flavors that felt full on the tongue. I had tried their blood orange Sunrise drink, pear sake, oj, and a splash of cherry juice I highly recommend it. We both finished our plates, the server thanked us again before leaving. The prices are reasonable in my opinion, for the two of us to eat only cost 50.00 before tip. If you have a free evening you should stop in and grab a bite to eat I promise you will not be disappointed!
