Lucky 32 Southern Kitchen: what do users think?
Lucas Simoes: Great food. Or server was perfect, enough attention yet enough attending. Food was delicious. Plentiful. Definitely going back
Andy G: I've been a Lucky 32 customer since the 1990s. My date & I decided to dine at L32 in Cary & afterwards watch the July 4th fireworks. Everything, & I mean everything, at the Cary Lucky 32 was either bad or mediocre. I began with the Strawberry Mule with double vodka. It was served in a small 5-oz rocks glass with a lot of ice ($17.50).Next, Fried Green Tomatoes, heavily battered, deep fried, & served with a clashing sweet sauce. Neither of us could taste the deeply-hidden green tomato slices. Neither my date nor I liked it, but ate some of it because we were hungry. We were seated beside a very noisy 6-top; everyone at the table laughed & talked loudly enough to be heard throughout the place. We asked & were moved about 30' away, still wasn't far enough but we lived with it.Entrees: I got the crab cakes ($29) with green beans & grits. The crab cakes & beans were served stone cold, no detectable warmth. My date got the black bean cakes, barely warm & were flavorless compared to what I'd previously had over the years. I sent the crab cakes back, didn't re-order because my date & I would've been dining separately, and by that time, I was disgusted & ready for our L32 experience to end.A manager came out & inquired of the problem. I explained, so she took the crab cakes off the bill and offered a comp dessert (Mix Berry Rhubarb Crumble) to go.When I got home, I found the comp dessert was uncooked & disassembled in 3 different containers: berry compote, crumble mixture, and melted ice cream.I put myself through college waiting tables at 3 high-end restaurants. Every restaurant trained that it's ALWAYS a waiter's responsibility to pick up the cooked food immediately & deliver it still hot--a big fail. I left ~ an undeserved 17% tip to the very sweet waitress. I will never dine there again. It's really gone downhill over the years, in every way.I do not recommend this restaurant. High prices / low quality & quantity.
Cedita Graves: Great ambience and service - however the food was just meh and served too quickly, as if it was prepackaged - fried chicken was not pan fried and had too much crust - the string beans were tastelessFood: 3/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Brooke Rawls: It was great and accommodating for my mil 80th bday. We used to go here about every other week for about 10yrs. Haven't been back since COVID-19 the menu is smaller and the fried chicken had no flavor but they comped it for us.Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Fried Green Tomatoes, Cornmeal Crusted Catfish …More
Simeon Snow: Probably the best restaurant we've been to all year and we've been to a lot so far. Service was impeccable from the moment we walked in. Food was incredibly diverse and fresh. Lots of different flavor pallets to choose from. The cornbread and biscuits were full, flavorful, and fluffy. My breakfast plate (Southern Delight) was great temperature, flavor, seasoning, and texture. Ambiance was semi formal yet incredibly comfortable. Music volume was just right for giving privacy without impeding on conversation (I don't know why this balance is so hard for places these days). Parm truffle fries were amazing. My spouse loved their avocado toast. Great experience all around.
Kevin Seitz: Haven't been back to Lucky32 in a few years and decided to go for our anniversary. The waiter we started with just disappeared, and then the food came out. The chicken wasn't even cooked all the way through. I showed the second waiter who came by and so he took it back and the manager brought back the new one. She asked, is this one done to your liking and wanted me to cut it and take a bite. I wanted to say, yes this one is cooked. No sorry or apology or anything. She just disappeared like the waiter. The second waiter never came back until I stopped him. Bummed that it changed or maybe the service changed. Fried green zucchini was amazing. The only consistent thing.
John Hall: Food was outstanding.
Jazzy Crawn: My family and I went there a few weeks back and had Frank as our waiter, I do have to say he provided the best service ever!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Jambalaya L32 Style …More

Cathy Martin: I am disappointed since food is always good. On Sunday, I ordered the black bean cakes w side salad and Arnold palmer tea. The black bean cakes and green beans were overcooked. Our lovely waitress did put on order ticket that I did not want the sides it comes with (grits, corn, and sour cream), however the cook staff ignored that. The 6 Oz glass of ice w tea for $3 is ridiculous. Eating out has become overpriced. Sorry to say Lucky 32 has been a staple in Cary but I won't be going anymore.
Charles Fleming: The food was good and the service was excellent.Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Gwendela “Gwen” McCorkle: What happened to the hours you used to be open. You are literally only open 5 to 8:30 on most days? How do you make enough to even stay open? Your food is great, so is the wait staff, but your hours are very restrictive. Hope the hours get better in the near future, so everyone can enjoy the restaurant.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More

Ginger Hatch: Sat in the bar at lunch. It was quiet and relaxing. The server (Mike)was available, but not intrusive. The salmon...cooked to perfection.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Wings, Pan Seared Salmon …More
Janie McInnis: Food was not the best for the price point. Ribeye was not cooked correctly, sweet potato waffles were great. However the regular fries did not seem fresh. Kids chicken nuggets/fingers had absolutely no flavor to them.service was ok. Dessert was a hit. Not sure if was it because it was a slower Sunday afternoon or what but not what I had hoped for an outing with my family.
Tenisha Mitchell: The restaurant was hot and stuffy. Everyone in my party was sweating. Even the 5-month-old baby was hot and fussing. The initial server had a warm personality. After we moved tables, the new server was visibly agitated and seemed bothered to serve us.Both the fried macaroni and garlic mashed potatoes were good. The salmon was not seasoned. The bread pudding was horrible.I wouldn't return nor recommend.

Elisabeth Seigel: Got the ribeye and zucchini chips. Steak was amazing. The garlic mash potatoes were also very good but small portion. The zucchini chips and the other veggies was under seasoned. They served me green beans that were too mature/tough and overcooked instead of the broccolini I ordered. I asked about the broccolini and they said they'd bring it out once it was done. It came out over steamed and under seasoned.
Rafael Otero: Basil Pesto Chicken was a hit today. Quick service!Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 2/5Recommended dishes …More
God of poop: Had the burger and fries. The burger was so dry, you could squeeze it and no juice would come out. Very sad 😔. Buns were regular buns nothing special, not grilled or prepared in any way, soft buns. Fries came out crisped to perfection, but had no salt on it. I know table salt is at the table but come on, every restaraunt puts at least a LITTLE salt on their fries. Ran out of water and sweet tea a long time ago and our server is nowhere to be found 😔😔😔. I took a picture with my bro squeezing the burger and ong I see barely any juice.
Brandon Donahue: Great place for a tasty burger. Sat in the upstairs patio which was nice. Service was great too.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes The Wolfpack …More
Jason Stamps: Great appetizers. Great service. A bit expensive for what it is, and the burgers really need seasoning. The toppings appear to be there to cover that lack of flavor.
Justin Anzaldua: The atmosphere was nice, so I thought it was going to be a decent dinner at worst, but overall it was very poor. I had the Ahi Tuna dish with asparagus and some kind of pickled vegetable side. The vegetable side had a distinctly off flavor about it that was well beyond fermented almost to the point of being spoiled. The asparagus was grilled... just exactly that. No seasoning, or flavor other than dried out, grilled asparagus (incredibly bland). The tuna wasn't terrible, but again, it lacked any seasoning and came across as a very bland dish overall. Everything was dunked in the sauce that was served with this dish. Very disappointed given the other reviews.
Frank Aspen: Food extremely bad, old fried, dried out burger. Salmon, not fresh and soaked on oil. Wait forever for service with hardly anyone here. This was second time trying out, and will now be the lastFood: 1/5|Service: 2/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More

The Agency Kitchen & Bar: what do users think?
Ashley Andrick: Bartenders were completely inattentive even though they both saw us, and were not exactly friendly when they finally decided to help us. Couldn't even taste liquor in the cocktails. Staff at the front desk was not friendly. Bathrooms were disgusting - water (?) and toilet paper everywhere, and there was no soap. There wasn't even any hand sanitizer in the wall dispenser in the building. Couldn't exhange game card because the guy left at like 9:45? Pretty random time. No sign or anything, just waited and waited and finally went to ask someone (even though several workers saw us standing there). We just gave our card to someone else and won't be coming back. Thought we'd give them a try, but if I were you, I'd just save yourself the poor customer service experience and go to Dave and Buster's.
Mimi Hsu: We stopped here for a drink before our comedy show. Nice bartenders. Well stocked bar. Good location with TVs and lots of seating. Loved that the place had arcades, indoor putt putt and bowling. Great spot and the menu also looked really good. Our drinks were tasty although simple and nothing unique about them and we didn’t have anything to complain about.
Ryan Ashley: Good food and awesome bar tendersFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Parking space Plenty of parking Parking options Free parking lot …More
Renetta Hester: Went to the bar for food and drinks on 1/14/23 after the Improv with friends. It was our first time at the Agency and probably our last. The bartender didn’t acknowledge us at all. He kept walking past us but was assisting other customers. I finally asked for a menu. I asked him to make me a drink he act like he didn’t know how to make a lemon drop martini. He put my drink in huge glass. My party had to keep repeating to him what we wanted to eat and drink. I think he was acting oblivious on purpose. Later he left the bar and never came back.
Alex Hurst: They claimed the lanes were booked. I waited 2 hours and no one showed. Asked once again after a family left. Was lied to and told the lanes didn’t work. Was lied to once again that a gentleman was not a manager. Turned out he was a manger. And that the lanes worked. I would never come back. The hotel next door gave me drink and movie tickets not worth it.
nelson stallings: My friends and I just had drinks, so I can't really tell you how the food was
Sheree Hart: Recent my went to dinner there and had so much fun! Loved the food, the wings are so amazing!
Eric sparks: Friendly and helpful Bartenders. Very knowledgeable
Spotthe X: Bartenders and Bar was amazing. Drinks tasted great. The atmosphere was very friendly and staff was attentive.
Jack Kirk: Went here for lunch and got the build a burger and it was amazing. 10/10 must try again.
Haley Brannan: The bar and the new food menu are amazing!!
Eric Perry: Always great when a bartender watches you sit down, folds his arms and turns his back to you and never even acknowledges you as a customer.
Imani Bray: Toni and Lauren were absolutely amazing I'm definitely coming back here for my birthday absolutely beautiful souls they definitely need a raise this is for the bar section they took great care of me
Kelly Pink: Servers are more concerned with their phones then worrying about a customer getting service. Waited just to get someone's attention just to see a menu. Don't waste your time!!!
Kayla Mae: This place is so underrated. We came for arcade games and drinks before our movie started and had a blast. Entire place was super clean, food was way better than we ever expected to get at a movie theatre. Staff was happy / welcoming. Definitely gonna be go-to date night spot.
Adeola Abatan: Love the ambience. Great playlist on the Friday night. And the ‘mango screwdriver’ cocktail was so good. I’d definitely recommend.
If The Shoe Fits: Took almost an hour for food to come (from a limited menu) and we were they only people in the dining area
Jojari Cannon: Kaila was awesome! Must try the key lime martini - delicious!
Matt Paulson: JoJo is the freaking bomb! Best and most friendly bartender in the area hands down. Thank you, JoJo! We will definitely be back.
Kellsie Weiss: JoJo was great- she was friendly and makes a mean blackberry marg! Plus the food was delicious!!Dine in: Yes Outdoor seating: No …More

Brittany Pleasant: Amazing food, service, and people! And AMAZING rehearsal dinner location!A true hidden gem at the intersection of Ten Ten & Kildaire Farm Rd. Our family has been going to this restaurant for years now! Whenever we're not sure what we want to eat, but we're in the mood for something good, we always choose the Chef's Palette. Their menu always has some seasonal items as well as their most popular favorites. And do yourself a favor for an appetizer and get the Brie Bites! When we were looking for a place to host our wedding rehearsal dinner we contacted about 10 restaurants, including Chef's Palette. We were so pleased with the response times and the knowledge of hosting an event like this one so we booked with them nearly a year out! They kept good communication throughout the year and our rehearsal dinner was perfect! Everyone raved about the food and drinks! We're so glad we were able to share a place that we have loved for years with our out of town guests! We will continue to support this great restaurant, business and owners for years to come. We love everything about Chef's Palette!

Sherry Hill: I love this place. Been going for years. The last time, however, I went, I told them I was there for dinner and was taken to the bar area. My daughter and I were there for a nice dinner so I don't know why we were taken there. I asked to be moved to the dining area and was accommodated, but I'll be honest, it was a litlle offputting, especially to my daughter because she had never been there before. However, once seated, dinner was outstanding. We started with the brie bites. They were absolutely delicious. Our waiter was absolutely wonderful and accommodating. It's definitely a hidden gem.
Scott Crawford: Don't be fooled by the unassuming location of this hidden local gem. We've lived a few miles away for years and saw it in passing all the time, but never thought to check it out. Well, some of our friends recommended it to us, so now I'm passing on that good recommendation (and also quietly kicking myself for not trying it sooner!!).First of all, the entire staff is very welcoming and attentive, and the atmosphere is chill (love the chicken paintings and the music was excellent). Second, but really first, the FOOD!!! Holy cats, everything we had was absolutely delicious! The brie bites were out of this world, with 3 different saucing choices, they're like an elevated, light mozzarella stick, but SO much better! My wife had the pan-seared flounder and it literally meted on your mouth! I had the steak fries and the strip was cooked perfectly and the fries were crispy and delicious. Everything was so good, we pushed the envelope and got the key lime pie for dessert. Holy moly, it was a substantial slice and tasted absolutely heavenly. It was a great place to take my boo for an impromptu dinner date (I made the reservation online earlier in the day and it was super easy). We enjoyed the whole experience, our server David was awesome, and we will DEFINITELY be going back!10/10, totally recommend!
