White Oak Greenway Wetlands: what do users think?
Harold Meder: A pleasant paved walking path, but watch out for the silent bicycles. 15 mph? That'll hurt.
Jits08: This is a nice trail. It's super long, so there's lots of different activities you can do.For us, this is our second time here. We start from Green Level Rd and park at the school. There is also a spot to park just off the side of the road. The first time we came here, we walked to the Tobacco Trail. That was a long walk, but it was nice to get some groove time with my kids.Today, we walked in the opposite direction. The trail itself is a paved sidewalk as well as a wooden bridge. It's mostly flat so it's easy to walk, run, or bike on.The scenery is very nice. You can watch the jets fly overhead and enjoy the woods surrounding you.We had a great time and will be back soon!
Andy Bruner: Beautiful and easily accessible for morning and evening birding. You can get a good run in, too.
jason jones: Pretty cool
Wild Alaska Ken: One of my favourite places for walking.
Kelly Chtcheprov: Love this Greenway for access to Cary and the American Tobacco Trail. Pro tip: there's an amazing beer and wine shop just off the trail. Great way to end your run/bike!
Vadim Kuhay: If you haven't been here yet - you should try to make the time and check this stretch out!Our corner of the US is awesome about greenways and this greenway is awesome among them. There's something for everyone to see. We typically ride bikes between our community cluster and the American Tobacco Trail through here. But many places along the way are fine enough to just stop and absorb.I hope your trip here will leave a memory!
Bipin Nair: Awesome place for walking, running & biking.
Chris Bond: Absolutely beautiful!
Jorjor “FreddyBoy” Well: Beautiful place, easy to find, much wildlife and beauty....and mosquitoes
Erik Bomsta: It's beautiful!
H D: What happened to the water/pond here? It seems like it was drained out.
Panowork.com魔鬼哥哥: I like the surrounding scenery. There are many unique wooden bridges and trails on the wetlands, which is one of the characteristics. The only thing I hate is those cyclists, who are too fast to guard against.
Virginia Bradley: Great place to exercise and view the outdoors. Clean and well maintained.
Jasen Kolev: The Greenway is beautiful, but can also be crowded. There are many cyclists, some riding too fast, which creates dangers, especially for families with small kids. I guess it's also not pleasant for the cyclists who have to constantly shout 'On your left '.
Brad B: Long greenway through low wetlands. Usually very quiet with few people.
Quintus Manjorin: The white oak greenway is an excellent walking and cycling trail. It connects bond park in Cary all the way to the American tobacco trail! Fairly crowded at times when the weather is nice, but still a good time.
See P: Great place to watch the beavers and (mostly) turtles.
Glenn van den Heerik: Always fun

Lana Marie Alva: Large parking lot with bathrooms, a drinking fountain and a bike tool center for Tobacco Trail.
Pinwu Xu: Good facility
Donna S: Nice trail for running, walking, or cycling.
Ella Kersey: I was invited here for a picnic birthday party. Be warned if you have young children, there is not a shred of children's play equipment here. Just a shelter and a half, a bathroom, disc golf, and the tobacco trail. You may want to bring a ball or something for your children. Bathroom was decent.

Apex Community Park: what do users think?
NC Hewat: Beautiful natural setting with a 2-mile paved trail around the entire lake, benches strategically located for those who want to rest or just admire the scenery. Short, unpaved forest trails. The park offers awesome lake views, lots of birds, softball fields, a fishing pier, covered picnic areas, a big playground for kids, tennis courts, free parking, and restroom facilities. On a recent walk early in the morning a huge bald eagle swooped across the middle of the lake.At peak times (early evening and weekends) the small Lake Pine lot fills quickly, so best to use the Laura Duncan entrance. Kayaks allowed. Overall, well maintained.A variety of pedestrians use the trail, including seniors, moms with baby carriages, adults walking dogs (leash required), families with young children, joggers, and a small number of bike riders (NO e-bikes allowed). Sometimes bikers ride too fast and do not shout a warning as they approach. It is important for pedestrians to stay aware of bike traffic at all times. Monitor what is coming towards you and what may be approaching from the rear. Watch for blind curves in the trail. Keep to the right (including your dog). Try not to block the path when walking side-by-side.
Holly Sullenger: Always a beautiful place for a stroll or a picnic.Restrooms: Restrooms on both sides.
Anya Walker: This Park in Apex is the best park around that area (the Triangle) it huge 2 miles long and very shady. Has places you can fish and just relax. I definitely recommend going here to relax and take a walk.
Hayriye Aydin: This park has a lot to offer in downtown Cary. The best place to have lots of space for walkways and picnic areas under the trees. Come and enjoy the lake view along with the amazing birds and wildlife around.
Benjamin Mclemore: Nice park
Tara Williams: Great park for small kids, older kids, teens and adults. Has a great trail around Lake Pine with several benches to stop and view, as well as a dock to fish or just sit at. 3 playgrounds and one is geared more towards agility/ninja for kids fitness. There are also 4 tennis courts, 3 volleyball courts, and 3 basketball courts and 2 or 3 baseball fields, and a soccer field. Basketball court 1 is reserved some days, but the other 2 are just open. There are 2 different restroom areas, one at the entrance and one at the top/back. There are also picnic areas near each restroom. Some of the trail has sidewalk.Playground: 2 standard playgrounds with slides and one with swings. The 3rd is a more fitness, agility, ninja warrior area.Restrooms: 2 different restroom buildings, each with a separate men's and women's restroom.Dog-friendliness: Several people walking dogs, all on leash, though. Didn't see a dog park off leash area.Picnic area: Basic picnic tables. One is covered, the other is under trees.
Eric San: Very nice park, had fun riding my escooter here.
Daph Knee: Beautiful park. Love doing work and exercising here!
Akshay Gupta: Something for everyone. Shade of trees on the walking path around the lake makes it perfect for summer.
prakash sastri: மிக அழகான இயற்கையுடன் கூடிய பார்க்
Ganesh Srinivasan: Love the 2 mile loop walking trail
Marta Miłek: One of our favorite park in the area! Beautiful lake with trial around it. There is also limited options for trials thru forest. When we go for a round on lake trail we almost always stop for the playground area. There is two options , located next to each other one is fenced small playground with swings and average size playground structure and other one is obstacles course for kids, which my kids 2 an 5 love, but older kids will have even more fun there. Toilets are located in two spots on the opposite sides of the lake.
Alissa: A very pleasant place to have a nice easy walk. Perfect for sunsets and sunrises. We saw frogs and baby geese!
Sunil Nadgauda: Nice park with a 2 mile walking trail along the lake. Good size parking, also has restrooms. NIce water views from a wooden deck built on the trail. We spotted turtles in the lake. Kids will definitely enjoy the nature walk.
Kerry G: Wonderful scenic route to walk or cycle beside a lake. A serene floating pier for sitting or fishing.
Imelda McGowan: One of my favorite spots to eat lunch. The water is so comforting.
Teresa Hong: They have a loop around the lake which is like 2 mile ish well shaded. Best place to bring your dog for an evening walk! (On leash of course)
yasmine lopez: It's a beautiful place, scenic and a very easy walk.
Jill Carter: I have ALWAYS LOVED this park!! Such a gem & treasure!!! 2 Miles around a little lake!!! GORGEOUS & REJUVENATING!!! 💯💯💯💯💯♥️
Chanchal: Beautiful 2 miles trail. Liked the wildlife this park offers, we spotted few turtles, waterfowl, birds etc. Lovely views of Apex lake. It has paved and unpaved trails, a fishing pier, kids playground. There are two entries to access the trails of this park. It has many benches along the lake trail. Restrooms at the park entrances. Trails are mostly shaded through amazing trees.
Harold Meder: A nice loop around the lake, but very crowded. Side nature trails provide some solitude, but can be mushy.Playground: Toddler playground.Restrooms: Clean restroomsDog-friendliness: Dogs must be on leash.Picnic area: Picnic shelter and secluded picnic tables.

The trail stretches for miles, offering stunning views of nature and plenty of opportunities to take a peaceful stroll, jog, or bike ride. The trail is well-maintained, with clean restrooms and ample parking available. I particularly enjoyed the scenic bridges and tunnels that add a touch of adventure to the experience. Whether you're a seasoned hiker or just looking for a relaxing walk, the American Tobacco Trail is a must-visit destination in the area. Highly recommended!"
